All of these cubs will be raised basically together in one family unit by Cressida and Sirius. Saunek will be a part of their lives and come to visit from time to time, but will not act as a primary parental figure.

Short Backstory
Saunek is deeply in love with Freya, who does not share his feelings. In an attempt to try to move on from his unrequited love, he sought out the comfort of another and found Cressida. Young, naive, and filled with grand ambitions of finding true love like in the stories of her youth. The two hit it off and Cressida fell hard. Saunek however was the one this time - ironically enough - who was not to agree with the romantic sentiment.
After their moment of fun, Saunek left to resume his duties to Freya, leaving Cressida wondering what exactly she had done wrong.
Confused and lost, Cressida eventually found her way into the Starborn's home during a heavy thunderstorm. She was welcomed immediately by Sirius, who recognized another lost soul in need, and she decided to make it her permanent home.
Cressida soon started to feel unwell. She experienced morning sickness, aches, fatigue, and irritability. Cressida began to worry that her body, for some odd reason, wasn't agreeing with her new home. Was it something in the air? Mold, perhaps? Was she allergic to a new native plant around?
She got her very unexpected diagnosis when her belly began to swell. She was pregnant!
Sirius was overjoyed at the concept of more children filling the spiral, and friends for his beloved daughter to play with. He vowed to Cressida that they were a family now, and he would do whatever it took to support them.
Saunek would eventually seek out Cressida again, curious about what had happened to the strange, overly affectionate female he had encountered. Imagine his surprise to find her heavy with his cubs!
Now, the cubs are caught in the middle of a rather interesting family dynamic. ✦They have one mother - an oblivious airhead who still has feelings for their absent father. ✦One father figure - the one who might not be the dad, but dangit, he's the dad who stepped up! ✦And one absent father - the one who never wanted the cubs but feels a strange jealousy forming seeing someone else trying to raise his children.
What will happen next? Will Cressida and Sirius have a new budding romance? Will Saunek develop feelings for the one person willing to give him what he craves the most in this world? Will Cressida reject both of them?

Umbra always felt a little out of place in her family. All her siblings looked mostly like their mom, but she was born with sleek, dark fur, and piercing red eyes. This always made her wonder who her father really was. The Starcharter, Sirius, wasn't actually her father, but she felt like she had a connection to him somehow, and not just because of their resemblence. ((Eventually she learned who her father is but she still felt more connected to Sirius.))
As a cub, she loved to play and have fun, but her favorite thing was to learn about the Starborne and the cosmos. Even as a cub, she was so fascinated with the vast night sky and the mysteries it held. She loved to lay on her back and trace patterns in the stars, although she hadn't learned any of the constellations yet. She had a very vivid and creative imagination. She would make up stories about distant places or other worlds to tell to her siblings. Sometimes she could be found staring up into the heavens, as if she were listening to the universe whisper to her. Her curiosity about celestial bodies is matched only by her playful nature and vast thirst for knowledge.
As she got older, she focused more of her time on studying the culture and history of the Starclan and trying to figure out where she fit within the clan. She aspired to be useful, putting her ever growing knowledge to work for the clan. She felt drawn towards becoming a lorekeeper. She felt it is a truly important role and she wanted to help preserve the knowledge and information that the clan as a whole had discovered.

Entry: Hadar is a soft spoken little guy, not super shy, but quiet and willing to listen. He may be a little naive at times, willing to take whatever someone says at face value and unwilling to think anyone would lie to him for any reason. Sometimes, this might result in hurt feelings on his part, but he’s willing to bounce back and be resilient. I wouldn’t call him an airhead, but he does need a little guidance to get there sometimes. He’ll learn and grow as he gets older, and hopefully come into his own as a confident young ma’ome with a down to earth personality with a willingness to help wherever he may be needed.

Polaris, like his namesake, is steady - even-tempered, affable, and open. In the rather unconventional family he was born into, Polaris is often the one his siblings look to when they're having a bad day or if there's conflict, as he is always ready with a light-hearted joke to break the tension or provide comfort.
While Polaris is very adaptable, growing up in an environment that encourages introspection and quiet as an out-going cub hasn't always been easy. Although he has a deep reverence for the stars and Saunek who teaches him and his siblings, he enjoyed exploring and learning from others than watching the stars alone. He loves to be around others and secretly, to feel of use to others.
(I see him potentially becoming a Scout in the future where he can work with others to explore new lands!)

Although there may not be any bit of green on her body, she is green with envy. Chandra may not look irked that her siblings get attention, but sure enough she'll be the last one to bed to make sure her fur is clean and pristine. She's the last one to eat when she needs to prove, without a shadow of a doubt, that she's better than her siblings.
Chandra doesn't mean to cause problems and will undoubtably blame their siblings on any turmoil that she has mistakenly, or unmistakenly caused.
She has high hopes in the future, a colony of her own where the members serve to her every whim. No questions asked. But until then, she has no problem ordering her siblings around.
(No shame in adding to this telenovela).

Araceli (meaning alter of the sky) has never felt part of her biological family, no she was a shadow in the brightness of her colorful siblings, thankfully though she didn't need them! She had a sibling that she fit with, that was dark like her. Sure she had a few spots of brightness, but Kyiana was like her a slip of darkness. Her distance from her biological family was likely furthered by the fact she was the only one with her sire's dark coat leading to complicated feelings with her mother.

Orion is a special spirit and enjoys spending his time expanding his knowledge. He enjoys reading over the collected tomes at the school and has aspirations of becoming a teacher one day. Not so brawny, he is more of the brainy sort and is less likely to be bothered to get into quarrels with his siblings. He is of a calm demeanor and as they age, he may try to impart advice and guidance to his siblings. One of his favorite things is adventuring through the lands to watch a special star at night, and seeing the images in his books, come to life.
