Yeah! I know exactly what you mean. I was a slacker in 9th and 10th grade and this year I decided to smarten up out of the blue. xD Yeah, that makes sense. Well, I'm taking AP English and AP Psychology. Those two classes should be very easy for me, because I always do very well in English and Psychology is the career path I want to go down. Things that interest me I always do really well in. Anyways, good luck with college and all. You, Ariel, and I need to hang out again sometime. :3 If you ever want to call, I'll give you my cell number or my house phone.

Lol well I dk the home part. I moved out of my moms house to live with Vicky for awhile and then I moved out to live with Bob. So i'v pretty much been home hopping. XD; But your right its a bit cheaper and better to start so I might sign up soon.

Cool beans! Animals are fun arent they? ^^ My pets are still lil buggas tho D: Hey wait your grades? Didnt you always get good grades in high school? XD

Anyway I gotta start looking for college, probably start with mcc like you did but I dk. I want to become a lawyer or something along those lines. biggrin

Welcome to my profile, it's not much, but that's ok. So, I guess you came here to learn a little about me, ne?

I'm 19 years old, and a freshman in college. As of right now I am a biology major, and plan to work with animals in my future career most likely studying their behavior. Obviously, I love animals. I have a moody feline named Oreo, and have had rabbits, rats, and a hampster in the past. I'm pretty easy going and friendly, I also enjoy spending some of my time helping others. I love making new friends, too.

I like anime/manga, and am pretty open minded when it comes to genres and series--I'll give anything at least a try. My taste in music seems to go along with my anime and manga addiction, as I do tend to enjoy J-pop/rock, but that doesn't mean I don't like American music, as well. I love all kinds, although I'm not too fond of most rap. Anyway, I mentioned anime and manga so I suppose I'll tell you some of my favorite series. Inuyasha has been a favorite of mine for a while (although I do agree it needs to end), I'm also a fan of Ranma 1/2--I plan on looking into more of Takahashi's works. I like Chobits, and Pita-Ten, as well, both cute stories (Chobits with a bit more adult humor). Excel Saga is rather funny if you like random comedies. I did like Fullmetal Alchemist, although a little sad at times. Currently, I've been watching a new series by CLAMP called Tsubasa Chronicle (aka Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE). It's an interesting series that uses several of CLAMP's former characters and puts them in a whole new plot.

Several CCS characters are in the series, as well as xxxHOLiC, and appearances by characters from Chobits. It's a nice series and still currently ongoing, and up for download on AnimeSuki (only the most recent episodes--seasons 1 and 2 have both been licensed by FUNmation).

I think that's about it...

Monthly Media: Yuna Ito - I'm here

Happy Early Easter... and Golden Week! Time for this month's new video. Ah yes, another Yuna Ito. Despite her newness to the Jpop scene she's one of my favorite artists. And, for those who didn't see my other Yuna Ito PV back in December, she's actually a US citizen. Born in LA, California and raised in Hawaii. She's half Japanese and Korean, and now obviously lives in Japan. She made her debut in the first NANA movie with the song 'ENDLESS STORY', and also played the half American character Reira. Her single, ENDLESS STORY, actually beat Mika Nakashima's (who played Nana) single 'Glamourous Sky', even though they were both released at different times.

Anyway, enough about the singer, how about that song. 'I'm Here' is really an awesome song, and the first more serious one I've heard from Yuna that wasn't a ballad. The song's the theme for 'UNFAIR-the movie', and there's many scenes of the movie throughout the PV. The song's pretty catchy and the choruses are good dancing music.

I like the PV for the song, but I wish there were less clips from the movie and more music video stuff, like longer dance-scenes and such. Regardless though, it's a good PV and an even better song. The movie looks good, too, one I may look into seeing.

Anyway, here's the tracklist for the single 'I'm Here', which was release March 14th.

'Reason Why' is the first all English song that wasn't a remake of another song (Yuna redid These Boots Are Made for Walking on the single 'stuck on you'). The song is ok for a b-side, the lyrics are pretty repetitive, and the verses are a little lame, but the melody of the choruses isn't too bad. Not my favorite song of Yuna's, unfortunately. 'Faith' was the a-side from her second single (which was also a theme for a Japanese drama). I like the regular version of 'Faith' better, but the remix is ok.
