I hate that my scanner makes all my pictures come out crap looking!! I looked at a picture in my folder and I thought "OMG last time i looked on this was on the internet and I was thinking about discarding it!" So now, I'm gonna stop scanning. Might even destroy my dA account until I get a better scanner.

Looks way better on paper!! The scanner can't pick up detail and shading. And that's just because you're trying to be nice.

nothing looks as good scanned, as it does in real life, and it never will, regardless of the quality of your scanner...

Well then you can fix up the lineart and stuff on it.

You've gotta screw around with stuff though that I can't explain since I don't have PS.. but they've got some tutorials on DA on making lineart or whatever. Making it not look as cruddy as it did after being scanned. xD
