Sara felt that it was a dream come true to have a cat eat with him in his own home. However, eating with Yami had always been a huge joy in life that he was grateful for having. Eating with Yami and Salami was nice but ... he found himself missing the times where it was just them at the table, uninterrupted and generally alone. After ensuring that the bags were safely tucked away in the house, and Salami had their luxurious dinner ( for a cat ), he was delighted when they went downtown to find a place to eat. The streets were a little busy at this time of night. A crowd that usually made the man tense, if it weren't for his fiancee walking next to them. Automatically anchoring them to feel a lot safer, and comfortable.

Sara took a while to think on the question Ginyami gave, looking around until his eyes caught something... unfamiliar. It was so... bright. If Sara hadn't stared for a few seconds, he would've thought it was a toy store for children. He thought about it for a moment, but remembered it was his turn to choose the place they eat at... so..

Sara stepped closer to Ginyami, gently pointing to the brightly coloured diner called Teddybear's Picnic. " Would... that place be okay for tonight? Im .. curious what sort of food they sell there.." he looked at his partner for input. Knowing he didnt need to remind Yami that if he didn't want the place, he could just say so. Its the wonders of investing 8-9 years into getting a chronically anxious people pleaser to trust you.

He let out a sheepish, almost shy smile when Ginyami mentioned about being surprised that he picked this restaurant. He knew him so well

" Well… it's not a circus tent at least…" he jested a little shyly, his thumb carassing the back of Ginyami's as if to assure good faith. He was never the best with jokes after all. Even if he knew the other would be the only one to know the inside joke. When once upon a time, Ginyami had been going through a rough path in their life enough to sign them up to stay in a brightly coloured and bold circus tent as their stay during summer camp. That was… some time ago, hasn't it? They've moved on past that even when it took years. Still, looking back even some of the more bittersweet memories ended up leaving him with a much more fonder look. Reminisincing how far they've come. Because if it weren't for all that happened up to that point, would they have been as happy as they are now? Engaged and living in a new country to start anew?

When entering the place though, it seemed to give the same feeling he had when he entered that circus tent themed camp restplace. He did his best to hide how .. put off he was. Perhaps this was a mistake? What had urged him to even come here in the first place? Still… he didn't really want to look indecisive in front of Ginyami, so he figured he could bet on the food.

"Excuse me…" he would try to call out to anyone that seemed like an employee. " Is there maybe.. table for two?"
