Today was a day that Aiolos was lucky enough to meet up with Okenite, who promised that he would teach her some new words as well as beginning her reading lessons! The thought caused her so much happiness that she was practically chirping and singing while they were on their way to the spot they would settle at, chatting about all the shinnies and food that she had aquired. "U-Ummmn! A-Aiolos----I-I had hot flower? Made friend! F-Ferrrr onnn eeeea?" She pointed to her headwings, "Had...The fluff! No wing! Nice!" She practically beamed, fishing in her basket to show him the flower she had accidentally nommed, "Not nom nom...Hot. Dont like..." the color was pretty though, which is why she kept it around...That and the fact that it reminded her of her new friend that she hopped to meet soon.
"O-Oh! More friend! K-Kemi!" She poiinted to her headwings, "Same as Aiolos! but..." She turned and grabbed her tail, "Not like Aiolos here...Kemi fluffy." That reminded her of something, "O-Okenite...What phone? What is Mauuuuveeeaaan? Kemi said Aiolos---I should have?" She was very confused but if anything she hoped her....Good friend? Mate interest? Favorite person? Should have some answers. Oh! There was something sparkling in the bush and not thinking much of it, the small senshi quickly ran to the bush to pick up what was calling her.
A dice?
Turning to the agent, she held the die up with gusto. "Look! Shiny! E-Erm! Dice?! Im keep!" she could add it to her growing collection of things at her room! Maybe she could show one of the Bells too!

With midterms out of the way and more free time now that he'd found out he didn't have to touch people to drain, Okenite was glad to have time to keep his promise to Aiolos. While her speech was still sort of broken, at this point, he felt like he understood things more often than not. Unfortunately, that meant as she explained what seemed like other animal-like senshi, he found himself slightly worried that it could lead to one or more of them showing up due to his position as a captain. But he kept that to himself and nodded, interjecting only to repeat some of the names without the spread-out bits. "So Feronia has fluff up top, and oh, that's Nasturtium, I believe." Pointing to the red-petaled flower. It was also one that many birds avoided, so he was fairly sure it would have done the same thing to Aiolos. They were pretty, though even if the birds he liked so much avoided them. "Oh? So a fluffy tail?" And with a name like Kemi, he had an idea that one was male and the other was female. Then the question about a phone and mauvian, things he wasn't sure about but knew they were related to how things worked on the opposite side. "Well humans have phones, they use them to call each other from far away. As for a mauvian... they're little creatures that look like cats. I was told they're good with technology here." Thinking on it, not sure that she knew what the word meant, he pulled out his iPod. But by then, she was calling from over by the bushes, and he saw her holding a dice before she vanished. Standing up, he hurried over and looked around for her. "Aiolos?!" But even as he moved the bushes, there wasn't a sign of her. Just another dice, this one clear as ice. Picking it up, everything shifted, and he tensed up, wondering what would happen next.

Quote: Space 1:You feel eyes upon you, and hear a faint chuckling, like you’re the butt of someone’s joke. It sets a bad mood for the rest of this game; you’re already being judged–and, it looks like a long road ahead.
There was panic the moment her world shifted and straight up disappeared from her view. With a shocked chirp, Aiolos dropped the new shiny die she had, and a single dot faced her on the space just ahead of her. With confusion and more than a little fear, the senshi moved forward, reaching to pick up the dice. As soon as she did, the hairs on her neck stood up as shivers went down her spine. She could feel...Something or someone staring at her, but she couldn't find them no matter where she turned. A frown marred her face while she tried to speak up, to say something to deter the person or thing looking at her but all she could do was trill with alarm.
The laughing continued and all Aiolos could do was hold her arm and look down at the ground in shame. She was trying her best and it seemed like all anyone wanted to do was pacify her or keep her dumb...Why else would these people laugh at her? "S-Stop...Please. Not funny."

With how quickly things seemed to separate them, Okenite rolled the die and hoped it would get him to her. Taking the moment he had while he was in her square, he placed a hand on her shoulder. "You're okay, Aiolos, we can figure this thing out. Just roll the dice, and we can get through it okay?" Showing her the cube before he got pushed further ahead, he tried to reach out, but an invisible wall kept them separated. Before he really registered a sound, he felt something shoot past his outstretched hand and slice the side of it. Yanking it back, he held his hand to his chest as he looked down at it. The cut wasn't deep, but it stung, and he looked around to see where it had come from. A thrum of panic went through him at the fact that he couldn't see where or when the next attack might come. But with Aiolos looking out of sorts already, he tried to tamp it down as he looked back. "Please be careful! Something doesn't seem right here. I can't get back to you!" Quote: Space 6: You hear a shrill, humming noise; it sounds almost like something is firing past you–and sometimes, you even feel a sharp burst of air, like something has just missed you. Maybe, even, it does get a slice out of you. Sharp, bladelike threads seem to string up around you; you’d best be careful not to get cut on any of them between now and your next dice roll.

Quote: Space 2:Something pale and ghostly slams into your back; you don’t see it, but it feels like it’s trying to push you forward–or to the side, or off the path. Thankfully, the magical glass walls stop you from going too far, but this is jarring–and might hurt.
There was a temporary bit of relief when Aiolos saw okenite appear beside her, already relaxing at his words. That moment was short lived however, since Okenite was quickly swept forward and from her, she reached out with a whimper, then followed his instructions and reached out for the die in front of her. She scrunched her eyes shut, and tossed the die like it was trying to bite her, popping an eye open when the invisible wall removed itself. She stepped into the square, and the invisible wall seemed to seal itself behind her. At first, she thought she was maybe in a safe square...But then something hit her back so hard she was slammed into the invisible wall in front of her. There was a high pitched yowl of pain that came from her before it came at her again, trying to push her out. "S-Stop! Hurt! Please!" she was already crying, moving out of the way when she felt the presence at her back once more.

Already, he was moving further ahead and farther from Aiolos and each square he moved made it harder to see what was going on. The gap was growing wider now as he fell backwards into the newest square he'd been pushed to. It smelled like the ocean, like the beach he'd gone to when he was young, where the puffins would nest. The sound of Aiolos further off twisted something in his stomach, but even as he tried to get up and push against the barrier, it didn't give. "It'll be okay! I'm still here, and after we get out, I can help make sure you're okay! It's just magic, it can't hurt us badly!" At least he hoped it wouldn't, considering it didn't seem like anything he'd been hit with before. But no sooner had he said that, he heard a song that pulled him back and away from the edge. It curled around him and drew him in as the sea came up to greet him. This had happened before, when he'd climbed up to get a better view of the migrating birds, but this time, even as he closed his mouth not to swallow water, he felt his lungs start to fill. Screaming wasn't an option; he knew that it would only scare her more. So he scrambled for the dice and tried to roll it before this all got worse. Quote: Space 9: The smell of saltwater fills the air, and you can hear the water lapping against the shore. You hear boards creaking, and bells in the distance. And then, a song. Haunting. Ghostly, and calling you. For a second, you fall in love. And then, water fills your lungs. You’re choking, you can’t breathe. The song is loud and seems to caress you, even as a wet chill gathers in your square. Scaly hands reach for you, you gently caressing, and try to lure you into an endless sleep

Quote: Space 4:Something smells rotten. You can’t see very far into the darkness, but if you squint closely a dark form seems to be dragging itself along the ground. Sometimes you see a pale hand almost close enough to grab you–or, maybe something does grab you. It’s cold, and frightening, and it’s trying to drag you out of bounds. The next space Aiolos found herself in (thank good she wasn't being pushed around anymore), she had to cover her mouth to keep from inhaling the horrid stench that was in here. Hearing Okenite's voice helped calmed her somewhat, but she was still on edge, uncovering her mouth to speak.
“S-Scared! I-I want to go home! A-Aaaaaahhhh!”
There was an outright squwak that came from her mouth at the hand that was touching her, it's cold grasp chilled her to the bone as it started pulling her towards the wall. “N-No! O-Okenite!” She squawked and felt her headwings flapping furiously, as if they could help her. He said they couldn't do too much harm to them but she wasn't so sure about that.

With the dice rolling, he felt the water fade away, and he gasped to try and catch his breath as he rested his hands on his knees and hunched forward. It didn't give him much time to actually recover before he heard Aiolos squawk and then pushed him further ahead. Looking back, he was about to call out when something collided with the back of his head, then more somethings ended up swooping down. Bats?! Oh, this wasn't good. Didn't they have rabies? And as each one kept trying to get at him, he felt a chill going through him. Calling on his spear, he cringed as he swung it and got a few of them back for things. It felt good to get back at them, and he found himself shocked for a moment as he remembered to look back towards Aiolos. "It's okay! Keep going, we can make it."Quote: Space 15: Bats. Maybe you missed them attacking earlier, but they’re back again, and angrier than ever. Instead of just screeching or scratching, they’re swooping down and biting now–and the effects are instantaneous. The little teeth are sharp and painful, but once bitten you might feel agitated and prone to violence, and you might feel perpetually cold and hungry with no relief in sight. The effects might last when you leave the square–or they might linger for a few hours or days after you get out of here.

Quote: Space 7: Something is twitching and flapping above you, and while you might be minding your own business, something is a little too invested in what you’re doing. You can’t see them, but you suddenly hear shrill, high pierced noises that are disorienting and confusing. They can bring about dizziness and pain and can cause vertigo if you’re stuck in them for too long. In her panic to escape the thing trying to drag her to what she could only assume would be her upcoming death, Aiolos threw her die at the invisible wall, practically running to the next square as soon as the thing pulling her back let go. Okay?! OKAY!??!?! This was SO not okay! She wanted to squawk her indignities out at the poor man before her, completely jealous and angry due to the fact that he has longer legs than her. Once inside of the square, Aiolos stomped her feet, "No! Not okay Okenite! This is...B-Bad! Mean!" Aiolos whimpered, her head wings trying to cover her eyes as if to shield them.
Then she heard something twitching and flapping above her while she was busy being scared and angry, which is why she didn't bother looking up when she heard the noise, thinking it would go away...Until she heard the first high-pitched noise, which caused her to scream and cover her ears, squatting down on the floor. Even with her ears covered, the pitch was high and deafening.

Wincing as he heard the screams, he botched his roll, only getting pushed one space further ahead. Even with that, he tried to push back against the barrier to try getting back, but it neither bent nor gave an inch to his efforts. "I know it's bad, mean even, but keep tryi-" his words cut off as he felt the ground shift beneath him, a yelp coming out as he felt the cold water swallowing him up. Again and again, it was cold or water coming after him, and he was getting frustrated by it. Clawing at the ice, using his spear to help get him back above the water, he cursed at how cold he was. His teeth chattered as he clung to the ice and tried to throw that blasted dice again. Quote: Space 16: As you step into your square, something cracks. At first, you can’t tell what it is, but as your full weight moves onto the square, the ground shifts beneath you. It’s cold, and it’s ice, and a hole falls underneath you, plunging you into frigid waters. There’s enough floating ice that you should still be able to roll the dice to get out of here, but you have to go quickly–you’re soaked, in chilly water, and something just swam by your feet.

Quote: Space 8: Something slithers across your foot, so fast that you might have thought you imagined it. Except, a few seconds later, it happens again. And then, again. Snakes keep moving across your space. If you move, they see you–and they might bite. Some of them hiss, some are capable of spraying a poisonous liquid that can cause itchiness or burning. No longer able to take the screaming from above, Aiolos threw her die again, running into the next space with her eyes closed. Just when she thought she was safe, she swore she felt something slithering across her chest. The small woman dismissed it at first, thinking if she didn't acknowledge it then it wouldn't be true. However, she heard hissing and her eyes flew open, holding back a scream of terror when she realized she was covered in snakes. She learned about the slithery creatures through YouTube and simply found them terrifying.
Shaking, she tossed the die again, whimpering when it hit one of the snakes on the head, incurring a hiss.

With one last roll of the die, he crossed over into another square and was surprised that instead of anything else coming to get him, there was just a bright light. The cold still shivered through him, but now he could focus back on Aiolos.
"I made it to the end, come on, you can do it, I'm right here!" Calling out, he tried to encourage her a bit more as he held himself and tried to warm up.

[ Rolls are doubled after the 5th, so 3 = 6 ] Quote: Space 14: The ground is sticky. You land on this and immediately dip, as though you’ve stepped on a trampoline. Close inspection reveals that you are standing on an intricately woven web–and your shoes are stuck. And something is skittering just on the horizon. Making it out of the lair of the snakes and leaped when one spat out something and it landed on the front of her dress. She didn't think nothing of it, about to move three spaces when there was a strong gust of wind that pushed her forward three more spaces. Nope, she wasn't going to complain about this...Except for the fact that she was now standing in some sticky stuff? Aiolos looked down, about to poke at the webbing when she heard the skittering of feet....Oh no. She started trying to run, falling over and loosening the grip on her die, about to scream as she heard the skittering getting closer. To top it off, her chest was burning and itching! it was also wet....
"O-Okenite! HELP! STICKY!" she wept when the die finally landed on another three, the sticky webbing releasing her while the wind blew her an additional three spaces, not even giving her the chance to stand up.

Sticky? Had he heard that right? At least now he could sort of see her a bit more easily, especially as she tumbled forward. Nothing looked like it was coming after this this time, which was a relief.
"You're almost here! Just a bit more, you're okay, then we can get out of here!" He was sure he could manage a bit of help with the small first aid kit he had, as long as he could stop shivering long enough to manage to do something. At least now that nothing was attacking him, that simmering anger beneath the surface seemed to be dying down.

[ Rolls are doubled after the 5th, so 3 = 6 ] Quote: Space 20: The end; once you have arrived here you are free to leave. You will see be basked in the glow of a beautiful, opalescent aura that will take you back home. If you arrived with a guest, you can leave without them or choose to stay until they make it to the end as well. When you arrive back in Destiny City, you may choose to keep the six sided die–if nothing else, it’s pretty! Though, it doesn’t seem to have any magical qualities, that might be for the best. It didn't matter that she was almost there?! Why couldn't he come help?
She didn't realize she was at the end of the board till she stood up and was right beside a shivering Okenite. A blink, and then she was looking up at him with watery eyes, instantly wrapping her arms around his waist! "N-No more please! I'm sorry!" she hugged him a bit longer, not caring if he was wet, but her chest was starting to bother her. "U-Ummmn....Help?" she wasn't sure if her powers would work on herself so she didn't want to chance it. Pulling away just a tad, she pointed to the center of her chest where the burning and itching was coming from. "Heal please? It b-burns..."
