Out and about, Chillingham had that same pep in her step as she explored and wandered among some of the fountains in the area. It wasn't something she would do while powered up normally, but this was for homework, which meant she wanted to use it as an excuse to get more time to be out and about with her pumpkin lantern.
Pulling out her phone, she took pictures with the camera app of the first few and marked off the ones on the list from her homework. It was one of those freshman classes where they made you explore the city and get used to the community service groups and things. She was more than happy to help when it came to community events, but running around taking pictures of the buildings felt kind of boring aside from getting to explore.
Tucking her phone away, she perked up when she felt like another order member was close by. Turning around, she stood on her tiptoes and looked for the new whoever they were. Maybe they would be from outer space like Tyanyi?

Blarney needed to get out of his own head. They were swimming with all kinds of ideas - good ideas, mostly, he was pretty sure - but they were making him crazy, because he wanted to do all the things, right now, this second, immediately if not sooner. And he couldn't, because of important, valid, safety-concern related reasons. Good things took time, he told himself, and they had the time to use, but... But he wanted it nooooooooow. That was Mason - not Blarney. He was a tiny bit more patient when he was powered up, or maybe he was just focused on other things. Either way, it was a break from the bouncing ball that was his brain against his skull. Especially when he got a little ping on his radar - a good guy ping, which was a nice change of pace from his recent adventures. Hopefully they were an actual good guy, and not like that good guy that had scratched his face with her pen a while back... But most good guys were, in fact, actually good, so he decided to make his way toward the ping, peering through the street for its source. Finally, he settled on a sight that could only be explained by magic - and a Knight, too, though he couldn't tell where they might be from at this distance. Still, it felt good to be able to recognize one of his own, even from afar - like maybe he was learning things after all, with all his questions and confusion. "Hey there," Blarney called, waving his stick slightly to get her attention. "All good over here?" Blarney asked, glancing around surreptitiously to make sure there wasn't a youma or a bad guy lurking around waiting to eat them or take their starseeds or both.

Oh! Floral! That was new! Smiling a bit more as she waved her lantern back in response, she popped over in a few excited steps and looked over his cool outfit. "Oh! Yes, all good." With a little nod, she offered her hand. "Hello! Are you another super cool, magical hero? I'm Chillingham!" Maybe she was a little close, but it was great to have something else to do besides take photos of fountains and look for bad guys to tackle and send home. "It's been quiet out tonight, just looking around, are you from around here?" They looked human at least, unless the flowers were part of them somehow, but she wasn't sure if that would be rude to ask or not.

A super cool magical hero? Blarney couldn't help the grin on his face as he straightened up a little taller as he shook her hand. Yes, yes he was a super cool magical hero, thank you for asking. "I don't know about all that," Blarney said, in a way that meant he did in fact know about all that, "but it's nice to meet you, Chillingham. I'm Blarney," he said, looking her up and down. Lots of purple. "I'm a Knight of Earth, yeah." He pondered the symbols that dotted her outfit a moment, knowing he'd memorized the shape. It looked like an H, but it wasn't an H, crossed with a T, but there were no planets that started with an H or a T, no planets that even had an H in them except Earth, and Blarney knew Earth's symbol wasn't that. It was like it was saying thhh, but wasn't--it was saying shhh, because it was-- "Saturn, right?" Blarney snapped his fingers as he put it into place. He'd have them memorized properly someday, but in the meantime he'd make do with mnemonic devices. "Cool...is that a jackolantern?" Blarney asked, tilting his head slightly. "That's awesome!"

"Ohhh Earth! Wait, how's that work?" Wasn't this Earth so like, where would his magically awesome place be then? But that thought was tucked away for later when he corrected guess where her spooky place was. "Yes! Saturn, my brother, and are both have places there, though what's your super cool place like? Is it a castle? Or like a cool mansion or something?" Running off her questions as she bounced excitedly, she then nodded at his question and held up her lantern for him to see. It flickered and glowed as always, just as spooky all year round. "Yes! It's great for seeing stuff, too, sometimes in the dark."

Blarney laughed in spite of himself - was this what he sounded like when he pelted people with questions? No, he probably sounded worse, honestly. "It's a castle!" Blarney was happy to report, though his smile faded slightly as he amended, "Or, like, sort of. It was a castle. It might be a castle again someday, maybe. Right now it's mostly just...a few walls and half a staircase," he admitted with a sheepish smile. "That's so cool that you and your brother are both--I mean, I guess that makes sense," he said, realizing how silly it sounded to say that siblings were 'from the same place'. Of course they were, how could they be anything else? "Are both magic, I mean. That's awesome. Did you guys both awaken at the same time, or...?" He wasn't quite sure what made him ask the question - he and Mads were twins. If she was going to be magical, she would've been magical first - or at least, she would've been magic already, right? But maybe...if siblings could awaken at different times...?

Chillingham's eyes widened, and she let out an excited little shriek. "A castle?!!!! Even if it's knackered up, that's still amazing!" It sounded like some of the places she's seen on holiday, but if they were actually magical, then she might have had more interest. "Oh! Well... no, we didn't." Frowning slightly for a moment since she'd had to deal with the extra nagging from Freddy about schoolwork and not getting into trouble before he'd gotten the same sort of magic she had. "He's new at it, but I've been muckin' about for a while." Puffing up proudly at the fact that she had been at this for almost a year now. "Maybe if you want, you can meet him soon? I don't know a lot of other magical people, knights Isaiah says, but I've seen a lot in passing!"

"I'd love to meet him!" Blarney said with a grin. "I'm trying to meet all the magical people I can, make all the connections, learn all the things--make it so that we can all learn from each other and not be so - isolated, y'know? I feel like it's super easy to feel super siloed unless you get lucky and have a sibling or a friend or someone who like - knows the ropes already, right? I got saved before I awoke and then that person was able to help me learn how to...you know, not die. So far, anyway," he added with a nervous laugh. "How long have you been at this? It's only been a couple'a months for me. Were you around for the whole--world eating snake thing? I guess I just missed it, which works out fine for me, honestly. Zero desire to experience a world-eating snake here, thanks."
