Odainsaker
Odainsaker had managed to find a couple of other cosmos knights to join her. She stood waiting in the park on a small hill. The sky was clear tonight, perhaps the journey would be easy and not too taxing. She was concerned though that things could still go wrong but was trying to ease her concerns.

She was awaiting Irkalla and Erytheia to join her as she hummed softly. What would they find? How bad would the wonder be?

After the meeting with the Code on the Moon, Erytheia had offered any Cosmos knights that needed assistance in finding their Code Piece his aid.

It was for that reason that he powered up tonight and headed straight to a local park. He looked for the hill they were supposed to meet at. There were two squires waiting there when he arrived.

The knight of Cosmos already resonated with the Code on his own Wonder. It was… an experience. To say the least of it!

But he was here to aid a fellow Cosmos knight and so he pushed the strange visions from his own world to the back of his mind. For now.

“I’m Erytheia. We met at the meeting on the Moon.”

“Yes.” Erytheia had stored rations and water as well as a first aid kit in his subspace. You never knew how long you would be on a world or wonder. It was best to always be prepared.

“To get to your wonder, hold on your weapon and focus on your name and the pledge will come to you.” Erytheia smiled. “We all want to hold hands so we travel together.”

Odainsaker grinned as the others said they were ready and Irkalla said she was happy to help. This made things much easier and then Odain paused, "OH my weapon?" She summoned the star pointed arrow from her subspace. "Interesting, I wouldn't've guessed."

"So everyone ready then? Lets keep our hands and feet inside the ride at all times!" She took Irkalla's hand and made sure that Erytheia also was holding hands with them. Her left she kept the arrow in it and focused on her name for a few moments once confirming everyone was ready.

The pledge was surprisingly simple when it finally came. "I pledge my life and loyalty to Cosmos, and to Odainsaker. I humbly request your aid, so that in return I may give you mine." She muttered the words as they came to her.

She'd also closed her eyes and suddenly it felt like she had fallen from a roller coaster and left her stomach somewhere back a ways; when she opened her eyes they were standing in a quaint little village made up of mushroom and tree trunk shaped houses and the sky was an usual sheen of some sort of iridescent pastel pink color all while still being able to see the stars. Off in the distance to their right it looked like there was a suspension bridge leading to a floating landmass with buildings much the same style, on the left it looked like the land just ended after the last row of houses; a few of the houses had what use to be garden beds long since fallow.

" . . . Sooooo I did it?" She asked in somewhat disbelief that they'd left earth. This could've been some weird amusement ride or just a dream. Though it seemed the first question may have been rhetorical when Odain followed up with ".... did anyone else feel like they left their stomach back on earth?"

Irkalla looked a little green when they arrived on Odainsaker. Her breath hitched with uncertainty before she got her first initial glimpses of this location that was alien to her. It appeared that all Wonders were not the same. Taking in a deep breath the squire absently moved away from both Erytheia and Odainsaker before simply making a sound of wonder at the different view.

Although her stomach was a little queasy from the trip up here, she was surely making a quick recovery, "Might've felt a little off with the arrival, but I think I'm fine now."

She glanced around once more before she glanced to Erytheia, who was the one in the group with the experience, "How did you originally find your Code piece Erytheia? Could we use the same method here or is time more of the essence?"

Odain smiled, "Well maybe we can come together and both of us make one weapon if we ever need it to happen!"

"Also I'm glad we didn't hit any turbulence. Not sure I could've taken that." The squire laughed lightly. When Irkalla asked about how Erytheia found their code piece Odain cocked her head to the side and glanced over at the Knight.

She frowned when she heard the code piece's home had been destroyed so it needed a new one. "OH, that would be nice if it called out to let me know where it is."

Odain stopped and looked around the world which was oddly void of life. "Is every wonder this . . . dead?" She asked curiously before wondering if she needed to try to close her eyes and listen for the code.

"Should we. . . look around or do you think if I close my eyes and try to listen to the world around me I could hear it calling?" The cosmos squire seemed thoughtful "maybe both?" After all it sounded like the code piece could be just about anywhere. and starting to look in the area they were in might be interesting; or if they found something that looked to be a public space?

“Mine was entirely dead when I first arrived.”

The knight remembered how much of a shock that had been for him when he first saw his wonder.

Death. Destruction. And with no trace that life had ever existed there.

“You are right. The Code on the Moon did say it would guide us. But I wonder how it will do so.”

As Odainsaker mentioned feeling a tug to head in a certain direction Irkalla gave a brief nod of understanding. It seemed that the search was now considered to be on. The squire of Cosmos wasn't sure what would need to be done in order to actually locate said piece of the Code but at least a starting direction that needed to be travelled in was at least helpful.

Moving towards the bridge that seemed to be the destination Irkalla was about to pull ahead of Odainsaker and Erytheia before catching what it was the Odainsaker was suddenly inquiring about. Her movement paused as she whipped her head around to stare at the building that Odainsaker was looking at. Was there a chance that someone was living here? How would that have been possible if it were the case?

"I don't think there should be anyone living up here. Erytheia, any insights? You are the most senior member of the group here."




(( I'm extremely sorry. I'm trying to write Irkalla like she's never done any "wonder" visiting yet since everyone was tasked with resonating with their code pieces. It's a tad confusing for me. ))
