With Hunter nearing completion, I've been thinking more about actually running it, and I have decided that it's going to be a straight-up horror campaign.
So, I got to thinking about horror aspects that I could impliment and suddenly I realiozed that not everybody is scared of the same thing. I know this because I am a nice example of this. I am not scared of zombies, ghosts, ghouls, half-human mutations, ect. Dead people just don't get my heart racing like they do for other people.
So, I wanted to know if anybody else was the same.
So what scares you exactly? What seriously get's to you in horror movies/games/stories?
As I said, when it comes to true horror, ghosts and such don't do it for me. Instead, it's creatures; non-human animals. When I was a kid, the movie that scared the ever-loving crap out of me was Carnisaur.
Now, I'm not talking big monsters, but small ones. Mysterious, quiet beasts that lurk in the shadows is what gets to me.
Of course, with everything, there are exceptions.
So, having shared this with you, you can impliment this in future RPs. So now, I'd like you to share with me. What scares you?

I think what get me the most isnt really how a creature looks, but how it appears to you. Take the zombies from Night of the Living dead. They moved fast when they chased, they looked grotesque and their sounds...didnt get me. But if met face to face with that zombie, id probably be scared shitless. It would put up a fight.
Also, demented clowns, with the carnival music. Thats some scary s**t man. Just imagine walking around a deserted carnival, near dusk and all the stuffed animals seem as if they are watching you. The Merry go round starts for no reason, and the music sounds warped, like heat damamged. Just as you get to it a laughter hits the air and you are surrounded by clowns with messed up paint, blood covered overalls and parachute pants, their big a** shoes still with something resembling flesh on them and chainsaws revved. *shudders* that scares me.
I think thats about it when it comes to horror. Take is as you will

The Hosts from Werewolf. Seriously. The very concept behind the things gives me the screamin' willies. Some of the more disturbing creatures creatures in our world (spiders, snakes, rats, ravens, locusts) invade your body and then start consuming it from the inside out, until 'you're' hollowed out and there's thist horrible little creature living inside your shell of a body. And there's nothing you can do to stop them.

Timmy the Tooth... <.<
Reason:
When I was about 5 or 6 I was watching a rented Timmy the Tooth video. When I went to sleep that night, my father turned off thel ights and there was Timmy the Tooth with a knife standing in my doorway. I was scared so bad I started screaming. When my dad came in and turned on the light, he was gone. So now I need a light on at all times when I got to bed. One on each side of me.
Other than Timmy the Tooth, I'd say the evil clowns... That and my brother...

The twitching and moans of the nurses in Silent Hill 3 scared the crap out of me. Seeing your own grusem death and knowing when it's gona happen. Being posesed for some reason and being forced to eat pieces of your own body like biteing off fingers. Bugs with lots of legs crawling in your ears, nose, and mouth. Inanimate objects looking at you while you sleep. Being buried alive with a dead body writtling with maggots. Things crawling out of my toilet while I'm on it. People who can unhinge their jaw like a snake. Reliving your death again and again. Putting your own hand in a blender. Being paralized from the neck down as wolves eat me. Geting stuck in sinking sand.

...Need I say anything?
OH God! Here they come!
*Runs screaming away from a giant shark and a flock of McCaws with bloody talons and beaks.*
Murky or dark water gets me too, and I don't mean the movie. The dark can be pretty scary, normally if things are really quiet and you hear thing, normally they are in the mind, but still. Being alone in a dark place is pretty scary too, like in dark murky water at night or somehting. *shivers*
