I normally pop in the guild every other day or so and I'll try to read up on new topics and check out links and such and it's usually just daily business for me. No big deal.

Today I was feeding my baby and I read the thread on someone's friend who was concidering an abortion. I checked out the links in one of the posts.

And suddenly...

Everything that I have already read and/or have already seen before just hit me so hard all over again. It made me wonder if it ever gets easier. I couldn't go on. I just started bawling and I couldn't continue onto the second link.

And I just can't stop crying right now.

Edit: I'm really having some trouble getting over this! I think I might have to go take a nap.

I'm assuming it was a choicer's post...yeah...they use the sam einfo over and over again. It trully gets boaring. Its worth it to keep gogin though, because slowly people are seeing the truth and no longer eating what the side of "choice" feeds them

fighting a war is never easy... and that's what we're doing, really. we're fighting for the rights of those who can't yet fight for themselves. of course, we aren't using weapons or killing anybody, but we are still fighting for what is right, rather than what is convenient. and of course, when you are on the front lines, you will see the casualties up close.

sad I'm so sorry. I hate it when that happens. Sometimes I think I've seen it all so I'm used to it and it's no big deal, but then I read the same things over again and it upsets me just as much as it did the first time. I haven't found a way to build up an immunity to the horror yet, I don't know if there is one beyond convincing yourself that none of this is true, it's not happening, there is no one being hurt. Other than that, what can soften the blow of this crime?

I feel rotten too because I always want to know more. I want to know everything I can about it, even though it's so horrible, and I feel like I must be sick or something to want to know this all, especially when I know I don't react well to it.

I always wondered how people could argue for abortion...

They are cruel because they can be. They are on the same level as grade school bullies.

As far as the horrors of abortion, I am blown away at the evil.

Heh, yeah.'-'; I just really dislike..what they put fetus's against..

-They say they are not human in any way
-They say the Fetus is raping the woman -this one bugs me a lot-
-They say the Fetus is invading her bodily domain

-They compare abortions, to double eyelid surgery, boob surgery, fat recuding surgery

-They put the fetus up against aids/std's and parasites...since when do genital warts grow into beautiful humans?

-Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who is bothered by this.'-'; Maybe I'm just too emotional.

I'm very bothered by it too. They dehuminize the fetus to the point of absurdity. They care more about a chipmunk than they do about another human being. It's horrific.

Indeed..someone even put it up against misscarriges, if you ask me they are two very different things.Misscarrige is sometimes accidental death, it can't really be helped, abortions on the other hand are by choice..I don't see how killing fetus's is "natural' and "the way of life" or "the way the world works"

exactly. I hate the argument "well are we going to prosecute every woman who has a miscarrige?!"

No, we treat miscarrige like any other natural death. It's really pathetic that they pretend there is nothing different about shooting someone in the head and causing their death, and that same person dying from a heart attack.

No. You really shouldn't feel bad for wanting to understand. I try to learn as much as I can, too, otherwise how will I be able to defend my beliefs?
