If Aogashima was a more sensible person, she might have taken heed to her sister's lectures about not blindly rushing into things, and proceeding with caution. At the same time, this was Aogashima, the very same person who befriended one of the aliens who arrived in Destiny City a couple years back and invited them to live with her without consulting the rest of her family first.

Previously, Tochi had been out shopping, looking for cute clothes on sale to buy for her Mauvian friend Rune, when the petite Cosmos Squire had heard a strange melody, and powered up to go and try to track down where it was coming from. She didn't understand the words, but it wasn't as if she needed to- music was something that was ingrained into her very soul, after all, and she was forever a butai shoujo at heart. Also, there was something about the melody that just seemed to... call to her? And she wanted to find out where the singer was, to ask what it was about the melody that was so familiar, despite having never heard of it before.

(Something from her past, maybe?)

Unfortunately, so far, it seemed that no matter which way she went, the melody never seemed to sound like it was getting any closer, and the longer she searched, the more she wanted to find the singer. "Where could it be coming from...?" the squire pondered out loud to herself.

A cute-looking senshi approached her, wearing an equally really cute outfit, and if Aogashima wasn't so preoccupied with trying to track down the mysterious singing, she would have spent the next half hour gushing over Urania and how cute she was, probably trying to befriend her on the spot if she didn't scare her away. Of course, it wasn't as if that couldn't come later, right?

"Uh-huh, yeah I did," Aogashima confirmed, nodding, "I can't figure out where it's coming from, though. Can you?"

It sounded so familiar, even if she couldn't identify what language it was, but if this senshi was following after it too, maybe they knew?

"I'm Aogashima, by the way," she said, and ultimately, because she was only somewhat capable of showing restraint, added, "What's your name? Your outfit is so cute! What are you the senshi of?"

"Same! It's so strange? It's like... it's calling out to me, but at the same time, it's like, no matter what direction I'm going, it's not getting any closer?"

How curious! Aogashima could only make guesses as to what was behind it, and why it was calling out to the both of them, but none of them seemed to make sense. Maybe she should message her sister about it, but Hakodate didn't really power up much. Or have a signet ring. Similarly, she could ask Val, but she hadn't seen Val around the house lately.

Urania was asking if she was a Cosmos knight, and Aogashima nodded enthusiastically.

"Yeah, I am!" she said happily; it'd taken awhile for her to get the hang of what knights were, but she finally at least wasn't thinking of them as an idol group, "A senshi of astronomy sounds really fun! I think it might have been destiny that we met, if we're both after this strange voice. Do you want to be friends?"

It was probably just coincidence, given the strange happenings that tended to occur in Destiny City, but Aogashima wasn't about to pass up on the opportunity.

“Same, same!! You can’t make out what the lyrics are saying either, can you? I can speak English and Japanese, and it doesn’t sound like any of the other languages I’ve heard before, either!”

Like, she’d heard enough pop and idol music in other languages to be able to safely say that these were none of them! This was, of course, not a new revelation, as she’d been thinking about that from the start of when she first heard the voice, but she wanted to know Urania’s thoughts on the matter, just in case.

“It really bugs me for some reason…” but she was happy to have made a new friend out of this situation! If nothing else, she’d met a cute senshi and befriended her immediately, and perhaps if they never found the owner of the mysterious voice they could like… go clothes shopping or something. Aogashima very clearly had her priorities in order.

"Hmm..."

Honestly, Aogashima wasn't sure what to say, really. Should she offer to try to get ahold of her sister to help? Just why couldn't they locate the source of the mysterious voice, and why was it calling out to the both of them? She just didn't know.

"What if... well, what if... oh!" Aogahima suddenly had an epiphany, maybe.

"I wonder... maybe I could try singing back! I wonder if it'll respond to the sound of my voice, and show itself then."

It wasn't exactly the most sensible of ideas, but Aogashima thought back to the time she went to her wonder and sang, which had led to her becoming stronger. Perhaps it worked the same way?

Aogashima nodded, happy to have her new senshi friend's approval, and produced her mp3 player from subspace. There were a couple of songs she could sing, but what could be more appropriate than the one she had sang on her wonder? If it had that kind of effect there, then surely it could have one here.

"Okay! This song is called Dreams are Forever Reborn," the squire said, and hit play, singing along with the familiar lyrics.

Aogashima paused and listened, and realized that she did indeed no longer hear the mysterious voice that was calling out to them not too long ago. She mulled over this for a moment, because she wasn't expecting their singing (and humming) to have that kind of effect, but ultimately shrugged it off, and decided she'd ask her sister about it later, maybe, since she was already planning on trying to bother her about the voice in the first place.

"I don't! That's weird, but maybe... it just wanted to hear us sing?" she offered, as silly as it was. That was pretty standard when it came to Aogashima's thought process, though.

"At least we don't have to run around trying to find it anymore!" the squire said, though it was unclear as to if that was a good thing or not, "Well, since the voice is gone now... do you wanna hang out for a bit? We could go clothes shopping! I bet I can find the cutest outfits for you..."
