Trying to organize a campaign here. Homebrew DnD setting, but with psionics being just as widespread as magic is. Might be a little rough in terms of the first few hooks, but expect a long-spanning storyline. I'm only looking for poeople that can post at least 1/day, so please stay active.

due to ill experiences with previous crowded games, I'm going to limit the number of people, though if there is any leftover people, I will simply run multiple similar games, and any lack of numbers will be supplemented with an NPC.

as for characters, please PM them to me, with the following conditions

-starting level; 3
-gold; 2,700 gp
-stats; 28 point buy
-allowed books; ANY 3.5E, as i have ready acess to all of them, but please mention sources in your notes if you use more than the core handbooks. Any race with a ECL of 2 or lower is ok, though I can easily work in anyone that wants a Thri-Kren 3nodding
Backrounds; please mention how your character got to where they are. Being 3rd level, you may alreday have experience as an adventurer, or you may be a particularly talented novice. Either way, the game will start in the small port city of Acrea, so make either a specific note or include a general reason why they would be going there.

I have donated the gold and gotten a subforum, 'Aravol's Campaigns', so we will be playing in there.

I said that psionics are equally divided with magic, so a non-psi is by no means handicapped or restricted. I prefer to play my characters as Psions, I do not have problems with other people being non-psionic

point buy system;

all abilities start at 8. You 'buy' higher ability scores with a pool of points (in this case 2 cool . After using all your points, add in any racial modifiers and you have your ability scores.
