following immediately after gameboard date?

When he popped back out into the city with Aiolos still in his arms, he breathed a sigh of relief. “Okay, we’re back.” Looking around, he saw one of the benches nearby with the treeline blocking it slightly from view.

Going slow, he pulled her along and urged her to sit as he pulled his coat off to put over her shoulders. With just his vest and shirt on, he was shivering more, but he was worried about her. Fumbling slightly and pulling the small first aid kit out, he sat on the bench next to her and worked on pulling things out before getting the canteen from his subspace and the small towel he had to try and help clean her off if he could.

His teeth chattered as he worked, looking down as he focused on trying to get things out for a moment.

—---------------------------

Something in her felt more…Relaxed whenever Okenite hugged her. Felt like…Home? She wasn't sure how to process that, but maybe she will eventually. Nodding with a slightly pained smile, she followed her companion to the bench that he spotted, working her way out of the top of her dress that was sadly ruined. It would repair itself the next time she powered up, but for now, wearing the top part was only irritating the burn and itch she had there. Aiolos realized that Okenite was still shivering, so she wrapped her arms around him while he was searching through his first aid kit, trying to give him some of her warmth.

—------------------------------------

Seeing fabric move out of the corner of his eye, he managed to look up as Aiolos hugged him, and he immediately noticed the missing top. “O-oh.” Dropping the canteen, he tried to look anywhere else for a moment, even as he tried to think about what to do. This wouldn’t be good if someone walked by; he didn’t even want to try beginning to figure out how to explain someone topless out in public in weather like this.

“Aiolos… uh… It’s not good to be without a shirt or top, maybe pull my jacket a bit more around you in case someone comes by.” It was awkward, yes, but at this point, he knew she didn’t really understand all that, and this wasn’t exactly the time to give that sort of lesson. First thing was first, though, he had to figure out how to clean things off and so he had to lean down and grab the canteen.

“Here, we’ll use this to wipe some of that off, okay?” Miming what she was supposed to do with the towel, he then put some water on it from the canteen and handed it over. “I’ll put some medicine on it after, okay?”

—-----------------------------

It wasn't good to take off her top? It had that snake stuff on it…Pulling away, she tilted her head to the side curiously, “But…Snake stuff…I-It's on the…Top, can't wear.” Her eyes followed the movements he made with the towel, and she grabbed it from him, proceeding to wipe down her chest, wincing at the burning. “I was trying…T-To give you warm? Is cold.” Once she finished with the towel, she handed it over then waited for the medicine. “Not that cold…Is Okenite….I-I mean, are YOU cold sensitive? Feels nice to me.” She kept her head tilted, then decided that it would be best to wait before wrapping herself around him again.

She used the wet towel to clean off what she could on the top of her dress, clearly comfortable with her state of dress. “Medicine now?” she presented her chest rather…Proudly? No, just to make sure he could get the entire area….Maybe.

—---------------------------------------

“Wear my coat after that? Okay? It’s not good to be without a top outside.” He sighed slightly, trying not to blush as he looked just a bit to make sure she was doing things right. He offered the medicine and motioned for her to do the same thing.

“Just a bit of that should work for now, then hopefully it will be okay in the morning…” He wasn’t sure how bad it would be, but since she seemed more like herself after all the craziness of things, he was at least a bit relieved.

Perking up just slightly, looking at her and fully feeling his face warm up as she just showed off right in front of him. “Oh… I uh…” Words seemed to stop as he looked down, and a quick thought did pass his mind about them dating.

“Something bit me, I’m very cold, but I’m not usually this cold.” He said as he shivered more, curling in on himself a bit.

—-------------------

She didn't hesitate to take the medicine, placing it on her skin in the same way that Okenite told her to, feeling slightly disappointed for some odd reason. Aiolos couldn't help the frown and pout that appeared on her face, taking the jacket offered and leaving it open, scooting closer and pulling him into her embrace while wrapping the flaps of the jacket around them both. Resting her chin on his shoulder, Aiolos tried to turn her pout into a smile.

“I-I'll keep you warm~ U-Ummmn…” she brought her gaze down, with a blush. Maybe…..Maybe she could….Maybe she SHOULD…..Do…What?

—-------------------------------------------

Noticing the frown for a moment, he was a bit confused. After all things had to have been different there on Aiolos, so maybe it wasn’t as big of a deal, but still… Now she was so close, and maybe it did help a bit with the cold, or that might just have been his face warming up too.

“O-oh, thank you, Aiolos.” Well, at least with his coat around them, the fact that she was topless wouldn’t be apparent to anyone who might walk by. Moving just a bit, he wrapped his arms around her as well.

“I am glad you’re okay. I don’t want to see you get hurt.” Though it was starting to get complicated, the more often they met. If she were on the same side, maybe it would be easier. But from what he’d heard from Laven, it wasn’t a good experience, nor had his introduction to all this been with a hand in his chest. That just meant he had to get better at all this, so he could do something more to make sure she didn’t get hurt. Maybe it was more work than he’d intended when he’d joined up, but he couldn’t help but feel angry that he hadn’t been able to help at all in that gameboard.
