Nectaris had picked out what she thought was a nice, official looking place to hold these interviews. They were near the courthouse district, so that meant the roman-looking statue in the middle of the flowerbeds here was probably supposed to be Lady Justice or something. She was in one of the parks towards the center of town, which meant that she might have to be careful in case any unexpected company showed up. Hopefully that'd make it easy for anyone on Order side to find her, though.

She had a special notebook for this, one with hearts that she'd gotten on Valentine's clearance, and she flipped it open to a fresh page. Erytheia, she wrote in golden ink on the top.

It seemed a little weird that she didn't know about someone who was already a full Knight, but that was okay. That was why she was trying to have these meetings in the first place!

When he came into view, she stood up from her bench, waving. "Hi there!" she said. "I'm right over here!"

"Yeah, there were some new people there," said Nectaris, nodding happily. "But I took notes! I don't think I got everyone who was there, but at least, like, the people who spoke up, I should have their names and what they agreed to help with and stuff."

Otherwise, she would have forgotten everything by now, too.

She sat back down on the bench, cross-legged, and picked up her notebook. "Maybe we should start with some of the basics before we get into like, those teams and stuff."

She looked him over. He was obviously Cosmos, obviously a full Knight.

"Your outfit's awesome by the way," she told him. "I always love the star stuff. So sparkly. And the bow is cool."

She tilted her head. "What's your magic?"

"I got some stuff from Almadel to help," said Nectaris, pulling out the pad of paper and pen from subspace. "He's like, a space merchant? See? It's like, pretty paper with art on it that never runs out, and golden ink that never runs out." She sent them away again. "But I'm using this Valentine's stuff today 'cause, y'know. I like to mix it up."

Even magical artifacts could get a little bit stale sometimes.

She took notes dutifully as he described his magic, but then she looked up and blinked at him.

"Wait," she said. "Your magic can do, like, two different things? From your bow?" She glanced at it. "Not, like, a summon or something? And it can be a different weapon? Like, how?"

He wasn't any stronger than she was, power wise, and she couldn't do that. She could tell that he was Transcended, but that usually just meant that people couldn't get corrupted.

"Yeah. He has a way to go to everyone's planets and stuff," said Nectaris. "He's probably got even better artifacts and stuff that he's not selling us." He did for sure, actually. She remembered his house.

But that was that. This was this.

Erythia was holding a sword.

And, like, maybe she shouldn't be surprised. Knights got weapons. They were usually more symbolic, though. Staves like hers. Bows with no arrows but the magic ones.

Not, like, something you would actually find in a war.

Nectaris blinked.

"That looks sharp," she said.

"I remember the stuff with the Code, but, like-" Her staff was still the same. "Did you do something else after?"

"So you talked to the Code directly?"

That wasn't a bad idea, honestly. Nectaris was taking notes furiously. Most of the other people she'd talked to had good ideas about stuff, but this was something that she could maybe do to make herself stronger.

"That's, like, really good to know about. Thanks for telling me."

She paused, and turned a page in her notebook.

"Okay, so for the other part of the interview, I'm trying to connect people with different interests and focuses I guess? So, like, is there something in the war that's, like, especially important to you? What are you trying to do?"
