Hobbies: What does your character do outside of school/work during their civilian life? Note that this is an activity that they do on a regular basis, and reflects their personality. Film Directing – Dylan likes making documentaries of the everyday hard truths around people today, like homelessness. It is hard for people to face the harsh truths of his videos, but some are impressed with his initiative. He has seen the pain of the world and taken to volunteering. He has made documentaries about a great many harsh truth, and has started considering starting a entirely new path, sci-fi and fantasy stories.
Robotics – He’s building himself a robot. He makes his robotics useful so many people think it is exciting. His areas (bedroom, desk at school, and so forth) are congested with robotics building supplies and tools and it gets on his parents’ and teachers nerves that he’s always making a mess. He prefers making his robot friend and robotics that would help astronauts (as that is what he would like to be) but he will make them to help anyone; school, home, friends, etc.
Virtues: These are positive aspects about your character's personality that affects them on a daily basis. Specifically, these are non-physical traits (such as 'generous', 'kind' and 'outgoing') that other people will look up to your character for having. All profiles have a minimum of two virtues (and a maximum of four).
Adventurous – Dylan is always the first to volunteer himself for dangerous missions, whether it is volunteering to go first in Chemistry class, or attempt to make a documentary of the magical gang wars in Destiny City. Teachers are pleased with his volunteering, while others are amazed and appreciative of him being about to do things they cannot. This trait helps his grades, and gets him picked sooner for activities, groups, and sports. The biggest thing it’s gotten him picked for is, being chosen by his family to move to Destiny City to help reconcile his family (the Boats family) with another branch (the Bones family), which could potentially be hazardous, or potentially wonderful. This trait is so strong in his life, he’s gotten the secondary nickname, “The Adventurer”.
Quick Witted – As a long time Film Documentary Director of real-life, Dylan has learned to think on his feet at any given moment. Though moving to Destiny City will have its new surprises for him, he’ll be ready to improvise. Dylan is always good in a pinch and hardly ever frozen in fear or uncertainty. Everyone knows they can count on him and he is often put in leadership or semi-Leadership Position. There has only been one situation where Dylan lost his footing, (so to speak) and it was an awkward situation, where two friends had fallen for each other and were uncomfortable about it. Other than that, Dill has no footing trouble.
Flaws: Second verse, same as the first. Things that are not flaws: 'clumsy', 'hates seeing people hurt their friends', phobias, mental illnesses, diseases, being 'too nice' (unless they are SO NICE that it is an ACTUAL FLAW), etc. Like the virtues, these are non-physical traits about your character that affects them daily, however these are attributes about your character that give other people reason to look DOWN on your character. Your profile must have a minimum of two flaws, and a maximum of four.
Thrill-Seeking – One way this shows itself is that he likes to document real life in super dangerous situations, it’s like a high for him. He also is a stunt devil when it comes to sports, pulling all sorts of crazy stunts just for the thrill of it. People don’t like this, because he puts lives in danger, not just his own, and his parents are frantic (which is another reason they sent him away (they didn’t know about the dangers of Destiny City)). Getting into these situations constantly get Dill hurt; so far, he hasn’t been seriously hurt. He might not cross the line at home or at school, but in his free time he is always doing something dangerous.
Over-Ambitious? -This trait shows itself when Dylan often attempts to do things that may hurt the greater good or those he cares about; such as trying to get the identities of Senshi on film, even if they are his cousins. He seems to put himself first, even before the safety of the world, and so seems like a jerk. Dylan doesn’t have many friends and often loses what friends he does have due to this trait. He’ll do anything to be the star in anything, from film directing, to sports, to school, etc.
Hair and eye colors cannot change from civilian to powered form, nor can tattoos or piercings. If your character has a tattoo as a civilian it will appear on the powered art, though will have a glamour to prevent people who have seen both from identifying civilian identities. Hairstyles can change between civilian and powered form; only Corrupted Senshi have vastly different hair between civilian and powered forms (their hair grows extensively in length!) Unnatural hair and eye color are perfectly fine, and there is no need to say they use hair dye or wear contacts - your character is free to have been born with blue hair if you want. Genetic heterochromia is allowed, but please consider that this is still considered a genetic oddity in our game environment; you are free to play with it but we encourage players to be considerate of this fact!
