This is the bar of Tifa's Seventh Heaven.

A haven for all AVALANCHE members. The bar, just like the basement of the bar, will be held for conferences, drinking, and just all around mingling. This is the first thing that you'll encounter when you enter the headquarters.

It was not long before soon the wolf knew that it was only a bit further from the famed Tifa's Seventh Heaven. As the canine twisted around the last corner, still hearing the Turk's specific engine type racing behind it, the empty headquarters for AVALANCHE came into view.

Thank goodness the place is empty.

The thought flew through its mind before finally the animal raced up to the door and twisted the lock cleverly with its paw, springing the door open and sliding inside. The door was left open and the wolf raced downstairs, a clicking of its nails upon the stairs peculiar and hasty. Dropping off the box upon one of the out of sight shelves upon the storage side of the basement, it twisted around and raced up the stairs once more. But as it climbed the stairs a change took place rapidly in the creature. As it climbed higher adn higher, the shape molded itself from that of a fiendish wolf to that of a well built and tall woman, her eyes the same slight pink of the wolf's she had been a moment before.

When she reached the top she hid herself and waited, knowing the Turk would not sense nor see her, and knowing that she would follow the canine inside.

She turned the wheel hard and finally she noticed, as she pulled around the corner that the wolf had lead her straight to Tifa's bar. Though she wasn't too sure if she could really call it Tifa's anymore if she was working for the Turks now. Quickly the girl pulled up and parked. Shutting the car off and slamming the door as she got out.

Racing inside the girl looked around. There it was, just like it was every other day she, but there were no friendly faces, only the silence and the darkness. Yuna stepped in towards the bar counter and placed her hand on the counter top closing her eyes. Recalling all the memories she had made here, along with all the friends too. Clentching the side of the counter she hung her head softly and looked down, letting out a few choked sobs now and then.

This had been her home, and she missed it all too much now.

A strong hand suddenly gripped the female Turk's wrist, wrenching the girl's arm behind her back as another hand twisted around the Turk girl, pulling her arm into a painful position and gripping her other arm, pushing it in and pinning it against her side. The Turk girl would be immobilized now, pinned against the counter and the woman's knee pressing into Yuna's legs, making them go weak.

It was a rough job, nothing smooth at all. But the effect of the Dark Materia had been more prominent than Kilik had first allowed herself to admit. And carrying it for so long would not have done the part-time AVALANCHE member anything good.

Truthfully, she was not intending on hurting the young woman, only on securing her and capturing her for the time being. Kilik was not interested in torture, nor in painful captures. She just... could not control her strength and at times forgot how strong she truly was. But all these worries passed fleetingly through her mind before her pink eyes locked with the young Turk's.

"I know you do not want to fight me, or else you would have shot me while you had the chance," she said, and her voice was surprisingly deep and clear, but soft and musical, like the long and fading strains of a pipe-flute.

Vincent made his apperance from the upper living quarters, he had been trying to understand the 'phone' he had been given, after an hour of tinkering and pushing buttons, and losing his grip, he had given up. He saw the situation arising in the bar.

"Yet you attack her as if she was...She's no threat in her current state..."

Vincent motioned with his claw-less arm to let her go. He could fully tell Yuna was in an emotional state that would render her useless in battle, therefore, not a threat. His red-eyes portrayed little emotion as they usually did, a smile never graced his lips, not for a very long time...So long he could not even remember the last time. He remained standing and crossed his arms.

"She's here oviously for no purpose except to relive a memory...Which will do her no good in the long run..."

Memories betrayed reality, causing it to be distorted. Vincent was constantly reminded of that...He was out of his time, out of his place, but not at the same time. This constant battle played out in his head on a daily basis, as at night sleep was not something he found nessicary anymore...

The familiar voice flowed over her and just as only Vincent's calm could do to her, the unknowingly tough grip loosened. However the flare of pink flames danced in her eyes as her gaze snapped to the man's pale, untoward face. Her fingers slid softly down the Turk's arms, nails gliding in a hesitant, smooth path over Yuna's hands. The touch was appologetic and humble enough to be humiliated.

The man had bested her again, and the only thing that showed she appreciated it was the soft retreat from Yuna that the woman made, walking in a strangely fluent way, that reminded one of the waves of water, over to the door and closing it with a gentle and sharp click.

Kilik knew it was just her nature, to be so senselessly violent. Years had hardened her into a machine, cold and unthinking of others. Her words fell empty of emotion. Care and gentle phrases were as sharp as stalagmites a fumbling beast would impale itself upon.

Nevertheless, the fiendish woman turned around and gazed at Yuna once more, eyeing the Turk with self-hate burning within her eyes. "She is here because I have brought her here, and whatever unpleasant or otherwise kindly memories she relives makes no difference to me. Would I have been brought up better, or made the choice to be considerate to her, over the possibility of losing my own skin, perhaps then, I would not have pinned her down," she said with a generally seething tone, the music still in her voice, but cooler and more self-directed than before.

The woman did not deny she had issues.

Her eyes locked onto the Turk's form, she continued in a less hurtful tone, "And you of all people, Vincent, should know better than to think something as self-serving as myself would have done nothing that deviated even fractionally from what my actions before were." She easily shifted the churning gaze back to the red-eyed man.

"I won't argue with that, but she was a friend once...and deep down I know you still think she is...She fooled all of us, and as humans, we do not like to be fooled, therefore we rationalize and deny it."

Just as I did long ago he thought, remembering his own days as a Turk, and his own betrayal, he probably deserved for something he did...but he hadn't quite figured out what it was yet...Someday he would realize it, maybe, but still...He was not sure if sin could be forgiven, and was deep down, he was too scared to try.

((HAHA!!! I used a crappy Advent Children quote! BUHAHAHA))

Kilik made a noise of general indifference that sounded like the dismissive rumble of sound deep in a wolf's throat after it had decided it had had enough of the noisy play of pups at its paws.

"A friend to Cloud, perhaps, but not to me," she said with the fire in her eyes dieing down to a cool and removed relaxation that proved almost more unpleasant than her angry annoyance before.

"Would you care to know what our little Turk friends found and entrusted this girl to protect, my knowledgable friend," she asked the cloaked man with a sarcastic lilt to her voice.

[Ahahahhaa! AC had THE WORST lines. -_- It stunk so bad my skunk ran away and never came back. I was upset over that.

J/k! So much fun to poke fun at it though.]

Vincent raised his eyebrows...he was intrigued but, at the same time cared very little...

"Go on...tell me"

He had done his fair share of work with the Turks, saving Elena and Tseng after Kadaj's gang had attempted to kill them...He rescued a future Turk from a street racing accident and certain death-by-building. Most of their doings were pretty much public to him. He usually kept quiet about it as they were not much help to him, most of them never know what is going on in the mind of Rufus, and of course he was still listed as MIA at Shin-ra, which he was thankful for, that being Tseng's doing...Afterall, once a Turk always a Turk...

((Ferret's quote XD))
PostPosted: Tue Jul 11, 2006 5:02 pm

The female AVALANCHE member let her eyes settle upon the Turk in their presence, still seemingly overwhelmed with the sudden attack during a deeply vulnerable moment for her.

"The Dark Materia," she said softly and clearly, although in her voice there was a slight tremble of uncontrolled and deeply rooted fury. After she had said the words their sounds in her singing voice reverberated in her mind, reechoing over and on. Memories were something all of them had, regardless of whether they were with ShinRa's SOLDIER, the Turks, or a part of AVALANCHE. Still there were memories and their pasts clung to each individual like a leech.

Kilik herself could never forget the ShinRa, and did everything so that she would not forgive them. Nor then, did she trust Vincent, although she knew she had a strange and singular affinity with the man.

Though I am the more superior of us two.

[I love that one line... "Once a Turk always a Turk." Probably one of my favorite quotes ever.]

Vincent wasn't suprised, they were bound to find it sooner or later. Nothing suprised him anymore. He himself could not forgive Formar President Shinra, but he had started to forgive Rufus, he could see he was losing control of his own company, letting things slide, while he went out to have fun, he had looked death in the eyes, and seemed to be changing. But after this news, he was having second thoughts.

"I'm not suprised...Someone was going to find it eventally...Though usually they come in pairs...Dark and Light, so instead of concentrating your efforts on this 'pathetic' individual as you might say...Why not concentrate on looking for its mate? It is better to destroy both of them at the same time as not to upset the balance of the Lifestream..."

He knew very well the pairings of dark in light, while he himself was a combination of human and Dark Materia. He knew a formar SOLDIER that was combination of human and Light Materia. Both of them were connected and yet niether of them cared. As both were unknowing subjects in Shinra's quest for the perfect warrior.

((And thus I introduce things from DoC and my AVALANCHE character, as for the quote Ferret says it in a fanfic I wrote when she talks to Vincent about something, I think I used it in the RP too))

The hairs on the back of Kilik's neck stood up on end and she hissed passionately through her teeth, her faintly pink eyes aflame again. It was all she could do not to clench her fists so hard her palms bled from the nails being dug into them.

"Who said anything about destroying the Dark Materia?!" she asked wildly, taking a threatening step forward. There was something like desperation and fear that gripped her deep inside at the mentioning of that, something that destroyed reason and pushed aside fear. But still she had the age and power to control herself.

"I will not hunt for its twin, nor will I bother with anything but the information I need from this Turk," she said and her body was taut, fully aroused and ready to fight at any given moment. She was an accident waiting to happen. "Talk to the others of pennyless endeavors, but I'll partake in nothing that I do not wish to."

[Ahhh, I see, I see.]

Vincent was a little bit confused, but could see that she was a power hungery mongral deep down. He should have known...He knew for a fact that nothing good could come out of anyone using the Dark Materia...Look what it had done to him! What power was lying in that dark orb, her mind could not comprehend, what insanity it would cause her, and pain. He should stop her, he thought, but then again, she was a wolf, that was all, perhaps he should let her go, maybe it would straighten her out...Perhaps not.

"Even if you could get it out of her what point would it make? None, destroying Shinra will get you no where...They will bring their own downfall, right now the world relies on Shinra's products, and athority, bringing them crashing down with Dark Materia would only cause chaos and madness everywhere. Go after it if it suits you, but you will probably be disapointed in the end...For nothing good has ever come from Dark Materia"
PostPosted: Tue Jul 11, 2006 5:45 pm

Kilik laughed scathingly and shook her head, her eyes clear and calming now. He's barking up the wrong tree.

"And I'm living proof of that!" Her eyes bore into his, their light pink so easily making others misinterpret her truer feelings and intentions. "Created from the Dark Materia long ago," she said, speaking of herself. "And nothing good ever came of it other than my transformations!

"But you think I'm trying to use the Dark Materia? You think, that I am trying to destroy ShinRa? Do you honestly think that I would waste my time on the ShinRa, or that I would try to gain some unholy victory over the world with the Dark Materia?!" Her voice was a gallant roar of indignance.

"I am trying to save my own skin, Valentine! I have no intention of doing anything more than that, ever. The Dark Materia is mine, and I will be its keeper. Not you, nor the Turks, nor Rufus, nor even the One-Winged Angel himself will take it from me!"

Vincent sighed, he had misjudged her perhaps...perhaps not...A keeper she may want to be, but a keeper she would probably fail at...For though she may be made from Dark Materia, and belive she is better then everyone, he knew very well she was not. Sephiroth would take it from her, heck, if he wanted it, he could probably take it from her...But that he did not want, not at all...He did not want power, he did not want money, the only thing he wanted he could not have.

"Do as you wish...Though you will not find redemtion in being its keeper."

He started walking to the door...He needed to talk to Ferret about his cellphone 'gift' that he still did not understand...and with Marlene not being around very often anymore, he didn't even have her to insult him while showing him how to use it. She was after all, the one who had bugged him about it in the first place.

((That was the one good scene in AC Vincent and his lack of cellphone...))
