Dyl heard his grandmother apologize over the phone. He'd rarely heard her apologize to anyone ever - this must be serious - oh wait, everything was serious lately. Hadn't it been just a week ago that Grandmother announced to him and Day, his twin sister; "Now Dylan and Dalton, listen here. I .... I have been diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer. I'm have four months to live. I'm going to have to find someone to care for you." It had been rather shocking, as Grandmother had been a rather steely older lady.

She got off the phone and saw him standing there. "I've called your aunt, your mother's sister, Di, she's going to bring everyone up to see us. And, then I want you and Dalton to go back with her and her family. And Dylan?" She ruffled his hair, something she hadn't done since he was much younger. "Yes, Grandmother?" "I want you guys to make this work. I know you'll try, right?" Dyl nodded. "Try to get Dal to work with them as well." "Yes, Grandmother."

"Oh Dyl!" She had never called him that, nor had she ever done what she was about to do. She embraced him and cried. He too embraced her, and the tears fell. Then it was Day's turn, with her long hair, and pink dress shirt. She embraced Grandmother and was embraced in return, and the tears fell. "Oh Dal!"

These were things Grandmother had never done. However, it seemed that even thought she was dying, she still could not accept that Dalton, Dyl's twin, saw himself (or rather herself) as Dayanara or just Day.

Just this once, Day did not seem to mind. They all wept. Even the servants seemed sad - or maybe that was just because they may soon lose their nice paychecks.

Later, he thought, he'd do some research on this aunt of his, that Grandmother, and his parents had never mentioned, Fiona Diane Boats Bones. He typed in her name and hit search. Her name brought up many things - including Bones Engineering. She apparently headed the founding team as Chief Engineer with her husband who was CEO - and he could now see why Grandmother disowned her. Uncle Thomas Dean Bones was apparently the son of an Egyptian immigrant - actually Dylan thought that was pretty awesome, but yeah - it was totally like Grandmother to uh, not like them. Also, on the founding team was Uncle Thomas's younger (much younger) sister, Claudia Bones.

Dyl flipped through the history of Uncle Thomas's parents (pretty awesome), and then went to his kids (Dyl's cousins). Dyl found first his older cousins, Andrew, and Xandria (awesome name), who were 24 and lived in their own apartment (just like Dyl and Day - Xandria and Andrew were twins). Andrew was a police officer in Destiny City, where they all lived, and had recently shaved his head. Xandria was studying at Sovereign Heights a Community College in the area and had long hair.

He then found that that they had a younger sister, Danielle of 14, who live with her parents and her almost five-year-old twin brothers Darrell and Darren; (no pictures of these three (that was just good interneting skills - to keep the younger ones safe.

"Boo yah, whose a good computer worker? Me that's who!" Dyl said to himself.
