The next thing im going to do is try and upload a disc to it... if it works.. i will try and get a new ipod lead.. if not... then i will get mum to take it to repair shop...

Either way... it could be risky... but not as risky as unsintalling and reinstalling itunes...

Edit: Tbh i want the disc to work.. because then i can use a itunes alternative to transfer songs to that... it could be my savior.. i really don't want to take it to a repair shop... it will be too complicated... i would need to take my ipod... laptop.. PLUS my new ipod has passcode aswell as laptop... so... yea.. more complcated than last time...
