Animals – Henry’s love for animals began with the family pets, an affectionate dog and a slightly more aloof cat who nonetheless earned Henry’s love and devotion. His interest spread to other animals as he grew. Living on a property with a lot of land just outside the city, he was fortunate to grow up around a variety of animals. He likes all of them, but can’t pretend his fascination with repites isn’t stronger.

Water Activities – Coming from a naval family, Henry was probably fated to be predisposed to water. He loves swimming and took lessons as a baby, so he’s skilled enough now that his parents don’t have to worry too much when he wants to dive in. He enjoys trips to the beach and the Destiny City reservoir, and likes to spend a summer afternoon in the family’s pool. His family also has a few boats; Henry likes to learn as much as he can about them, in the hopes that he might one day be trusted with his own.

The Outdoors – Henry loves to be outside. After a day of school and homework, there’s nothing better than heading outdoors to swim or play a game of baseball, or explore all the local parks and other areas of interest around the city. Rain or shine, he’d rather be out and about than cooped up inside.

Virtues:

Compassionate – Henry is a warm-hearted boy who wants the best for everyone. He is charitable by nature and treats others humanely, both people and animals alike. It doesn’t take much to earn his sympathies. He likes to think there’s good in every one, even if his parents have impressed upon him the need to be cautious around others.

Earnest – Diligent, heartfelt, and genuine, Henry isn’t embarrassed to demonstrate his sincerity. He encourages others with honesty and hopefulness, and possesses a confidence of his own that’s apparent to others, but not boastful.

Flaws:

Self-Righteous – Due to his kind heart and high morals, Henry can seem a bit self-righteous. He knows right from wrong, and he isn’t afraid to prove it to others. His parents taught him well, but because of his youth, he has been known to take it too far. He doesn’t always understand why others might not agree with him, having had very few life experiences to learn from.

Headstrong – Though he is generally good natured, Henry certainly has a stubborn streak. He can be impulsive and contrary, and can occasionally fall into an uncompromising mood regarding topics he has a strong opinion on. He’s a determined little boy with a strong backbone.

28. Paris was a ballerina with the Destiny City Ballet company before Henry and his twin were born. She ended up leaving the company to focus on her family. These days, she teaches discounted dance lessons at the community center, and helps one of her old instructors with her studio. Paris is a warm and affectionate mother, but a bit of a worrier, too.

30. Chris is a professional baseball player with the Destiny City Comets, serving as their star pitcher. He travels a lot for games, which means he isn’t home all the time, but he’s an active parent when he’s around and brings home gifts when he’s on the road for a particularly long stretch. Henry takes after his dad a lot, from his appearance to his mild manners.

7. Abby, as she’s known to most people, was born minutes after Henry, but she doesn’t accept her role as the younger twin as a position of inferiority. Despite her love for frilly clothes and sparkles, Abby isn’t afraid to get dirty. She’s active and fun-loving, and even more headstrong than Henry. Henry does his best to keep up with her. They’re both equally protective of one another.

5. Elsie would be Paris in miniature, but she doesn’t have as much of an attitude. Like her older sister, she has a fondness for fills and sparkles, and though she can be just as active and playful, she’s more careful and less inclined to get dirty while she does it. Princesses, fairies, and unicorns are her primary interests. A daddy’s girl, Elsie has Chris wrapped around her little finger.

67. Ever since her husband’s death, Claire has taken up residence in the mother-in-law suite of her middle child’s house. She can frequently be found in the kitchen, cooking, baking, and spoiling her grandchildren with snacks, not to mention endless affection. She used to be in the Navy, but left to raise a family, and is now a philanthropist and socialite.

Would be 72. Deceased at age 71. Beau died unexpectedly, and his passing had a tremendous impact on the family. He was an Admiral in the Navy, where he originally met Claire, and had only recently accepted his retirement. To satisfy his need to tinker, he would design and build playhouses and swing sets for his grandchildren by hand.

37. A teacher at Azure Valley, Michael likes to keep to himself, but will always come around whenever he’s needed. He used to be in the Navy; Henry suspects he didn’t have the best experience. Though Henry takes after his father a lot, he gets his love of the water from Michael and Beau. Michael isn’t the best with kids Henry’s age and younger, but Henry appreciates that Michael doesn’t treat them like babies.
