I'm doing an I-search report for my english class ok? well i decided to go with what i know and choose to write it on D&D...well, i found this journal artcile on "SHOULD CHRISTIANS PLAY D&D?" well....just so you know, i am a VERY devout christian (to the best of my ability) and to my amazment i found this article very very very very STUPID!! i mean this guy's an idiot!!! read for yourself and please comment, (i could use this for my paper blaugh )

wow, that article was 100% complete bullshit surprised obviously, this guy is one of those zealots who thinks everything that gives joy is evil or something like that. This is just a game, where one can use their imagination, how is that bad? yeah, people can get carried away, but the truth is, most people don't. How does pretending to be a warrior and rolling a few dice destroy your soul question like I said, bullshit.

I think that if you beleive that DnD is a game then there is nothing wrong at all, I myself am Christian. But on the other hand...remember when it first cam out some people began to take the game to seriously and painted their nails black and stuff like that, well I think that that isn't nessecary and totally anti-religous.

D&D is not 'satanic' or any of that other crap that man is talking about. He's probably so into being christian, that he thinks that anything beyond what he can control, is evil, and demonic.

I have been a victim of christian ostraciszim, I have been called the Devil for my craft...Yet I stand strongly by that which I have dedicated myself to for almost 13 years now, so while they may have missed out on what I had to teach by not allowing me to defend my game. I still respect there beliefs (even if they are HORRIBLY wrong)

AFTER ME AND MY BOYFRIEND (WHO IS ALSO A CHRISTIAN) GOT DONE READING THAT THING WE WENT OUT TO HIS CAR, ON OUR WAY TO A DND GAME, AND HE HAS A HUGE BOX OF MINIS AND BOOKS IN HIS BACKSEAT. WELL HE ALSO KEEP SHIS BIBLE IN THE BACK "DASH' I GUESS, AND SOME HOW IT GOT LAID IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BOX OF DND STUFF!! i don't view D&D unholy....i mean iplayed in a church before! and no one cared...it's a game like any other...and as far as LARPS go, we all played like that when we were little....btu in a different form..cowboys and indians etc...

I'm Protestant Christian, but I really don't care much for the bible. DnD is just a game, but your religion shouldn't dictate what games you play. I honestly think the person who said all that is a Catholic bible beater of the worst kind. That's almost Jack Thompson crazy, but not quite.

I've spoken with Mr.Thompson, he's fairly intellegent just quite insane and a bit into himself, the whole war against the game is pure lunacy.....
