Woo, I'm back on Gaia! Not sure how many people will remember me...
ANYWAY. The Inuyasha series has no ending yet. The manga is still going (Takahashi has announced it'll be atleast 500 chapters), and the anime has ended at episode 167 (and left it open for a continuation... so I'm hoping there will be OVAs). whee

They never defeat Naraku in the end, but Kikyo and Kagome do make somewhat of a truce. (Cave Episode,the episode where Kagome saves Kikyo's life-the miasma one-.)

They never defeat Naraku in the end, but Kikyo and Kagome do make somewhat of a truce. (Cave Episode,the episode where Kagome saves Kikyo's life-the miasma one-.) The cave episode was a filler episode, hence it is not canon. @ LilKelli11: No, she did not. In the end of the anime, Inuyasha and his friends barely manage to get out of the Stone Ogre's belly and then it was discontinued (with Naraku alive and well). The manga still continues, and Kikyou has passed on. Please note that the anime is completely based off the manga as opposed to Hagaren no Kenkenjutsushi.

kikyou was never evil anyway...she was just misunderstood. i mean she only gav naraku the jewel so she can earn his trust n kill him wen it is assembled. but kagura found out her plan. she wanted to pretend hating inuyasha so narku wil fall for her trick. she was just misunderstood. GO KIKYOU!
