I dunno if this has already been made, but here goes nothing...
This proves that Balberith does have powers. blaugh That was awesome when he shaded the girl with the blade in darkness and threw some knives at her. The funny thing was her expression though.

Globe of Darkness is an innate power for drow, which is why DB didn't put it on the list.
Faerie fire and levitation are also innate.

I thought the attack was quite cool. I think it works so that the person inside the Globe can only see black around herself, and nothing outside, yet anything can pass through the globe but herself. That will explain the shower of knives.
But, because anything but the targeted enemy can pass through it, it does have a weakness. An ally of the trapped enemy can go into the Globe of Darkness and protect her until the globe is gone. That would be at least one of them, and another is that it can only be held up for a limited amount of time before it disappears.
>_> <_< >_> Now I can defeat Balberith's Globe of Darkness if I had an ally with me. I am such a loophole genius.

Though I tried my best not to underestimate Bal, I was relativly suprised. In a good way.
I do have a little bit of disconcern, what with the avalibility of the Globe of Darkness... I wonder how this will turn out... [/stating the obvious]

Meiloyn v2 Now I can defeat Balberith's Globe of Darkness if I had an ally with me. I am such a loophole genius. error! warning! warning! A Globe of darkness is only that, Darkness, it's not a force field that keeps a target in, it simply voids any light (with the exception of magic designed to be seen in such darkness, such as Faerie fire) A globe of darkness is also stationary object. It stays put. Kos'ahini can move from the globe if she wants to. She doesn't have time to react to it though as in the same instant the globe appeared the knives were thrown.

It was just my own idea of what it was. X_x I did get the part about blocking light right, of course. That would be the purpose of the globe.

I'm glad to be seeing one of the more underrated characters getting some attention. ^_^ I've always thought Bal was pretty cool.
