Okay, here you need to know about Magic:
There are the types of casting magic:
Alchemy: Alchemy requires ingredients to use, and time to prepare. You can carry bottled salves, potions and salts aronud with you, once you've made them.
Divination: Divination includes skrying, divining, warding and telepsychosis.
Summoning: Summoning involves the summoning of live beasts, Gods or spirits to your aid. They can be bound Familiars, or they can be one-time only summons.
Conjuring: Conjuring is the act of drawing items to your aid, including telekinesis, teleportation, drawing needed spell components or thieving.
Spell Casting: Spell Casting is the art of casting magic that in of itself has the desired effect, for example: Fire Ball, Cage, Mage Fist, Hell Stone...
Enchantments: Enchantments are similar to Spells except that they cause an effect, such as Dance, Age, Size, Levitate, etc. Enchanted weapons fall into this category.
Healing: Healing includes magic that heals, raises dead or imbues holiness or unholiness to items/people. Necromancy is a type of healing.
Illusions: Illusions ensnare the 5 senses, causing them to believe in figments of the caster's imagination. The more complex the Illusion, the more believable it will be, for instance, a low level Fire Illusion would make to see it, but a more talented Fire Illusion would make you feel heat and smell the smoke...
Rune Work: Rune work is the art of inscribing runes into objects/people to give them power of deities, elements or ideas. There are different Rune Sets depending on the race.
Charm Work: Charm Work is the art of makng talismans and charms that when worn or held by a user grant the user power. Magical artefacts fall into this category.

Different types of magic draw on either the Manna Weave or the Huskline. Those who draw primarily on Manna Weave magics tend to age more quickly, become tired after prolonged casting, and develope strong channelling abilities to difuse magic.
Those who draw primarily on the Huskline tend to suffer from visins of coming death, hallucinations or find ghosts following them. The Huskline casters usually develope irrational phobias or madness as they get older, and some begin to become transparent towards the end of their lives.
So what is the difference?
The Manna Weave is the main lines of magic running through the world like gravitational pull or magnetic lines beneath the crust. In order to cast magics that rely of the energy of the Manna Weave, you must spiritually connect with the closest line of Manna Weave and tap into it's energy. The Manna Weave lines are broad and think and lace the entire planet's surface like a circulatory system.
The Huskline is like the capillaries between arteries. The huskline is formed from failure, termination and possibility. while the Manna Weave represents all of the choices that have been taken, all of the lives being lived and all of the histories past, the Huskline erupts from all of the choices not taken, all of the lives not being lived once death takes its toll, all of the dreams and fears and doubts that have no substance but still have affects. While the husklnie isn't as strong as the Manna Weave in sheer force, it does outnumber the Manna Weave in amount. In order to cast magic that relies of the Huskline, you must will the tendrils to pull and come together and shape them into the form you wish the magic to take.
