When had Erytheia first noticed them? For the starseeds, the answer was quite simple. He’d found one on his first visit back to his wonder after the Star Mount Beacon had activated. It had just been floating there, plain as day. As if finding a starseed on Erytheia was the most natural thing in the world. Well, at least according to his ancestor Yuki, it was. Yuki had told him what the purpose of his wonder was a long time ago now. It was a resting place for starseeds on their journey back to the Galaxy Cauldron. It was one of the last stops, too. Yet even the ghost couldn’t tell him where Erytheia was in comparison to it. But the emphasis had always been just that — was. And that’s what brought him to the Moon Wells. They had actually been one of the first things he had found on his wonder, he had just not known it at the time. There had been little torii gates spread about the vastness of the windswept wonder, most in a state of ruin. Perhaps that is why he had never noticed what they were actually for. It wasn’t until life returned back to his wonder that the water did, too. ——— Erytheia spared no time in bringing his charge straight to the source. What was seen by Selinur was a similar scene that he’d shown the others. Except with one main difference. Each Moon Well had a torii gate, a stone circle and a crystal clear pool of water. Each varied in their own way, but they were all instantly recognizable. It was almost as if by design. But there was a glowing light at the center, hovering just over the pool. The light was green. “Ever since the Beacon lit after placing the Code Piece inside, these have been appearing at Moon Wells all over Erytheia.”And as you approached the edge of the rippling pool, you could see now what it was. A starseed. “I need your help guiding this starseed back home.”Quote: If you are playing a starseed, the primary way for it to communicate with your character is through the Moon Well. Starseeds cannot speak and can’t directly answer questions. They can, however, show you scenes from their life in the reflection of the water. If you are not playing a starseed, the same applies, except that the starseed will go on Erytheia’s turn. Erytheia can assist in interpreting what the starseed is trying to convey. Ultimately, it’s up to your character to determine the message it is sending and help it model ready to move on. ✪

"Starseeds...." He knew instantly what the object hovering was, he'd locked yes onto it the moment he could. He'd ignored the gate and everything around and had focused on the object. It was someones soul...a piece of what had once been a person - the most important part.
"Guiding it back home...to the Cauldron?" He questioned. Why wasn't it just going there on it's own? Shouldn't that be how it is...? That they just went on their way once they were ready? He was ancient, though not as old as some, but he'd never looked into how this all worked. Everyone knew starseeds went to the Cauldron and rested and when the time came - they were reborn.
That was a place he would like to visit - the Cauldron. He wanted to see if there was an area of staseeds from his own planet...so he could apologize for failing them all. He wanted to see them, the remaining bits of people he'd once known.
"Do I just order it or do I touch it and move it?" He didn't want to risk someones precious starseed, and their rebirth, by messing up and damaging the starseed. He still couldn't get over the idea that the Negaverse could crush and destroy starseeds...it was horrifying to think about.

“Yes. The Galaxy Cauldron is its first and final home. All starseeds must return there after they have lived their mortal life, no matter the planet where their life was lived.”Erytheia was certain Selinur knew more than most — having lived also so very long ago. “Cosmos has tasked her knights with assuring they are safe on their journey. This wonder is a resting place for those starseeds who may yet need more time to grow before embracing the cycle of rebirth.”The green starseed didn’t move and it barely even glowed. “Touching it is fine. Just be gentle. Especially with this one.”✪

"I'm aware." He was more than aware of it, he jujst wished he could go there himself and see the starseeds. He wanted to find the seeds which belonged to his own people and to his parents - to his direct family.
"We always burned our bodies and wished their starseeds a safe travel to the Cauldron so they could heal and be reborn when the time was right - we would be waiting. They are all now there waiting." To be reborn on Earth or for him to revive his planet...for it to be ready for them to return. He did hope they'd wait till Selinur was ready to recieve them again, though how life would start there again he wasn't sure, he wasn't sure he wanted them born on Earth. The planet was not their starseeds original home....
"Of course, it looks weak...has it just left it's host?" He questioned, wondering about that. Was it weak in glow because it was new to being free of it's host body.
Reaching out a hand, gentle and hesitent, to touch the starseed. "It will gain in energy soon enough and finish it's travel." So it could grow strong and heal in the Cauldron. "I would never risk harming a starseed - they are precious things."

Erytheia nodded. Selinur’s people must be waiting for him at the Cauldron. Or, could some of them have been reborn? The interworkings of the Galaxy Cauldron — and even Cosmos herself — was kept even from its appointed knights. “I’m not sure. This one has shown me nothing. Perhaps it will show you.”His amber eyes watched closely as Selinur reached out to touch the starseed. When he did, a ripple ran through the water like a wind through fresh grass. A vision appeared in the reflection of the water. It seemed to show a scene of a planet with two suns that were just barely visible above the horizon. The light shined on a barren landscape. Dust covered the ground and a single tumbleweed rolled. A young girl in a dress chased the weed. ✪

"They can show you things?" That he'd never heard. Was it the previous owners life? Was it every previous owners life or perhaps just at random which previous life it would show. It had to be memories - right? There was nothing else a starseed could show to people after all.
Two suns...there were a lot of planets with two suns. But instead of focusing on that he was looking over the rest. It looked like the planet had been wrecked by something devistating, at least it looked as such to him.
Focusing on the young girl he tried to make out whatever he could, anytghing which might tell him where she was wrom...or narrow the list of places down.

“Yes. It seems the Moon Wells on Erytheia allow them to show you memories for any of their former lives. I’m not sure if they can do so elsewhere, but it seems to be in interaction with the environmental features here that they can do so.”The reflection in the pool changed again, as if speeding up the scene. The girl now held the tumbleweed she had been chasing. She held it to her face as if looking inside it. The girl could have been no more than ten years old and yet she wore a tiara on her forehead, identifying her as a senshi. She reached a hand into the weed and gingerly plucked out some tiny seeds. Even in her small hand, they looked minuscule. Still, she held them as if holding a precious treasure. She brought them a ways away, passing by more of a barren landscape. There was no visible life here, not even plants. Yet she stopped at a clearing that initially didn’t look much different than where she had just been. She knelt on the ground and you could see from her point of view a small patch of soil. She delicately placed her find there and buried the seeds with her hands. Then, with the same dirt-stained hands, she whispered and cast a spell, light flowing from her hands into the dirt. But nothing seemed to happen. ✪

Any former life...there could be lots of options for some starseeds than, starseeds were reborn over and over again. he did wonder how often new ones came into being...or did that not happen ever? Had there already been a set number of starseeds out there and they were just shuffled about the cosmos as needed - as new lives were born. Had every starseed which would ever be needed already exsisting and had been since the beginning?
It wasn't something he'd ever pondered but it was an idea he was now considering, and thinking about, but he didn't know anyone who would know the answer to that aside from Cosmos herself. She might, if he could ever talk to her, answer the question though he wasn't sure if he could get an audiance with her. She was a very busy person and he didn't know if his need to find answers - to know things would be a worthwhile reason to take her from her duties. She didn't just act like a normal senshi and guard and protect a single planet...she guarded the Cauldron and all the starseeds resting, and healing, there.
"A dead world...it's a senshi starseed." Even more precious if you asked him. They must have just started the journey than....so they died recently? How recent though he wasn't sure, since time moved different for different planets. But recent enough he figured. Had she not made it long enough for that energy to have called her and brought her to Earth? Or had it not reached her...and she'd died not knowing a call had gone out - that it had missed her.
"Her home...it's dead." Like so many others. "But where is it...." And how long till she was reborn? Likely on this planet where she would join the fighting here.

“Where the world might be, I do not know.” Erytheia replied. It would be impossible to tell without a view from above, but it seemed they were stuck with the vantage point of the starseed and the person it had belonged to. The scene shifted and now the landscape reflected on the pool was one far more familiar — a city street at night. It could have been in Destiny City or any other similar urban area. There were no immediate landmarks visible and the dim street lamps hid any signs from view. It could truly have been any city. But what was certain was that this was Earth and this century, too. The young chibi senshi could be seen again running. But this time there was much more urgency. She was being chased by something — someone. And they were much faster than she was. A hand reached from behind. She didn’t even have enough time to scream. A hand forced its way to her starseed. Chaos visibly pluses into her chest. But, then, something resisted. The seed could not be corrupted and the hand was expelled. The agent stood above her now and looked down with disgust. There would be a change of plan. They summoned their weapon — a long pole arm taller than the senshi’s small body — and impaled her. Her body fell to the ground and from her hand fell a bundle of tiny seeds. ✪

As things played out he watched in horror as the small girl, a senshi once again, ran for her life and failed. At least she could not be corrupted, and forced to serve there side, but to die like that...a small chld and with such fear. He gasped and took a step back, though he did not let the starseed go, he pulled it gentlyh to his chest.
"She was reborn here....and died here on Earth - a terrible thing. She was too young." Too young to be awakened in the middle of a war. iIn space it wasn't so bad...most of the cosmos was at peace, it would never be entierly at peace, but at least most senshi were not awakened as children and pulled into a war.
"Perhaps this one will not awaken to a war again...." Perhaps things would be more peaceful the next time around and they could grow up and enjoy being a young one, as they should have.
"I just wish I knew which senshi this was..." He wished he knew what those seeds were also and what she'd been planning with them. Whoever had killed her he would find, he would find a way to find them, and he would kill them himself....he would avenge the little senshi who had died. He'd seen enough he was certain he could figure them out if he saw them ever.
"What do I do with this ones seed?"

The seed glowed and its energy was warm. It seemed to be responding to Selinur. The green light was brighter now, yet it wavered. “Perhaps this starseed should not have to see war again.” Erytheia relied. But he did not know. No one knew what life this one would live again, not how or when or where. Only Cosmos could hope to know something such as that. “What to do? That is up to you. But I think she is ready to listen.”✪

""Why is it up to me? Starseeds all go to the Cauldron and are reborn." There was, in his mind, never anything else which would or could even happen to them. It was still somewhat new that starseeds were being destroyed, though they were fragile things and he knew that.
Turning his gaze down onto the starseed he held he brought it close, eye level nearly. "I wonder...you've lived and seen war on Earth and a rest is certainly needed. It would be good to one day meet - under better circumstances. But first you need to go to the Cauldron so you can heal and grow strong again. It is a shame you died on your homeworld as you did, the last of your kind, and then to die here. Both times so young." Tilting his head, his ears folding down as he spoke in a softer voice.
"So many homeworlds have fallen but not all have done so. Some of us ancients still remain and we've come to Earth to help - to win the war and put an end to it. We'll rebuild the Cosmos...one planet and wonder at a time. Maybe when you are ready you'll find peace and your homeworld ready and waiting. But I wonder what you want..." Though this was the starseed of a senshi...they would want to see victory for them and peace - right? They would want to return to there homeworld...right?

“True. This one will eventually return to the Cauldron. They all do.” Erytheia said. But then he looked at Selinur seriously. “But how long it takes this one to get there does depend on you.”The starseed glimmered as if listening to Selinur’s words. It seemed to shine when it liked his words and blink out when it didn’t. It many ways, it reacted like a child, bright and sincere when it heard what it liked, but petulant and coy when it didn’t. “It doesn’t seem to like war. See how dour it gets? Try telling it more about rebuilding.”✪

"Of course they didn't like war - they were a child." At least they looked it, though looks could be decieving when dealing with aliens like himself. He certainly didn't look his age...and he wouldn't for a long time. He knew this starseed might have been female the two times he saw but they also might have had a male form to inhabit before as well, so he was addressing it properly he figured.
"While things may now be dangerous, and we might be at war, it won't last forever and you'll be reborn for it - I'm sure of it. We'll make sure it's safe for you and other starseeds to be reborn...so you won't have to fight again. You'll get to live peacefully - perhaps even being reborn to your home planet. We're fighting for space now too. Us ancients, those who survived, have come to Earth to help and to reclaim it and to rebuild space with help." Space would, in time, be rebuilt as he'd help see to it happening.
The ancients, as he considered himself and others similar, to bewould not let space go so easily. They had come from there and would likely all wish to return and rebuild...tor eclaim what had been lost. They'd help the Earth and work together in order to achieve such goals; even he'd help.
"It'll be a long rest for you but we'll be readying things for you and others, trust us. We fight for Earth, ourselves and those who are not alive but will be in time. But you need to rest little starseed - you need to let us work and trust in your fellow senshi. We're strong." So was the Negaverse, and he knew it, but they wouldn't let the other side win - they couldn't. Too much was on the line and he knew it.
"Maybe you'll get a place in the cauldron next to my own people and you can let them know I'm still alive and fighting."

The starseed stopped its flickering and kept still. It was the closest indication yet that it was listening. It was so close to Selinur’s face now that you could see its crystalline structure. There was a small orb of light inside the seed. “It seems to like you.” Erytheia smiled now, that brief period of seriousness gone. If this one would settle for the senshi’s full speech, it must be really taking it in. It wasn’t until Sailor Selinur’s final sentence that the starseed began to move again, as if in response. It twirled and moved from side to side and it suddenly started to glow extremely brightly. And then it let out one big pulse of light. And, as if attracted to the sudden light, a green butterfly appeared — its wings glowing and translucent — and landed to rest on the starseed in the deep space senshi’s hands. ✪
