i know this is most likely nonsense but its been going through my head for a while and i thought you could help with some answers....so any opinions are fine...just be honest....and by the way when you read what i've writen the group i am talking about is my IOP group....(intensive outpatient)

i'm not like the rest
everything i do has meaning in it
while they seek happiness
i only want to understand
understand this disease running through my veins
everything i do has have a purpose worth explaining
i always feel like i'm outside their circle
yet i'm not sure if i honestly want to be where they are
i'd like to say i'm different
but if i say that then i'm exactly the same as the rest
so...what am i?
the only question i want an answer to
what am i?
better yet....what do you think i am?

You are a child of God. Wonderfully fearfully and perfectly made. Whcih also makes you a peculiar person, because the bible states that we are a peculiar people. Never forget that. It's the main thing you need to remember. You want to know who else you are? Ask God. He knows you better than any of us. He created you, Hed numbered the hairs on your head. and now I get off of my soapbox. whee

most times you tell everyone else who you are and they act acordingly. There are expections but most people are suckers for the power of suggestion.

Other advice tidbits

1)just forgot caring about what people think.
2) honestly if you are ever going to change you will be the one making the effort. Not your friends, famliy, boyfriend etc. In the end all you have is a war between the Id and the Ego

I am going to give you a booklist that will help ya out

-Thus Spoke Zarathustra : A Book for All and None
by FRIEDRICH NIETZSCHE

-Any Fiction by Ayn Ran

-Six Pillars of Self-Esteem
by NATHANIEL BRANDEN

I swear all the worlds problems could be solved if low self esteem and stupidity were abolished

I peronally believe that God doesn't even exist. I am -not- commenting upon those who do. I'm am merely stating my own personal opinion and thoughts. We are who we shape ourselves as. When we want to change, some giant hands don't come out of the sky and mold us like intricate detailed clay figurines. We don't go to a God-N-Stop: Personal Changes In An Hour Or Less. We do it ourselves. Like Steve said, the effort is on our part. We are who we want ourselves to be. We try to make excuses for ourself. Do an expiriment. In one day, from when you wake up till when you go to sleep, count how many excuses you give that aren't needed. We like to make excuses for who we are. We feel the need to apologize for what we've become. Don't let yourself become something that needs to be apologized for. You apologize for breaking a friends stereo, tearing a page out of a library book on accident, for accidently hitting someone. Don't apologize for who you are. You are a good person. You are worthy of all the love and affection that the world has to offer. You are worthy of knowing what happiness in life is. You are loved by all of us here, and you should be able to say it to yourself and fully believe yourself. Thats the hardest part about us as humans. We don't quite fully believe that people love us. I am trying to diminish that doubt. I'm down to about maybe 8% doubt. Rough rough estimate. You can't really put numbers to what you're feeling.

bah id then be having low self esteem and be stupid just to rebel subconciously.

-.-;

Steve Sapphire is telling the truth. everything you're feeling right now is purely human.

humans have tendencies of being depressed, questioning themselves and all that crap that brings us even further down into the pit we like to call 'depression'

I agree with codi. Alot of the time what trigers depression is the feeling of being unloved. I know that was my problem and after some of the crap that happend in my life it was to hard to keep it in anymore. So i myself turned to my"drug" though i dont need it anymore i found out who really loved me in the end. Any now i am much better. The problem is depression happends to many. From the rich and popular to the loners. Most people who i have talked to have wanted to end their lifes.

My best friend wants to kill herself. But the only thing thats keeping her alive is wanting to see her grandfather again in heaven. In times like these you need to find something to keep you going like she found her faith to keep her alive. The thing that keeps me going to staying here for my family and my friends (well most my friends are online but it all good) Before my brothers friend brother killed himself i was alwaying thinking about suicide. Couple of my closest friends talked me out of it and i am glad. After i saw what happend to my brothers friends family it was horrible the sucide tore the family appart, and i wouldnt want that to happen to my family.

I know forgeting what people think and getting the idea of people acctuly careing is hard i myself am still not over that one lump. I still have break downs time to time. But its normal i have my familyh ere to help me. (lol though most of the time they are what cause my breakdown) You can only be you, therefore you are the only one who can change you. You may change you for good or change for bad either way you are shaping your future when you do this. Life is full of choices from small things like what to eat for dinner. To big choices like suicide. Depression is a bad thing yes, but it does do one good thing as it did for me. Though i am still depressed once in awhile i found out who i really was, who really cared for me, and who didnt. Just from my depression i have found many diffrent things about myself i didnt know before. Though depression is rough, and a lot dont make it out alive it will make us who we are tomorrow.

On the contray, He has to know. If you're sick and he is able to heal something that even the doctors don't know is there, why wouldn't he know the number of hairs on your head. He's so much deeper than that. But anyway, this isn't on topic.

stare I find this irritating. Why is it that everytime I make a post on God directed to someone individual someone tries to prove me wrong by saying he doesn't exist. I said this to Tear because she does believe he exists. She and I talk about Him often therefore to her my anwser is valid. I'm earnestly annoyed though.

If I see a post where someone says he doesn't exist never do I jump in the conversation by saying that He does. If you want to say something say it, just don't discredit my anwser because you don't feel the same way about it. And Codi this wasn't just directed towards you.
