just finished this today and it took FOREVER!!!!! im quite pleased with how it turned out...sorry about some clumps of oil pastel, the scanner kinda squished them! haha, but would appreciate any criticism and advice

Wow that is very pretty. She does look a little skinny, but with the type of art it really opens your eyes to look at it from different angles and I think that it is very well done! smile

wow this is a really good art piece i really like the way
the pastels blend in together and it really makes the whole
drawing realistic i can't draw that well myself but i think this
drawing is good

i like it. the only thing thats a bit off to me is the raised arm and the hand.
there is no defintion that it is a hand lol maybe have her raised arm reaching and seeing her thumb would bring out more.
i love the overall feel and use of colors. its awesome

Yay for oil pastels! It would help if you blended the pastels a little more, especially in the background, because as it is the bg is a little distracting. Go over larger areas with one color, like a light blue, and it will make the different colors blend together smoothly without completely mixing them up.
Altogether this is a lovely piece though! The colors are great! mrgreen
