Other than flags, Sabers, Rifles, or batons, any weird things you have twirled? Im trying to get ideas for next year.

You know those little plastic bins people use to store stuff?We painted 'em white and alternated either hot pink or lime green on the tops and twirled 'em,tops facing the audience.It was pretty cool.

We did a far eastern show and fought with bamboo poles. Also danced with parasols in that show. At one competition i broke a bamboo pole, and as all-state championships my parasol snapped when i opened it on the feild... I had bad luck with props that year...
The year after that we did a City Of Angels show and danced with hats, but what was a lot of fun....

we used these thick pvc pipes as sticks and banged them into the ground. yeah the show that year was pretty wack especially when the coach decided to bring in a nutjob special guy who changed our show the morning of chamionships and i mean a big change not a little change. we got sixth and we had been getting 2 and 3 all season without him ><

Well, our colorguard is doing a Nightmare Before Christamas show and I want to use giant candy canes. Who thinks that would be cool?

once in 7th grade my guard instructer gave us this really long pecie of ribion on a stick it was really acward but it was cool looking.

Gah! I used streamer things my 7th grade year, too. That show sucked hard. You couldn't even see the streamers. They were the same color as the floor and they were really thin. I hated that show...
Anyway! This past year we had these big neon green pole things that we pushed around the floor. At the middle section of the show, we pulled 'em off the basses and spun them. Then, when the second rifle line came out, we threw a 5, ducked, and the poles swung over our heads.
My freshman year, the Fall guard spun these box things and these things that looked like giant S's.
For one of the shows I'm making, I'm goign to have them spin pillows, it'll be awsome.
Coolest thing I've ever seen: This guard did a Star Wars show, and at the end they brought out these poles that had glow sticks or something in the bottom that made them glow! It was so cool! Too bad the guy dropped his 10 (I think) right before they came out...

It's like elastic.

We did a show about clocks last year, and I got to dance around with this hourglass thing. Go figure, that movement was called 'Hourglass' lol. That thing got heavy after a while though...

hey, uhmmmm......u kno those miniature toy flags that u see at the competitions that they sell.......?....uhmmm well.......u could spin those......they're alot easier to spin than regualr flag...plus they look cool when u spin them cux they're so small....

Weve spun brooms for our halloween shows.
I also love our mini flags.
This year were also getting butterfly flags.
