I was wondering, do we have a thread advertizing the guild in the registered guild forum? If not, should we make one before the party? Personally, I think the guild could do with a few more members. Even if we don't out right tell everyone one about the guild party... which wouldn't be a good idea, cuz then you'd have people join just to score stuf, then never come back. That's not fair to all the regulars.
But our numbers have been falling a bit, and we can do with an infusion of new blood. And what better way to welcome new people than the guild party? Besides, the guild party has it's own forum now, and isn't right in your face like last time... so it is people who are paying attention who will know about it.

I sent PMs to about 10 people who used to be active in PJs and still have it listed in their Guilds, informing them of the party. Hopefully that will help some 3nodding

Personally, this guild seems somewhat .. "dead" lately. I haven't been here for several weeks, so, I can be blamed for my absence. So, I guess livening up the Guild with a few new members shouldn't hurt, if they join, but don't post at all, and choose to be inactive, that's their problem. But, I guess we could just invite more members.

Back in the day, I used to randomly invite a ton of people to try to find active people, but then we just got rid of half of those people who weren't being active. ^^; I do like advertising though. xD It's fun getting more people.

Hmm, well I'm a lurker by nature, but if the guild were just a little more active in general I would be as well, so I'm for it. I'm just worried about how the guild would be advertized: with the proper name, or the temporary joke one? 'cause, y'know, we should be carefull about what sorts we're likely to attract when we advertize stare

It would be with our proper name. Although I have always hated it. Even Cannibalistic Spork disliked the name xd
I know what you mean though, I hate it when I post in several threads, and go back the next day, and I was still the last person who posted for 15 threads in a row. When some one finally does post, I don't want to post right after them in fear that lurkers will think it was still my old post from before and not realize that there has been some discussion! gonk

I actually just recently renewed my training! I am AED certified as well (hell, I can't recall what it stands for at the moment, artificial electric defibrulation? the shock paddles they have some places now)
I shall commence CPR shortly!

May I suggest we conduct an in-depth study on the life signs remaining within this guild's system? It is entirely possible that it has merely fallen into a catatonic state, from which it could awaken at any given time, either with ot without external stimulus. If we immediately resort to life-saving techniques, we could induce further ill effects.
Mayhaps if we were to administer a small dose of adrenaline, in the form of a party, the guild could revive from it's comatose state?
