Not for long was as good of a signal as any that she planned to move. So Bora waited.
She attempted to push him back, then, but he had been expecting her to do
something. He dug his feet into the roof beneath them as best he could, holding the spear defensively in front of himself. Whoever this was, she at least had some good defensive instincts. Not bad for a newbie, but realizing pushing him away was smart was not necessarily expert-level tactics.
What he wanted was either her starseed or to figure out more about her. Either one would work, really. The starseed would probably be the cleanest option.
And so, he pursued.
"Where do you plan on
going, then?"
He may have been pressing her closer to the edge intentionally.
