(( set two weeks after this rp ))Two weeks had gone by seemingly really fast. Delaney Richards stared across at the immense station that saw her at the pivot of a crossroads in her life before almost reconsidering the whole plan. If she just went back to staying in her civilian mode all the time there would be no need to change anything. She could still just go onwards to New York, enjoy the sights, and then return home. Her henshin pen would stay forever tucked away where it would be safe from harm and she could ignore the other side of her life and just go on living the life she had been meant to live had Itsuki never awakened her into the senshi lifestyle. Because powering up could lead to issues if Beatrix ever came across her once more and one could only imagine what could happen on a deal that had ‘soured’ over the time that had passed.
Fingering the silent prepaid phone in her jeans pocket Delaney sighed. After sending a quick text update to Beatrix regarding the departure time of her train after her last conversation she’d gone into silent mode. There had been silence on her end since then because of many reasons; mostly fear being one of them. What would she become if she saw this transformation through? The sensation of pain once more washed through her chest and she hunched over before glancing back to the station. Somehow the pain, instead of fading away, had begun to get worse. It was getting a little harder to hide evidence of these episodes from those that knew her the most but Delaney always waived off their concern by explaining the pain away as something else. Moving slowly, the bluenette straightened out before grasping onto the handle of her wheeled luggage bag and crossing the street. She would not be boarding the train to New York but for all intents and purposes she was making it look as authentic as possible. That meant going into the building for at least a while. Her train was set to depart in the next hour but she had come early for another reason entirely. She could sit just inside and read for a while before ‘leaving’ once more out another entrance. The time spent inside would make it like she really was departing Destiny City.
There was also the chance that her ally needed just a little bit more time to get into the correct area. As her senshi self, Meissa hadn’t really had a lot of other contacts to fall back on, but she had at least one individual that she thought she could rely on to help her out. Heck even if all Illyria did was stun Beatrix it could be enough to spring her own version of a trap on the corrupt. So everything about her little plan of attack boiled down to details and just hoping that she could outmaneuver Beatrix long enough. There were many doubts floating around in her mind that the idea of joining the Negaverse wasn’t going to be as glamorous as Beatrix had tried making it out to be. But how could she, essentially, get the corrupt to give up the idea of bringing her in? Delay tactics could work … but how?
Even as she sat down inside the station, did Delaney bring out one of her favorite books and thumb through to where she’d placed her bookmark. She would lose herself in the wonderful fictional world for a period of time before beginning what she considered the next stage in her plan.

A nervous energy prickled through Beatrix as she looked over the text on her phone. Everything on her end had gone off without a hitch, thanks to help from Theo as well as the funding increase she had from the Negaverse alongside her promotion. It was more than she’d ever earned in her life and that had netted her exactly what she needed to make sure things would work out. Everything was set up in the two-bedroom apartment, with a fully stocked fridge and kitchen. She’d splurged on some things and now, leaving the apartment, she made sure she was far enough away before powering up. Things were different now, she really felt like she could manage to do a lot more. Getting to the station wasn’t hard, teleporting close enough without being seen by the groups of people. Taking a seat on one of the fire escapes she lazily drained some of the people nearby as she watched the trains departing. Never enough to cause any of them to pass out since this wasn’t her normal haunt where people would pass out drunk regularly. Here people might worry and look into things if someone passed out randomly while leaving the train station. Pulling her phone out she sent a message to let M know she was here and ready when they were. It was a complicated sort of ruse, one she never really had to deal with but whatever the other needed to keep things from going smoothly on their end was fine. She’d left her own place in the middle of the night to come to the city for college, it hadn’t worked out well but now she had carved out a nice little spot here after being picked up by the Negaverse. Tugging at her mask lightly, she kept her focus on the area to see if anyone was going to cause trouble with things, she knew enough by now that order liked to meddle when chaos was around. At least now she had her dearest dullahan in all their glory to smite them and there would be no mercy if she could manage.

Illyria had been pleasantly surprised at the fact that Meissa had reached out to her in a time of need. What she wasn’t happy about was the short notice of what was going on. If there had been more time allotted Illyria could have made sure that Ida would have been free to join this ruse that Meissa had tried to plan out. It just seemed that there wasn’t enough time. Considering that their meeting had only taken place the night before it didn’t lend enough time for the Mauvian to even check to see if she could round up enough help. Perhaps it had been the wrong idea to stay with the other senshi in order to talk throughout the night but Orah would have understood, had she known. It wouldn’t be the first or the last night that she was apart from her bonded senshi. Meissa had needed her presence and she was more than happy to oblige.
The fact that the bobcat senshi had reached out to her meant that at least Meissa had come to realize that she would need some sort of assistance. The discussion that had occurred later on in the evening as Delaney had laid out what had been happening had the fur on Illyria’s back fluffing up so much that her size nearly had doubled. This was so much worse than she had begun to imagine. At one point Meissa had been close to losing her life but it had been her sudden idea, with a hand in her chest no less, to try and deceive the senshi into believing her that she wanted to join the Negaverse. Why hadn’t she reached out for help then? It wouldn’t do any good to scold the young woman now. What had been done was done. Instead Illyria simply had curled up in Delaney’s lap in an effort to soothe away the anxiety that she had felt overtaking her friend.
Even as Illyria thought back to the night before did her internal senses pick up on the sudden appearance of a chaotic signature. Her hackles came up in an automatic response before she hissed silently. This was not good. This chaotic aura was stronger than what Meissa had told her to look out for. Meissa had told her that the corrupt senshi was of her level … a super senshi. But whomever she was sensing now was stronger: a senshi of a rank higher … an eternal. Had the corrupt senshi laid her own trap out for Meissa by bringing in reinforcements?
Even as she slunk closer did she remain in her cat form. Being like this would allow her to get closer - to see just who this new potential threat was.

Her phone vibrated. Delaney picked it up and read the message from Beatrix before frowning thoughtfully. There was already a good chance that Illyria had made it into a good ambush position. Deep inside she had been surprised to learn that her Mauvian friend had also managed to unlock some deeper mode of power which made the idea of something more than just a stunning of Beatrix more possible. But that wouldn’t happen unless this confrontation took place. Swinging her gaze around the station did Delaney rise from her seat before taking her luggage with her to the locker that she had rented for the occasion. Stashing her items inside Delaney turned the key that was matched to the locker and then removed it. There was no way that she would risk her belongings being damaged if things got a little out of hand. This had been the perfect solution. Rent a locker, store her stuff and come back for it later. The key then was clipped onto a carabiner that she had brought with her from home and clipped onto a belt loop of her jeans.
Sniffing softly and feeling a growing sense of tension settle over her, did the young woman glance once more at the train that she would have been boarding before simply turning her back on it. Her earlier trip to the station had yielded information about another entrance/exit for individuals to use and it was with a measured stride that she headed towards that one. Her henshin pen was stashed inside of her coat pocket and with the appearance of one who was confident in what they were doing, Delaney took the exit out of the train station before ducking into the nearest alleyway. Given the fact that it was only a matter of minutes since she had received the text from Beatrix did the bluenette hesitate.
Better get this over and done with, I just hope Illyria’s made it into a good position for our ambush.
Bringing out her henshin pen Delaney silently called out her transformation and felt the reassuring power move through her turning her into the Super Senshi of Bobcats. There was instantly a moment of confusion when her mind picked up on the fact that the only chaotic aura that she felt in the area was stronger than another super senshi. Was it Beatrix or someone else? The power signature was on a nearby rooftop and so that is where she needed to be. Now she really was glad that Illyria was going to be assisting her in this ambush. Even as she made it onto the roof where the chaotic aura was waiting did Meissa clear her throat as to hopefully not startle the waiting corrupt but considering they could sense each other it hadn’t been likely. Her gaze narrowed on the wings that were apparent on Beatrix’s outfit and she winced. So Beatrix was now stronger than she was. Hopefully the combined power she would have with Illyria providing backup would be enough to subdue Beatrix … but what was the plan after that?

She felt an order signature blink into existence, one she recognized. Turning as she heard Meissa clear her throat, she smiled even if the other couldn’t see it behind her mask. Something made her pause though, there was something brewing on the other’s face and it made that nervousness prickle down her spine. Reaching a hand out towards them, she motioned for them to come along. “Let’s go, there’s a lot to do in a short amount of time. It’ll be ok, yanno.” She’d actually done a lot of the prep work for once, put in the effort to clean things up and be an adult for once. It felt good, felt like she had her s**t together instead of floating along with the current. Stepping forward, she motioned a bit more insistently. There weren’t any other signatures around now but she knew with all the civilians below that any of them could be a senshi or knight just as easily as they could be a corrupt like her or an officer.

Meissa hesitated. The simple gesture of having one’s hand held out in a “come here” gesture didn’t sit right with her. The bobcat senshi knew that as soon as she was within touching distance of Beatrix that all hope would be gone in this scenario. That couldn’t happen. Even as she tried to subtly hide the fact that once again she was experiencing phantom pain did Meissa remain where she was. Illyria was close. The faint aura that only a Mauvian in cat form produced was perceptible on her radar and that made her just a little bit braver in her constitution. She’d try to draw this meeting out just a little longer for her furry friend to get the jump on Beatrix.
“I don’t appreciate being beckoned forward like someone who is lesser in your view Beatrix. I thought we’d be equal in this. I’m not just someone you can easily boss around. Maybe try asking politely if I’m ready to make this next step. Manners matter. I’m my own person yanno.”
Using the word that B was always using in their communiques felt like she was mentally trying to slap some sense in the other. As she looked past Beatrix a blurred streak registered and she had to look away. She didn’t want to give away Illyria’s sudden arrival onto the rooftop.

Illyria had been busy. Her senses hadn’t picked up anyone else in the direct vicinity so it must have meant that this owner of the chaotic energy signature was perhaps who Meissa had been planning to meet. The fact that the owner was an eternal senshi had been a small wrench tossed into the works but she could make it work. If she phased too soon into her other form it would only goad the corrupt senshi into acting rashly. She needed to stay as a cat for as long as she could in order to really get the drop on the other. Her vision had already picked up on the meeting that was beginning, even as she felt Meissa’s own aura flare on her radar, and it was with a sense of urgency that her pace across the roof she’d been situated on increased before she found herself leaping through the air and landing neatly just meters away from the corrupt senshi. Her presence for sure would be felt now but even as she scampered across to position herself in front of Meissa did she arch her back and hiss threateningly at her new ‘enemy.’ This corrupt would learn the hard way that you didn’t take things away from Illyria.

Beatrix pulled her hand back and scratched at the back of her head. “Ah, sorry. I’m just a bit worried with all the people that we might have some trouble. You never know who’s who and stuff. Didn’t mean to be rude just uh figuring it all out and stuff.” She really wasn’t one to boss others around so she felt a bit bad if it came across like that. “I know you’re your own person, uh just let me know when you're ready then?”Kicking her heel at the ground as she looked down towards the people below, nothing had popped up yet on her radar but then out of nowhere, there was a cat. An Order cat at that and it set her bristling even more. If there was one, that meant there could be other senshi being hidden by them. To be honest she didn’t really like the mauvians on either side of things so as this one hissed at her she gritted her teeth and took a step forward as fog swirled around her and formed her armor. Sure she might be slower but as long as there weren’t any fighters her rank, she couldn’t get banged up from whatever scrap would happen. “What do you think you’re doing buddy? She’s my friend.” tefla Enhancement attack: Beatrix's Armor Fog rolls out from Beatrix but instead of filling the air it wraps around her and forms a spectral set of armor that gives her the illusion of a ghostly, headless dullahan. The armor helps protect her by reducing physical damage done to her. Attacks by third stage characters and above will be slightly dulled while attacks from second stage characters or weaker will be blocked. When an enemy comes in contact with the armor it causes a chill on them. It does not cover her face and does make her slightly slower. Appearance

The forming of spectral armor was something else that was new with the corrupt senshi. It was true that since she’d kept her communication limited to not in person that it wouldn’t have been hard for Beatrix to have tricks up her sleeves that Meissa didn’t know about. Her gaze traveled down to Illyria’s protective pose in front of her. Beatrix’s words registered in her ears and anger flashed in her eyes for a brief second or two before she stepped back a little. Feeling as if the armor kept Beatrix from experiencing too much damage had Meissa wondering if there was something that she could do that could incapacitate the eternal senshi somehow. For now though Illyria’s presence was a vast reassurance that she wasn’t alone in this. Even as she bore witness to a shift in Illyria’s auric presence did she use the time to search the rooftop for some sort of weapon that she could use against Beatrix. Any sort of thing that was lying around would do … just to throw Beatrix off her game.

Illyria hesitated when Beatrix questioned what she was doing and the statement that followed of Meissa being friends. Her agitation was all too apparent in the back and forth lashing motion that her tail had taken up even as she gave an imperceptible shake of her head, “There is no way that you are friends. None whatsoever. Friends don’t stick their hands in places that they don’t belong when being told that murder is wrong,” Illyria paused her, letting her words sink into Beatrix’s mind before she continued, “that’s right. I know the entire saga of what’s going on here. Meissa told me everything. I can’t blame her for telling you what you obviously wanted to hear at that moment as she was only looking for a way to survive that meeting.”
Illyria’s form blurred into that of her humanoid form and her claws lengthened before she took a step back when the armor formed on the other’s body. This was a wrinkle in the plan to simply overwhelm the other. Was it too early to even consider utilizing her newest ability to fight? The armor was odd in its design and Illyria sighed before summoning the one item that would see her own power level increase more. Feeling the weight of her transformation item land in her hands did Illyria simply press the power button on the side of the gps unit before she felt the change wash over her. Her appearance changed and she gripped her device before glaring at Beatrix. Her feet moved forward, almost like she wanted to attempt to scratch at the other before she broke the silence, “Time’s up for you … have a pollen bomb!”
As she spoke the last two words a glowing sphere formed in her hands and she held it there for a moment before lobbing it at the corrupt senshi’s neck. She didn’t know exactly what would happen but the fact that she was using magic was a revelation in itself.Mauvian Senshi Attack: Pollen Bomb! (( Bringing her hands together Illyria calls out her attack. Upon speaking the attack a glowing sphere gathers in her cupped hands. As soon as the sphere is as large as a softball in size Illyria will lob the sphere at the nearest opponent. If the sphere makes any contact with the target the sphere will burst into a cloud of pure orchid pollen. (normally orchid pollen is in 'packets' but this is pure pollen) ... Exposure to the pollen bomb could result in common symptoms of hay fever: (( Sneezing: Itchy nose, eyes, ears, and mouth: Red and watery eyes and Swelling around the eyes )) Duration of exposure symptoms: 15 seconds (although players could choose to be affected longer if they wish to be) Area of attack: opponent must be within 6 feet of Illyria to be affected the most. ))

This mau was just the worst absolute thing she’d ever dealt with, what did she even know? It couldn’t really be true, at least not all true. Sure maybe she’d been a bit rough there but they had come up while she’d been dealing with a knight. Order people were no different and it was a dog-eat-dog kinda deal so really the cat was a hypocrite too. Grinding her teeth as they changed forms not once, but twice, Beatrix saw red as the familiar pattern and ornamentation of orchids was all over this cat. That damn princess, the meddler and all-around nastiest of bitches who had stopped her from getting that page or whatever they were called. Pulling her arm up, the thing they’d thrown burst and she was so glad she had a mask over her nose because her eyes were immediately itchy. It was like she was back home when all the ragweed decided to bloom and throw its puffs of allergy-inducing fluff all over her parent’s house. It had her rubbing her face for a second to try clearing her vision but that didn’t stop her from talking. “Just great… it’s always that orchid princess ruining things one way or another. What are you? Her freaking pet? All high and mighty bleh…” Shaking her head she stepped forward and swung a fist out at the cat senshi thing even as her eyes were watering.

Illyria hadn’t expected that reaction. Then again she hadn’t really known why she had said those words in the first place. It was almost like they were begging to be said. The effect of launching what appeared to be a ball of pure pollen towards the enemy was intriguing to say the least. If only it had been more effective. Perhaps that mask that Beatrix was wearing had helped to stave off the majority of what she had been aiming to accomplish. At least a ranged attack was better than getting up real close. Even as she heard the slight against her bonded senshi partner, did Illyria appear to freeze for a moment. So Beatrix knew Ida as well. That complicated things. Although she schooled her expression to remain as neutral as possible. There would be no slip ups on her part that could be used against Ida or anyone else that she knew because of the connection that was there. Instead Illyria shook her head in response to the statement that the corrupt had made, “don’t know who you are talking about. I don’t know any princesses.”
Perhaps it was because she was trying to act so nonchalant that Meissa’s shout of alarm didn’t register in time. What registered though was the sudden flare of pain as Beatrix’s swung fist connected with her shoulder. Her gaze widened before she lashed out with her clawed fingers - attempted as best as she could, to land some sort of strike on any part of the corrupt’s body that wasn’t covered with the spectral armor - which only left the target area of Beatrix’s face.

Meissa had been silently hoping that perhaps, in a roundabout way, that she wouldn’t have to partake in this battle; that Illyria’s attacks would just be enough to drive off Beatrix or at least detain her long enough for her to try and get close enough to snag her somehow. Even as Illyria launched what looked like a softball sized sphere of pollen at Beatrix did Meissa’s gaze widen in surprise. Mauvians using magic…a novel idea. Even as Beatrix shook off most of that pollen cloud though and moved forward to strike out at Illyria did Meissa cry out a short warning to her battle partner. Oops, was the thought as her cry distracted Illyria just enough for Beatrix to get a solid strike in. Did that not phase her that bad or is she just seeing red now, was Meissa’s thought as she watched Illyria seemingly brush off the hit in order to lash out with her fingers extended, almost like she wanted to claw out Beatrix’s eyes.
Ducking around behind the corrupt senshi, Meissa tried to judge a good opening before realizing that with the armor that Beatrix seemingly wore over her body, physical attacks would probably have little to no effect on the outcome of the fight. It seemed that her bobcats were needed at this moment more than ever. Whispering the words to her magic Meissa watched as the bobcat duo materialized. She could only hope that by putting the corrupt on edge again, that they could level the playing field a bit. As it was turning out to look like, she and Illyria weren’t enough against an eternal senshi.
“Meissa’s Dual Stalker mode”(( Super Sailor Scout Attack: Meissa's Dual Stalker Mode Meissa will create the illusion of two bobcats that circles her chosen target(s) for thirty seconds. During the duration of the illusion the target(s) of the attack will feel like cornered prey being stalked by a predator. They could experience fear, anxiety and maybe even the need to flee. It takes attention away from Meissa and could maybe leave the target open to being attacked. It's a distraction technique at the most. The enemy has to be inside a nine foot radius for the feeling of prey to be most effective. If Meissa is struck during the duration of the attack the illusion will end abruptly. Meissa can use this attack three times per battle.))

They’d frozen but then acted like nothing had happened and Beatrix didn’t buy it, there was just that feeling there and then there were claws coming at her face. She pulled up an arm to try and block it but it was too slow with the armor. Cursing she did notice Meissa moving behind her, when no attack came she smiled. At least the cat was apart from them even if they’d gotten a good scratch on her face which had torn her mask slightly. “Well if you don’t know her then I guess that means she won’t come and save you then either?” Taking just one step back, she knew that it was a risk but she could run if needed and take Meissa with her. They were close enough, just a few more steps back and she could grab and go. Thinking about what she was doing next, a sick and twisted smile crossed her face as it was visible through the torn skeletal mask. “Maybe I’ll introduce you to my friend, they’ve fully made it here after all my hard work.” It was as natural as breathing, even as a new sense of anxiety started to brew. Maybe it was because bringing them out would bring more attention than she wanted, maybe it was the idea that that princess might just appear out of thin air. Either way, she stepped back as her armor faded back into fog, fog which started to hang low on the ground as a new sound came, the sound of dragging chains and a horseman who always came to her call. tefla ((Eternal Sailor Attack: Beatrix's Horseman A low hanging illusion of fog radiates out from Beatrix, the sound of a trotting horse dragging chains echoes out. The air within the fog grows colder as the magic goes on. A full sized Dullahan appears before all who are in the circle with their haunting appearance. It will slash out at them with its whip made of a human spine before letting out a haunting laugh. It can physically harm them but not life threateningly, the damage will always appear much worse during the effect of the spell even looking as bad as if they had a gaping cut on their body. The actual amount of damage would from medium sized lacerations to a simple concussion if they are struck in the head as it is coming from a whip, it may cause tripping to others around the one it is targeting. It would be similar to the amount of force of being hit by a heavy sword or weapon. be Radius is 10 feet and the effect with all the illusions lasts for 40 seconds. It can only be used once per battle. ))

Illyria could see phantom felines circling around the battlefield area and figured that Meissa had tried to level the playing field just a little. Her breathing had picked up after she had launched herself at the corrupt eternal and she was pleasantly surprised to note that there were scratches on the senshi’s face from where her claws had apparently made enough contact to affect the other. They didn’t bleed from what she could ascertain but they were there and visible. It was like her own personal mark on this corrupt eternal senshi. Like a beacon flashing above their head that they’d paid the price for vexing Illyria. Of course the good feeling didn’t last. Even as the armor that had protected Beatrix seemed to evaporate into a foggy nothingness did it appear as if something else was about to emerge from the murky atmosphere. The sound of a horse’s hoofsteps echoing out of the foggy cloud and then, even worse, if possible was the mocking, almost jeering laughter of the individual that was atop of the horse.
A sudden whistling sound had Illyria’s ears twitching as the sound registered even before the sight of a whip made out of human bones came out of the fog at an alarming speed. Her eyes widened with alarm even as she threw herself to the side to avoid the initial strike. Okay, that was good … and somewhat painful. Her body protested the abrupt motion and the impact of landing was enough to slightly wind her. Note to self: don’t leap out of harm’s way only to harm yourself in the process. Illyria pushed herself into a position of being on her knees in order to stand up fully when the sound of the whip registered once more and pain erupted along her exposed back.
Oh … oh. This was not pleasant at all. It was all that she could do to just stagger to stand upright as waves of agony traveled from the site on her back where she had been struck. If she had had any common sense she would have simply lay back down and pretend to not be alive anymore. But where would that leave Meissa? She had to protect the other senshi from a fate that was worse than death. The whip’s lash struck out once more … and struck the Mauvian squarely on the side of her head. There was a strong sense of alarm that flashed through her even as her form crumpled to the ground. She wasn’t knocked out, but damn, if the world would just stop spinning around for a few moments she would be able to get back on her feet and fight.
