Well, I've been editing for a while now, but there is one thing I STILL can't do.
Hair. I've tried so many different things with it that I no longer have one way to do it. It comes out looking gross, slimy, chalky, and a multitude of other things. Plus, I can't draw hairstyles to save my life!
So, help me pleasE? crying

Use a one-pixel brush. For everything. Everything.
Don't put shadows between every strand of hair.
Hair comes in chunks that vary in size.
Highlights are painted with vertical strokes, but the strokes form a horizontal band.

Yep yep follow that and also to help get an understanding of what hair is like on avatars study all the different hair styles available on gaia. That will help u gain an understanding of how to paint in the blocks of hair and where best to add highlights and shadows.
