Hey everybody! I am seeing which Classes everyone thinks is the best in DnD! If I forget one of the classes, please tell me and I'll add it. ((Note, these are the basic classes)). Then, post why you think that?

I chose the Cleric because he/she can use healing and damaging effect spells without having to worry about armor. They also make decent warriors.

Ugghhh... I am gonna have to say a fighter, they are like a blank canvas, you can do anything with em. You get soo many feats to improve with archery or whatever you do, so, that's why, I guess.

Whatever Im in the mood for! Really, any class is going to suck in one situation that another is going to excel at. The best class is really just the one that performs best at what the user holds as the most valuable skill. Oh yeah, and Druids PWN.^^

I have so much fun being a Rogue. My character is very useful, but sometimes I screw up. Ah, such fun I've had being a Rogue. I don't think I like any other class half as much. biggrin

Rogue is my favorite character. I just like the stealth and such. But, is it the "best"? Nah, you can't really call any one class the best. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. If I had to call any one class the "best" though, I'd say Bard, just because they're the most "balanced". The aren't the best in any one thing, but they're good in all aspects. But still, I really wouldn't call any class the "best".

I played a cleric as my first character. I like the fact you have access to spells while still being able to hold your own during a fight.

I pick Wizard. You just can't get much past an Archmage. I would have to say that Cleric is a close second though, it's a really versatile class. By using different Gods, domains, chosen weapons and feats you can create widly different clerics, and most can hold thier own in melee as well. I can play any class as a PC though, and have. Each has it's qualities that make it effective. As I've been DMing for a long time, I have an appreciation of all the classes, and a fear of prestige classes gonk

Interviewer: "So what special qualities do you feel you can bring to Smyte Insurance Corp?"
Me: "Well, I can type 140 words per minute, and rage 3 times per day."
Interviewer: "You're hired."
