Which has opened up an untapped river to my softer, more psychadelic (sp?) style of writing. For those that didin't know I'm a massive fan of the Beatles anyhow. I wrote something that I wish to share with you all, because I trust you enough not to take my lyrics. I hope you enjoy it. The title is 'Pink Stripes.'
[Verse 1]
Imagine yourself in a street or a palace,
Your mind stretches forward, body in the past.
A man approaches you, eyes full of red malice,
But you want this great feeling to last.
[Pre-chorus]
The moving floor isin't as bad as you think,
Please let it just take you away.
Look through your glass eyes, everything despised is now gone.
[Chorus]
Shadows are telling me to move, think I"ll stay
The ink on this page like the tears on my face are fading to gray.
Pretty girl passes, try not to cry,
As she shows me the pink stripes in the sky.
[Verse 3]
A whisper comes in and tells me it's morning,
But still I'll just sit, still I"ll just stay.
The dark was cold, but this light it's boring,
Please let it just take you away.
