- GENERAL FAUSTITE Welcome to the interest thread for another event! This one is Negaverse only, as it revisits a part of the Rift that was explored in a previous event!
The call for volunteers for this mission will have gone out over the tablets, courtesy of Headache (Faustite's youma). Characters may attend due to the tablet message, or they may have heard of the mission by word of mouth, or a superior may have asked them to attend. Per a prior RP, all characters must be attending voluntarily.
Characters will be collected into teams and let loose in a building with peculiar ramifications and an even more peculiar storyline. Participating characters can expect 2 regs and 1 battle if participating in the event fully. The event will open on 12/19/22.

What to Expect
and what to know. Anyone aligned with the Negaverse may participate! There are no rank, subfaction, or activity requirements. Your character does not need to have been in the Scar event to participate, but there may be some concessions for having done so! If you do not have a Negaverse character but want to participate, I can ask the staff about disposables!
This event will split into multiple threads run in tandem, mainly for ease of organization. There will be no need to revisit previous threads. That said, the event has two main phases, which means players can claim one reg and one battle for any eligible character, or two battles depending on what happens in those threads. There will also be an optional briefing thread that will be posted on 12/12/22. OOC participation is not necessary, but ICly, it will be assumed that your character attended!
Prompts will be posted every 48 hours. Please do not reserve posts!
Each thread may be a mix of combat, puzzle, or story depending on how characters investigate. Each of these encounters will shine light on the youma mystery, the building's origins, and the events that took down the building respectively.
All characters will receive a new IC RP item at the conclusion of the event. To be eligible, you must reach at least 500 words with at least one character.
There may be more hot, fresh things coming out of this event, so please come and participate heart

and optional roles. The form is primarily so I can gauge what sort of interest this event will have, and what kinds of characters that will be participating. If you are hesitant about whether or not you will have time to participate, please let me know in your sign-up post! I'm happy to work with you so your character doesn't fall behind as a consequence of RL. heart
Of note: Characters that are second stage+ may take up leadership roles! If you elect to do this, please make sure you can post in a timely manner. If you can't, please make sure you can communicate any directives with the characters answering to yours! Preference may be given to some of Faustite's team if they sign up for leadership, and the number of leadership roles may be adjusted depending on the number of sign-ups.
