((This RP is for anyone in the savannah / jungle area whom is WILLING to travel to nyekundu's oasis. He's looking for older cubs (though younger ones can be cubnapped another time) to bulk up the pride with new and partially capable hunters, watchers and guards. If you are willing feel free to jump in.

Currant rpers / recruits ::

Nyekundu (Syrius)
Malika'Eusi (Nuxaz )
Kichea (kougress) ))

Nyekundu lay on the very edge of the jungle enjoyiing the shade. After his short spat with Afu he had decided to leave of his own accord to try and satisfy her wont for older youngsters to train. He was fine with that and it would give him a couple of days to cool his Jets. She really was infuriating him at the moment he wanted ehr so baddly. Flickering his tail he sighed softly, he knew theer were many orphans about he just had to fond them and convince them. There were many in this area.

Standing the pink tainted lion moved from beneath the shadowey canopy and started a slow trot in to the near by savanah. He was hopeful he would bring Afu back what she wanted and that it would please her enought o let him have his way, at last.

Malika'Eusi was out walking around, thwe young lioness had been doing that much more often lately. She couldn't remember meeting or even seeing anyone, or thing around lately. With her ears flattened against her skull she took slow unsure steps through the forest.

The white feline found the silence un nerving and was back to her habbit of shaking. Taking a deep breath to still her nerves she spotted the pink tainted male. A small grin appeared on her maw as the juve raced over.

"I hope I'm not interupting your thoughts but may I join you on your walk?" Malika asked hopefully looking at him with her purple eyes.

It had been a long day and the young lioness was ready to just relax. Holding her head high and looking for shade, she padded through the savannah. Off in the distance she could see the green shadows of the jungle. Her pace quickened to a slow lope realizing it was not much further. She loved to run like that and feel her heart beat strong.

Suddenly she slowed again. There on the edge, where the savannah met the jungle, she could see an adult lion. Promptly she turned the other direction not wanting to go near him, remembering her encounter with Tanaka who had done anything he could to scare her. She looked back over her shoulder. Maybe he's different... she thought. After all she wouldn't mind having someone to talk to right now, even if he was like Tanaka, she would deal with it. She turned back around and began quickly moving towards the lion before she changed her mind. As she came closer she realized she wasn't the only one looking for company tonight. There was a white and green lioness too. "Mind if I join you both?" She asked as she finally came to a stop near them.

The black ring around Nyekundu's head that was his mane hid for a moment the look in his deep amber eyes. It was good to know that he never had to go far. Settling back in to the shade he looked at the two females, a perfectly decerning smile upon his thick set maw "good day to you both" he manged to hide the some what sadistic smirk that was creeping on to his Maw, would Afu be happy with these two older females? "You are both welcome to join me if you wish" he smiled, in a sickly sweet manner though his looks could hardly be construed as anything but kindnes the large males brain was going a mile a minute while it formulated an idea to recruit these two.

His long white and pink tail lashed, the black tuft flickering as he did so moving like a small waterfall so long was the black fur "Are you both out here alone?" he looked concered, stareing off in to the savannah, no older lions, good, they were probably orphans this would, or should be fairly easy. "A pair of pretty young girls as yourselves must have parents near by whow ould let such beauty roam the savannah alone after all?" He could be a silver tongued devil that was for sure. If theyw ere alone though, oh the joys, he would be able to bring them back to his mate, perhaps she would be pleased enough to allow him his longing wish, perhaps.

The young lioness's purple eyes seemed to light up when he accepted her offer. She was also happy to have another lioness join them. Her small smile had grown bigger when he smiled at the two of them. "Thank you very much sir." She replied softly. This was the first time she hadn't ended up stuttering right after someone replied to her in some form.

Malika looked down at the floor when she heard his question "Actually....yes I am, but now I'm not." Her voice was soft at first then grew slightly louded at the end of her sentence. At his next words though a slight blush appeared obvious on her against her white fur and green markings but it faded quickly. "I never knew my family...."

Kichea smiled softly at the male's kindness. He was a lot nicer than the other males she had met and it would be quite nice to have this pair to keep her company for the time. "Being alone is not that bad now is it?" she said with a smug smile. She had been stricken with horrible feelings of loneliness quiet a few times but she wasn't going to let them know that. It would make her look like a weaker lion than what she actually was. "I've been a rouge my entire life, never living in a pride. My mom was all I had as family and she disappeared some time back without a trace." She looked down at her paws and shrugged shaking her head. It seemed kind of silly to loose your own mother that way. Kichea didn't like to think about it, every time she did it made her feel worthless, like neither of her parents had wanted her.

Quickly shaking it off she looked up and smiled remembering how kind the strangers had seemed. " Anywhere particular you were heading?" She changed the subject hoping to set a better mood, as the other lioness seemed to be feeling a bit out of place too.

((sorry i wasn't on yeasturday folks lion witch and wardrobe ate my brainsicles XD!))

The large male smiled sweetly once again "Oh not too far, I only came to these lands in search of other lions" He paused, looking thoughtful "how strange I suppose I have found a couple Innocence, stupidity, kindness, how easy they were manipulated to his own use. "I live in a place, far away from here where the prey beasts never migrate, wheer the water is so clear you can see all the way to the bottom. It is my home, my pride land" He smiled sweetly looking at the two females before he sighed in a ratehr dramatic fashion "But alas, we are few and are having trouble keeping afloat" This sounded like a good story he should definately store it for later. "Of course, you two ladies don't wish to hear my angsts, lets enjooy our walk shall we?" He gave a soft muuring sound, sweet and kind as he continued to walk, his toes leaving marks in the light soil, he kept decidedly close to the jungles edge, cubs seemed to be drawn to this place, as he was as a youngster, of course he had found MUCH greener pastures. His eyes glimmered, wondering would the females request he continue his story, his tale of woe of this place of fancy of the pride that needed them, or so they would think, the truth was, he wanted them, and they would come he was sure of it, come to his silver tongue.

White ears flattening against her head Malika looked at the other lioness carefully. "Being alone isn't too bad, but when you don't see anyone for a long time it gets unnerving." Malika murmered softly, she didn't want to offend the two in anyway and be left alone again.

"Why would you be looking for other lions?" She asked in a poliet tone determined to atleast try to make friends, or something similar. She cast her eyes to the floor as the three of them walked. "Please tell me, or us if you would like to hear it too..." She said to Kichea before continuing "Your tale...please"

Still trying to hold her pride she didn't reply to the other lionesses comment on being alone. She'd might agree on other terms but after talking about her 'fair weather' mother, she felt differently.

Hearing the lions story she was curious about this place of wonderous beauty and paradise. "No, continue with your story. What happened?" She spoke fully interested in what came next as a young child would be with a fairy tale. " Not like there is anything else to talk about anyway." She softly giggled still watching him and waiting for him to continue as they walked along.

Nyekundu looked to each of the females in turn a sickly sweet smile on his maw. It was much unlike the white and salmon tainted male to smile like this, but he could use some willign allies. "Well you see m'lady's My mate and I we live there, practically alone, though there are a few, young cubs whom we have adopted in place of our own offspring. My lady, my love, my queen,. she does not think she could bear cubs so alas we adopt those in search of a home, a family." He looked down at the two femmes, his deep golden eyes resting upon them both one at a time. of course, it is so hard to care for so many tiny youngsters when there are but two adults, we could use some strong young creatures willing to help. They are so hard to find thopugh" He sighed dramatically, his mind rolled it's eyes, what a heap of rubbish, good gods who knew he could invent such a straneg and magical story "If only I could take a couple of young, able females like yourselves to my oasis, why, I'm sure my pride would be almost complete." He looked shocked at himself "I'm sorry my pretty's you wouldn't be interested you have your own lives after all." He smirked inwardly, the nail in the coffin perhaps? Would they follow him willingly? Would afu be pleased with these new offerings?

Purple eyes darting nervously, Malika seemed to wonder if she should really trust the lion in front of her. The white female with green markings started to chew on her bottom lip slightly. Her tail swung back and forth slowly before it stopped. "Ummm....."

"I....I...." The lioness started to speak but was being to stammer like she did whenever she was nervous. Taking a deep breath she said "A...Although I have my own life I'd rather not live a life of being alone, even though I know there are others around me." She paused "If you don't mind I think I would like to join you."

With the same innocent trust she had been known to have, she fully believed his tale of triumph and woe. Why she still held onto this trust was a mystery itself. It wouldn't be the first time she had been unknowingly deceived.

Her tail swayed slowly as she walked along in full enjoyment of the company and tale. "Not necessarily. Wandering about, just doing enough to live is hardly what I would call a life. From what it sounds I think I'd take pleasure in joining a pride such as yours." Another smug smile appeared on her face as she hoped he would accept her into his pride, "Would you show us your sanctuary?".

((sorry a majillion times over it's took me so long to get to this I really have had alot to do this week working 2 jobs if you guys are definetely up for joining tho would you mind going here

http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=2561141

and just leaving me a small descript of your lions, again, sorry for the slow I have been VERY busy this week I'v hardly had a minuite to mahself.))

Nyekundu seemed to melt at their words "you would really follow me?" his voice sounded honest, truthful, everything it was not. His ears flickered and he smiled ever so sweetly at the two "My ladies it would be an honour to show you my home, it would please me much for you to join my pride" He could have puured, if it were possible. This was so easy. Licking his furry maw he turned to head in to the jungle. "Stay close, we must traverse the jungle and rest on the far outskirts before we tackle the wide desert". He looked back at the two femmes. Yes, Afu would be mightily pleased with him. His golden eyes flickered merrily. He wasn't too unhappy himself, two pretty little females whom, would grow in to beautiful females and they were his. A few days travel, he was certain they would hunt for him even, ah fools, fools taht now belonged to him. His sweet tongue came in handy, that was for sure.

His lids half closed as he entered beneath the dappled canopy, the lights from above dancing on his fur. perhaps this, of all things would finally bring huis mate around to his way of thinking. Afu would not even have to care for their cubs. They had enough slaves to do it for them. If only this offering would at last convince her.

Still trusting to a fault Malika nodded slowly with a small smile on her maw as she replied "I would really like to join you." She watched for his reaction and even though his smile seemed to sweet to the ivory lioness she didn't think much of it. "It would be my honor to join you...." Of course that was where she was going to say his name but since she didn't know it, or atleast couldn't remember it she finished her sentence with "Sir" instead.

She did as he said and kept close but still maintained a good distance. "How many others are in your pride sir, if I may ask thast question.?

Would this be it? Will I finally have a place to call home? The young lioness let a smooth smile pass over her maw as they entered the jungle. After all it she had something to be quite happy about. She had practically been accepted into a pride who's prideland was literally a sanctuary.

The sunlight flickered on her spotted fur as they moved under the thick trees. She looked up and then around them never have really going this far into the jungle. Her mind started to wander about as they walked and then suddenly she looked back into the direction they were walking. "I don't think I caught either one of your names. I go by Kichea." Her voice was soft and flowed with the excitement that filled her mind.
