Yuri was going to open the cafe again. He needed the money and the summer season was the best business. But she didn’t understand any of that.
She was concerned with why it was so hard to see the stars.
Yuri had tried to explain that summer was the worse season for stargazing, but Urania didn’t have seasons. He also tried to explain light pollution, but Urania had none of that either. Finally, he explained the moon and she had gotten impatient since she knew how the moon worked even if, once again, she didn’t have one on Urania.
So, that’s why she was trekking up a hill quite a bit aways from downtown. The view was supposed to be better, but she was beginning to wonder if there was anywhere on this planet that would give her a view like she had so long ago now on her world.
Her starry eyes took a second to adjust to the dark as it was quite a bit darker out here, but then she spotted someone on the top of the hill. Had her spot been already taken?
