Character descriptions:
Nyekundu :: (owned by syrius Lionwing) An Overly ambitious male whom believes that all females are scum and should bow down to him. He has a slight (cough) temper problem and when too perturbed or unhappy he will turn to unstoppable violence and even some psychotic tendencies. He likes to kill things and break others spirits. However he can be a very smooth talking male, he is strong willed and brave if a little fool hardy at times. He is not however stupid, though he sometimes leaps before he looks he is far from an idiot, he knows his limitations. He is a ruler whom wont take no for an answer and wont hesitate to bring infidels to justice via his claws.
Now without a queen the ambitious king continues to recruit youngsters in to his midst. He has returned to his womanising ways taking any female that he fancies.
Afriti'Dogo :: (owned by syrius lionwing) A stubborn rather snotty little princess with dreams of grandure. Her father refuses to name her his heir but she won't let that stop her. Even as a cub she desires knowlege and power lording it over her few slaves.Perhaps one day her dreams will come true and she will rule the oasis, though at the moment she is far too young to even contemplate such things

Angamika ::(owned by Kel-chan) Many lions are confused as to whether Ika is really a male at all. He will never grow a mane (ie will probably stop growing at adol stage), and is dainty in his movements, soft-toned in his speech. He loves to speak in a completely enigmatic way, so the one asking the question is not quite sure just what answer they just received...
He likes to think of himself as a scholar, and pretends mightily that the old writings speak to him and can tell him the future, enjoying the prestige this gives him; after all, he looks the part, and who is to know the difference?
He is completely careless of whether someone is good or evil; he thinks mainly for himself, but does not mind others idolising him. He tolerates most people by ignoring them, as long as they do not take offense or become angry at him; he is perpetually smiling and speaking lightly, with a laugh, but always with his silver eyes hooded, unable to see their true expression.
((When Nyekendu and Afu find the ruins and plan to make a pride with stolen cubs, Ika at first watches them from the shadow of the ruins but eventually appears, and states that he does not care that they have entered his place, that they can have it for all he cares. And of course, you can be the king and queen! He does not care, and is perhaps seen as just another cub with which to swell the numbers? Though eventually he ends up with his own sort of rank among the innocent young ones that have been brought to the place by Afu and Nyek.))
Mrost :: (owned by Baneful)The god of war and a lion who likes to have a paw in whatever chaos that comes to pass in the land, though of course only if said chaos has the possibility of leading to an out and out war. Mrost is a sadistic, vicious and conceited lion who beleives that every creature is fair game ot be a pawn in his convoluted schemes. He is not excessively skilled at illusions and mainly stays concealed as a normal male lion of the same colouration of his god-form. He joined the pride on discovering Nyek, making the decision that this pride of all the ones he had encountered thus far, had the capacity for causing bedlam in the lands. No one is really sure what he's after or what he gets from helping out.
Moses :: (owned by LightningshadowX) Moses is unlike any other cubs, no playful curiousity nor happiness seems to be within him and he has a tendancy to be very sado-masochistic even for being so young.
He followed Nyekundu willingly back to the pride and is quite loyal to the King of the Oasis.
However, he has a mysterious aura about him and dosen't like to talk about his family much.
There may be more to this boy then there appears.
Rukiya :: (owned by Artsy)Rukiya is somewhat of a strange sort of individual. Having traveled by paw to the southlands, she claims that she is some sort of 'princess' and demands everyone she meets treat her as such. If they manage not to, they are therefore 'blacklisted' in her mind, which, in other terms, means ignored, forgotten, and treated as if they didn't exactly exist. Because of this trait, it is extremely difficult for this flamingo pink female to even begin to find any friends and persons to speak with.
Of course this is often her persona downfall, considering that it's impossible to really get to know, love, or rather even like this "pink princess".
In all actuality, Rukiya is nothing short of a fraud with a snobby, stuck up attitude, running along unsupervised while her parents remain unknown, despite that she claims that they are supposedly traveling. However it is unlikely that they will ever meet again, since she remains now under Nyekundu's watch.
Dhamisa :: (owned By baneful)A quiet, refined princess of the elephant graveyard, she is just like her father in terms of grace and temper, however when she is in the precence of Nyekundu and the others, she appears nothing short of docile, supressing her inherent arrogant streak in favour of self-preservation. However, unlike her father, she watches and listens, learning from others.
Toshiro :: (owned by Andrani) Originally the heir to the dark half of the Maziko pride, a run-in with Mrost's brother set his mind into unease. Feeling like he had no place in the Graveyard, he willingly followed Nyekundu and forsook the title given to him for a life he feels will be far more ideal than picking at the bones of the decaying.
Malika'Eusi :: (owned by Nuxas) Shy at first and trusting to a fault are the words that describe Malika the best. She doesn't know many others so she has no real experience at being tricked or decieved. She believes that there is no reason to distrust someone without a good reason, which she so far has not with anyone.
Living without knowing her family has left her innocente and extremely trusting, but she also lives in fear of being abandoned or disliked. When she feels that way she beings to stutter. When she met Nyek she couldn't help but trust him. She only hopes that she will be in a permant home

Koka :: (owned by Kolina)
Koka is a stubborn, prissy, malevolent princess of the Firekin. She isn't one to just back down, in fact, Koka has picked several fights with lions whom she had no chance of winning against. Both were much older than herself, thus much bigger but she cared not. Oh no, nothing scared her. Koka lives only for herself. She wants power and strength and will do anything to get it.
She was born to the King and unknowingly from Finar-si who goes by the alias Karama. This fiery little female has quite a crafty mind and isn't afraid to put it to good use, like planning the deaths of her older siblings so she can take the throne. She feels that -she- is the rightful heir. The only one strong enough to lead a pride such as the Firekin and Koka will not allow her peaceful-going brother to rule for very long.
Koka ran into Hakan, Mrosts mortal follower one day in the sands. He told her of the power that Mrost held and this perked Koka's curiosity but she would not ally herself with a God she wasn't even sure existed. So not long after that meeting Koka was affronted by Mrost whom she gave her alliegance to. At the moment Koka is biding her time within the Firekin pride but she is eagerly awaiting the time she gets to leave and help out the God whom she pledged herself to.

History of the pride :: Nyekundu was born in the ngorogo crator. Like any other cub he was sweet and happy but as time went by Nyekundu heard tales of kings and queens of owning lands and being your own ruler. He spoke to his mother (Rahima) about this and she told him that he could not be the king of the crator. Nyekundu was furious he was the first male born there why not? She told him he would find grater lands nyekundu accepted this though he still beelived that he should have been able to rule the crator. Upon reaching juvenile he left the crator, hearing stories along the way. He ultimately decided that he would travel to a land where there were always prey beasts that he could rule with an iron fist, that he could own and have slaves beneath him. After a time, Nyekundu made his way towards the green jungles. He had longed to claim the place as his own but he had heard of a far grater place, an oasis across white sands where the beasts would never migrate a place of humans a place where no lion could follow unless they were lead. He decided to find this place. On his journey to the jungle though he came upon Afu, together they decided to become the rulers of this mythical land. Through the jungles, over a black revine they came to the white sands. The direction was unclear even to the salmon male and he worried incase they would never find it. Luck came upon him though in the form of a god, a chaotic creature whom fed off of Nyekundus ambition to rule everything if he could get his claws in to it. Mrost led Nyekundu and Afu across the sands to the huge secret oasis. An old mans paradise where the buildings had long since crumbled. Here they would make their home and start their empire.
