Hey.

I was wondering if theres anyone out there who can show me the path to the dungeon filled with dragons.

Id like to get into playing D&D (or is it AD&D?) but I dont know where to start. If anyone could suggest books to start out with or any other tips, Id really appreciate it.

Thanks.

I've never played pen and paper D&D. It would be fun to see how its played. 3nodding

If you have MSN or AIM, I can explain some things on there and maybe even send you the players handbook if you want it

I know I don't mind helping new players along in my campaigns, most the DMs I know feel the same way. If you would like to try it out Here are links to the campaigns I know of:

(most of these are still looking for active players)

Run by other DMs:

- AI-chan's BESM game
AI-chan Unmei
For those of you who don't know, BESM is anime-style RPGing at it's best!!

- Masters of TableTop RPGs
Hunter Rose (the grendel)
Sci-Fi/Modern/silly rpgs
Current: Star Wars D20, GURPS CYBERPUNK 2020, Forgotten Realms

- DragonLich's Campaigns - Currently FR
- Aravol's Campaign
- Apocalyte's D&D campaigns

MY Campaigns:

- Forgotten Realms campaign RUNNING
- Oriental Adventures campaign RUNNING
- Another FR Campaign RUNNING
- Ravenloft Campaign

I'll keep adding more as I find them xd

Midgear, I do have AIM and MSN. Whichever you prefer, just let me know. You can PM me your preference and I can return the PM with my information. You are more likely to catch me on in the evening, I work 7am-4pm a lot of the time.

lol one campaign me and my friends played, one of my friends was a gay crossdressing gnome. Who liked to wear bright bright clothes. I was a half orc who got kissed by a water nymph and would have turned into a guard for them if one of my companionions hadnt used her chaos wand and turned me into a minotaur. Our last campaign we were playing an evil campaign. I had a neutral evil dwarf cleric of nerull who wanted to have an undead army. I rose a few dwarves, humans animals and a dragon we killed biggrin

I actually did take the time to check out the Wizards website, but I was looking for a more personal approach.

Also, just because I know how to roll the dice doesnt mean I have anyone to roll 'em with.
