okay i was wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else but on my ruby version i have a tentacool and i tried to realease it and it disappeared like they normally do and said bye tentacool but then it reappeared and said it came back was it worried about you and i tried again to see maybe if it was a one time thing but it keeps coming back has this happened to anyone else or anyone know why im really curious becuase this has never happened to me and my friend also didnt know why and ive never heard of this happening before so if nobody can answer me here im thinking about writing nintendo and asking.

It's Friendship Level is probably real high. That's the only thing I can think of.

Yeah it happens. I tried that. I think it has nothing to do with the friendship level, because I tried releasing all of my pokemon who had high affection levels and only one would come back. [Obviously I wouldn't save after releasing my best pokemon] but anyways, it is probably random which pokemon stays.

Does it know an HM? I'm pretty sure they refuse to be released if they know an HM.

i think i may email nintendo power or something because the tentacool doesnt even like me that much so its not friendship ill look into it some more and try to solve this strange pokemon mystery and report back here with my findings
