So now we must all find something to do and do it. So in this thread you will sign up for one of the follow:
Avatar Contest (Isabelle)
Banner Contest (Zathura)
Short Story Contest (Deehe)
Profile Contest (Cress Albane)
Code Breaking Contest (miquelet)
Art Contest
Lotto (Skeletina)
Scavenger Hunt
Poll Vaulting (Kninja)
Party Favors (i.e. sketches and drawings and things along that nature) (Proclaimer Rye, Zathura Multiple people can sign up for this.)
Your name will be added in red text in parenthesis when I update it all. Some thing can have multiple people signed up for it. Those in charge don't necessarily have to do it but have to see it gets done (meaning you can ask otehrs to help you do it). Sign ups will go til next Monday or Tuesday. After which I'll ask next week for those in charge to tell me what they have planned for things to happen. I'm shooting that the last week of may and first week of June this'll all happen. Pushing it, I know but meh. So sign up mateys or face terrors of the plank and davey jones' locker. pirate

Well, assuming people have no problems giving out their mailing addresses, I can begin making personalized pics anytime. As for the rest of the favours, I think it might be better handled by someone else.

You can be sure to definitely count me in on the Profile Contest, heh. Anything else other than that, I'm not really sure. But about Proclaimer Rye's idea, sure, I'm up for it. smile I'll wiat until the others posts here before I attemtpt to do anything.

Well, I suggested the poll vaulting thing, so I guess I should take responsibility for it. Anyone who wants to help is more than welcome though, even if you just have some feedback on the idea or suggestions on how it could be run.

Deehe Can people who run them still enter? That's up to them and what it is. Like the short story contest, it depends on how you run it. Some things are dependent. As long as you don't decide how things go (meaning if it is chosen democratically) then its fine I think. Its dependent on the event though.

So by having a theme as pirates does that mean we gotta work our contests to deal with pirates? Like for mine, an pirate avatar contest?

You can hold one that is pirate them and others that aren't but it be nice to include it every here and there. But you don't have to go out of your way to include it.

hmm pirate themed short story contest... that should be really interesting. 3nodding is there by any chance a link to last years story contest thread anywhere? if not i'll probably just go to the writing forum and get some format ideas. 3nodding everythings sounding so great, this party is going to be fun. heart
