Name: Narayan
Gender: Male
Animal: White Asian Elephant
Hairstyle: Long and layered, It's fuller around his head and hangs in wisps down his shoulders. A little bit longer than shoulder length, sometimes a few sections are braided, giving more it more texture.
HairColour: Pale gray with hints of white, and transparent in the sun. A shade of white and pale gray, it's the kind of hair that can probably darken with age- but not if Narayan has anything to do with it!
Skin color: Slightly darker, but not quite 'gray'. A mix of brown to it, so it comes out in a shade that could be seen on... er... humans? XD Skin that is born lightly tanned? But still sensitive to the sun.
Clothing: As a child... probably shorters, the bermuda kind in a very bright flashy jewel tone, say blue or red? A little vest that appears to be an accesory more than anything else, it's in a matching shade of jewel lined in gold. Flashy! Curling shoes on his feet and a piercing in his left ear. Usually in raw silk, JD has enough taste to try to balance out the jewel tones- say, shorts in dirty gray and a top in pale gray with a flashy of crimson mixed on the borders, and the like.
Personality: As a kid he hasn't developed too much of an arrogant streak yet. A milder tone of what he could become, he is slightly cocky- vain, proud, a little bit on the spoilt side. He's not too in your face though... living with JD has taught him some humility and modesty. (Dangit, that man messes up more times then the town retard!) Extremely generous with no concept of money, he is a little bit of a scatter brain as well. Think a smart ditz, if that makes sense. Living on the concept of 'if he can't do it/remeber it/achieve it, it isn't important', he lives a surprisingly easy life. Sure he angsts about the occasional "wrinkle", but he's carefree... most of the time. XD
Vain but not insecure, smart but a bit of a bimbo, and in good physical shape but lazy, he's quite easy to understand- and much too easy to predict.
Eye color: Black.
Eye style: Large. Cow large, but small enough that they look human. Cute. More innocent then they should be.
Pose: I can see him in... two?
One is sitting down, legs splayed open, one ankle on his other knee. (You know?), leaning back with a cocky expression on his face.
Another one is sitting down, one leg tucked close to his body, the other up, hand on his knee and other hand on his thigh.
Extra:
Qualities that would be fun to see:
Either ivory tusks or an elephant trunk. The trunk might be a little bit excessive, so little ivory tusks that grow larger as he ages. ^^ (Because you just KNOW he'll be making size jokes.)
But of course, everything is up to you! XD mwahahah. Just suggestions.

History of the White Elephant White elephants are endangered, that is... true white elephants are. This quest focuses on the asian elephant. The phrase white elephant means "expensive, though useless, object not easily disposed of", which actually does have traces in history. The Thai king would bestow white elephants to friends and enemies, and because they have no apparant use, the upkeep of the royal pet would slowly drain resources away.
Anyways.
There is no true 'white' elephant. A white elephant is marked on several categories (mentioned below). The first captured one in Thailand was in 1491-- so they've been 'domesticated' for quite a while! XD
Qualities used to judge a white elephant
All a white elephant needs to be called a white elephant happens to be light mottles on the hide. From then on, there is a series of requirements that determine just how white the elephant is. (XD Imagine trying this on humans!)
The amount of lightness and whiteness to the hide, and the tone of other mottled shades. The most common being the usual gray and brown. The palate's color is supposed to be lotus pink, with large cow like eyes rimmed in white and with jet black irises.
For the DCorp, I wanted to incorporate many of the special qualities that mark the white elephant as an almost subspecies.
Toenails are best red (which Narayan will paint!) with a tail whose hair touches the ground and the longer the trunk, the better! Three hours emerging from a single pore is supposed to be a very good sign.
Intelligence is tested as well. Well mannered and gentleness is very good. But normally, it is. ^^ "An intelligent elephant, for example, will run ahead of the pack at bathing time and enter the waters before they are churned and muddied by its older companions. When eating grass, a well-mannered elephant selects choice tufts and elegantly swishes them on either side of its trunk before eating, thus discarding irksome insects. "
Cost of a White Elephant
" Each elephant has two mahouts, one of whom is often many kilometers away in Samut Prakhan gathering choice grasses. An elephant may consume over 300 kilograms of grass in a day, a large 30-kilogram basket of bananas and up to six kilograms of sugar cane. Coconuts are a special treat.
Dietary supplements are equally epic. An experiment with feeding bananas laced with a couple of vitamin and iron pills worked only once before the elephants became aware of the ruse. They promptly rejected -- with remarkable precision -- all further tampered fruits. Unfortunately, the alternative is an annual encounter with a syringe of truly elephantine proportions. On that black day, M.L. Phiphatanachatr is treated as an "uncertain friend," and his collusive charges are quick to trumpet news of his prickly antics. "

the chibi shop has been set up! okay, a while ago. but we're actually getting commissions. We, as in me and Narayan.
I've also signed myself up for commissions at places where they request it, charging 4k a cg. I might increase the price after this load is done-- is it wrong? I don't know... it's either because I honestly think my art is good, or because I don't want to be so patient....
One of these days, I might actually offer Arafel images instead... >.> but when customs are charged at 700k, I doubt my skill is good enough to make up for the difference. XDXD
