You have the misfortune of running into these same dogs. They cling to the shadows as you go about your way at night. Seemingly at the corner of your vision, one flickers by, and you turn and see nothing. Again and again it happens. They are trying to drive you into the darkest corners of the city, herding you away from the light. In the nearby distance are the lights of the city: streetlights, signs, traffic. You have to do something to get there, to escape these creatures. When you make it to any significant light source, you hear a low growl, a wailing hiss; the dogs have vanished. For now. Versailles wouldn't have normally wandered the city park in his powered form, but he had heard stories of these dogs that appeared to be attacking people and well, even if he didn't enjoy being a Corrupt, it was still better than being a civilian and attempting to fight some dogs with only your human strength. Still, the fact that they chased them into well-lit areas was a little detail that was interesting. If that was the case, Versailles didn't believe he would have much of a problem chasing them off. What he might have trouble with was the Knight aura that he felt. Somehow it felt even more powerful than a regular Knight's. He had shivered when he first felt it, if only because of how wrong it felt compared to the chaos that swirled within him. The other was hoping they weren't going to attack him just because he was a Corrupt. He was attempting to purify after all, and while he had made some connections, he hadn't yet learned what the catalyst was to purify. He had to meet someone sure, but who? And would they be available?

“You know, it might not be safe out here tonight.”Erytheia had felt the aura partly because he had been searching for one and partly because it wasn’t what he was searching for. He had heard rumors of feral dogs in the area. He assumed they were youma and, thus, he was looking for a youma aura when he felt the senshi. “Rumor has it that there are feral dogs out here. I’d suspected youma, but there are none with you.”He said this all too friendly and he was holding a bag of something — candy? — in his arms, his weapon out of sight. Come to think of it, ‘not youma’ tended to appear around… well, now. Halloween did seemed to do something to Destiny City and it never was good. It wasn’t the first time he’d come across ‘feral’ animals. And it probably wouldn’t be the last time either. Where did these thing come from, anyway? They weren’t Chaos. Not on-brand Chaos. not even off-brand Chaos. ✪

Versailles couldn't help but take a moment to look at the Knight. Interesting. He shook his head. "No, I don't have any Youma with me. Though from what I know Youma don't usually like to hang around Corrupted Senshi either." He didn't care if that was new knowledge to the Knight. He was getting out of the Negaverse one way or another. He heard noises from an alleyway and looked in that direction before turning back to the Knight. "I'm out here powered up because of the feral dog rumors myself." He said with a nod. "I haven't sensed any Youma aura out here either."It was then that he heard a louder noise and growling that accompanied it and turning in the direction he had heard it from before, he could now see something moving and took a step away from where they were. "I have no idea what they could be." He said with a sure voice. At least, he thought if it was a Youma it would be radiating an aura. These appeared to have no aura at all.

The knight had assumed youma and corrupted senshi would be together. It, at least, could be. But he admitted he didn’t really know much about it. He had assumed since he had seen Negaverse agents with their own youma, maybe… But the thing didn’t have to be a youma to cause its own kind of chaos. “I don’t sense a thing, either. Well, that rules out youma.”Erytheia smiled. The senshi didn’t seem to be going anywhere, perhaps… “Would you like some help dealing with them? They are certain to be a threat to civilians, whatever they are. Erytheia. You?”✪

Versailles couldn't help but raise a brow. "Versailles. Senshi of Splendor." He said giving the other a smirk. It wouldn't be bad to work with an Order Senshi for now at least, as long as they didn't catch any Chaos auras besides his own. "I would just make sure to be on the lookout for any more chaos, even if these aren't Youma, we could still be attacked by another Agent. Though I'm sure you know all of that." Unless the Knight was brand new and had someone climbed to power incredibly quickly, he doubted the other had no experience with them. He took another step back from the alleyway, and a bit from Erytheia just to give them more room to attack the "dogs". Versailles gave the other a wave of his hand. "After you." And one of the dogs leapt out at them!

“As long as Chaos doesn’t cause any trouble, I give it its berth. Besides, you seem nice enough protecting civilians and all.”Erytheia smiled again. He liked when it was simple. No need to stress about who was Order, who was Chaos. Just keep the streets safe for those privileged enough to not know firsthand about the things that god bump in the night. “Not sure what your magic does, but mine prefers a bit of distance.”He shot an arrow from his bow at the dog, kiting it. ✪

Versailles would have rebutted that he hasn't actually been protecting civilians but himself, however he decided that this wasn't the best situation to admit that in. Especially since the Knight had just sent out one of his arrows attacking one of the dogs. At least they would most likely not be fighting tonight, something Versailles much preferred. He couldn't help but smirk. "Mine might not effect these dogs the way they usually do others, but I think it should do the trick. Share the Splendor." He said with a snap and focusing on one of the "dogs". Suddenly a light shined down on it and on the sides of a few others within a 10 foot radius and they disappeared. "Humans, and I suppose the aliens, usually get distracted by that. But if these dogs don't like the light, then that should be enough. However... I can only use it once more." He said with a shrug. "So you'll probably be able to take out more of these things than I will."

The arrow that Erytheia shot had lit up like a shooting star, but it didn’t produce light nearly as much as the corrupt senshi’s magic did. “I might be able to take more out,” he said as he he loaded another arrow quickly. A dog fell silent in the shadows. “But your magic might be a bit more useful here than you think.”He pointed to a dog that was keeping to the dark alley and not coming out to where the street lamp illuminated the street. “They don’t seem to like the light very much.” The knight rounded the back as he picked off one that had started to retreat. “Do you think you could use that magic once more? I’ll make sure none can escape from the back and then you attack from the front and they shouldn’t be able to avoid the light.”✪

He watched as the Knight moved and did have to admit that the Knight had a decent plan. He just had to make sure that the other kept his end of the strategy. "It can be done, as long as you do what you say you will." He said smirking a bit. Even if he was trying to get on the White Moon side it didn't mean that they would trust him. Though this Knight didn't appear to be that interested in fighting. Perhaps if he saved his energy he could teleport away if need be. He waited for the Knight to say they were in position before he used his magic again. "I'm ready whenever you are!" He said, watching as the "dogs" got closer.

The knight did as he said he would, rounding the back while picking off any strays with his arrows. “Ready!”He kept the last arrow loaded just in case any escaped Versailles’s magic. ✪

He nodded. "All right then. Share the Splendor!" He said loudly and with a snap of his fingers. The dog that Erytheia had pointed out was the one that Versailles had targeted and it seemed to light up almost the entire alleyway and he could hear the "dogs" yelping as the light hit them. He smirked. "It's up to you now Knight!" He said as he could see most of the "dogs" disappearing. There were still a few, enough to get a few bites, but definitely not as many as there had been before. Versailles magic was useful in some situations besides distractions it seemed.
