Addy didn't think to look at the clock when the call came in. Didn't think to fix her hair or change. Long hair go tossed into a messy bun so it would be out of her eyes. The tank top and booty shorts patterned with raccoons roasting marshmallows she had been sleeping in were covered at the last minute by a hoodie. Trainers got slipped onto sockless feet. The woman was on a mission and was out the door with her keys, wallet, phone, and a soft blanket from her couch within five minutes. After a brief pit stop at 7/11 for some alien approved treats, Addy sped down the mostly empty streets of Destiny City in uncharacteristic silence. Usually her car was full of music and mirth but there hadn't been time in her mind to even connect the bluetooth.
A short while later, she knocked on the hospital room door before opening it to Fin on a hospital bed clearly not made for Slenderman as it was far too short. Her brows pinched together as she held in a laugh and closed the door behind her. A sigh of relief made her chest rise and fall. He didn't look great by any stretch of the imagination, but he could have looked much, much worse.
The bag of treats got deposited on his bedside table for his perusal when he was up to it and she shook the blanket out to spread it over him. Hospital blankets always sucked.
"So. Space skeletons then?" she questioned gently as she arranged the blanket as best she could around him. It too was not crafted with freakishly tall E.T.s in mind.
