Have him play through the game or read the script or explain it to him in complete detail. FFVII illiteracy is a bad thing and should be corrected quickly.

Snatch the poor and abused Final Fantasy game from your cousin, Slap him mercilessly, and say "NO".

The story would be a little hard to grasp for newcomers to the game. But, my suggestion is let him play through it completely. Then do it again and again until he gets it. I still didn't fully comprehend the story until after I played it a squillion or so times.

Well if I were you I would... I would slap the kid a few times in the face, take the game force him to play it twenty four hours a day without any sleep and few bathroom breaks with some food and drink. Then once he is done playing it several times I would slap him a couple more times for good luck and hope for the best o.o;

Both of you breath in ...then out...good! now first off play the game with them then pause evory so often and explain what just happend. please do not yell or hit them leave the violence to the game. if they still don't get it... have a puppet show to explain it for you! studies show that children and people that are a bit slow with final fantacy games learn better with puppets! (trust me I've helped many with my puppets) 4laugh

Don't do anything. You can enjoy the game and not understand it. I started at age five and loved it without understanding a damn thing about it, I restarted at age 8 and already I know (not to brag) more than most people on Gaia, and I'm 13. I say, he can play and not understand, so don't do anything.

Carefully and slowly explain it throughly. Maybe take the controller and play a bit to show him then say, "Now you try."

I suggest letting him have a play through the start of it. Then get him to watch Advent Children and see if he can grasp the storyline from there razz

Naitashi Snatch the poor and abused Final Fantasy game from your cousin, Slap him mercilessly, and say "NO". xd I like that one. Or at least punch him over the head until he CAN comprehend.

Sit the guy down, take a few deep breaths, and do this: "Okay. I'm gonna explain the basic plot of FF(insert number of FF here). Listed carefully, cause i'm only gonna explain this once. Here goes-....." See, now isn't that easy? And when he's gone, you can huggle the abused game to your chest and make sure it's okay...
