Ready to start whenever you are. Here's my opening post:

Fluttershy had tumbled through a magic portal during a fight against one of the Mane 6 ponies' enemies. She bumped her head when she landed, which gave her a concussion and erased some of her memories.

She didn't know where she was but she had landed in a pretty town full of quaint houses, surrounded by green lawns, fountains and trees. She didn't know it but she was now in Barton Town. The poor toddler had arrived naked and confused, only to be found by some kind strangers who brought her to one of Barton's many orphanages.

The staff had not been able to find any traces of where she came from or any family. However, recently, a woman had been approved to adopt the anthro toddler pony as her own.

Fluttershy nervously waited for her new Mommy. She sat in the playroom, rolling a ball nervously in her hands between her hoofed feet as she frowned, sitting in a corner all by herself. She didn't know anyone here and was too shy to talk to the other kids.

Fluttershy heard hoofsteps coming towards the room she was in and stopped playing with her ball, hugging it to her shyly. She looked up and saw a very pretty anthro pony lady with dark velvet fur and wings and blue hair with a pair of green headphones. Her eyes were bright red and she had a green and blue striped pony tail above her bottom. Fluttershy stared at her, peeking through her pink curtain of hair that was flopped over her eyes. She eeped softly as Heart of Darkness addressed her, her little wings fluttering nervously.

She returned the smile she was shown, giving a sweet shy one. “Ah..s-sorry. I…get scared easily” the foal uttered in a soft whispery voice. She looked happy being told that this pretty lady wanted to be her friend. Fluttershy was very lonely here. She was always too afraid to talk to or play with the other kids or the adults. “Oh, t-that would be lovely. I like friends” she said softly, fidgeting with the ball in her lap. “S-sure…we can play!” she stammered.

She took a moment to gather her courage, then rolled the ball towards Heart. “C…catch?” She wondered if this beautiful mare was going to be her new mommy. She heard her talking with the daycare owner about adopting her. It would be wonderful to have a family.

She had no one here in this world that she knew, and couldn't remember the place she came from. Sometimes she got flashes of memories or dreams...but they were gone quickly.

Fluttershy had no idea that she was in the same orphanage Heart of Darkness had been in as a child. The other children and adults were friendly and helpful. It was just hard for her because she was so shy and when she whispered and they couldn't hear her, she got embarrassed having to repeat herself. So, she kind of dug her own hole in that situation. When she got overwhelmed, she would close up and retreat, so they'd just leave her alone.

She had a feeling that she used to have friends, ones she could trust and talk to who accepted her for who she was. But it was hard to make new friends in a new environment. She didn't know anybody here at all. And no matter how hard she tried to remember, no memories of past connections came up.

She saw the look of joy on Heart's face, which made Fluttershy smile. She seemed so nice and friendly. Fluttershy liked the way Heart spoke to her, blushing as she was called pet names and joked with a bit. She giggled at the part about not biting. Her ears perked up, she liked apples too! Actually...a brief image of an orange pony floated in her mind's eye along with a pattern of tiny red apples. What did it mean? "I...I like apples" she mumbled softly.

She watched Heart catch the ball when she threw it, smiling. Fluttershy readied herself to catch the ball once it was thrown back, but saw it sail through the air, right across the room and knock a bunch of toys off the shelves. She couldn't help but laugh at Heart's actions and reply. "I-it's okay!" she giggled some more "That was funny!" Fluttershy tittered. "Maybe try again. I'm sure you can do it!" she encouraged in her quiet whisper. She watched her tidy up the toys, noting her good example. She wanted to go over and help but was a bit too shy right then. She needed to build trust before she could approach the lady.

Fluttershy watched Heart crouch and roll the ball back to her. She leaned over with her yellow hands reaching out, but it went around her by a metre wide. "Oops! Tee hee!" The little filly got onto her hands and knees and crawled to the ball as it stopped, a thick diaper wrapped around her bottom crinkling. It was printed with pastel hearts and butterflies. She was wearing a short, frilly pink dress on her top half, with layers of ruffles. She got the ball and turned back around to face Heart. "It's okay...you can always try again. I can help. If you want..." she said, pushing the ball towards the dark pony.

Fluttershy was finally starting to feel happy. She had someone to play with. "Umm...are...you...are you my new Mommy?" she asked her shyly, fidgeting on the spot. "A-am I going home with you today?"

Fluttershy saw that Heart was embarrassed about her clumsiness. She felt a little bad for laughing then (especially since she was tall, gangly and rather clumsy herself as a filly) but when the other pony was cheered by it, she then relaxed and her guilt faded. Fluttershy didn't like to be unkind.

Heart of Darkness was correct in her thinking: the ponies both came from the same original world. But now they were here in Gaia, where everything was different. Little did they know, there were also ponies in this world but they were different than the ones in Equestria.

Fluttershy was always glad to help. "I..I'm not sure about that. I'm kind of clumsy too" she admitted, "I just roll the ball because it's easier" she added, blushing as she recalled that she still hadn't mastered walking on two legs yet. She was that wobbly and unsteady on her feet. Because she was used to walking on all fours in her more equine persona. This body balanced differently. Not to mention, Fluttershy was a weak flier, especially when she was anxious or afraid. She couldn't even use her wings to fly yet. And to make matters worse, she was still very much a baby, developmentally. Other kids seemed to reach milestones and grow up faster than her. She didn't know the reason was because she was turned this way by a spell from Nightmare Moon. "But...practice makes perfect. I'll cheer you on! Even if it takes five years"

The sweet filly offered. "I'm no expert. So perhaps we can get better together" When she rolled the ball back to Heart, she saw a flash of determination cross her face. Until Fluttershy distracted her by talking. "Oh! I'm sorry!" the filly whispered apologetically as the ball whizzed straight past Heart. She waited for her response with bated breath, her heart daring to fill with hope. It almost hurt.

When she heard what Heart of Darkness had to say however, she broke into a bright smile, her soft pony ears perking forwards. "You...you really mean it?! Y-you'd want to be MY mommy?" she asked, her heart beating faster. "I...I'd love to go home with you" she said, blushing pink as she looked down, hiding behind her pink forelock. "I...I know that's a lot to ask, though" she whispered. But she didn't want to be here any longer. She couldn't keep living like that.

The pony peeked up at Heart as the older continued to speak, canting her head slightly. "Y-you would?! Oh, th-thank you so much! Y-you don't have to do all that just for me" she peeped, fidgeting her hands together. She didn't want to ask too much and make her new mommy mad. Or be a burden on her. She did trust Heart and she was sure she was sincere. But she just didn't want her to get tired of taking care of such a little filly who couldn't do much for herself.

Fluttershy giggled when Heart of Darkness remembered the ball was gone "I-it's okay!" she tittered. "I-if we go home...we can play some more there"

((I’m this dedicated to all of my rps. Lol. And that’s good to know. I guess I could say she’s clumsy right now because her motor skills are regressed to that of a baby filly))

Fluttershy would tell Heart that it’s okay not to be good at some things, and that everyone has different things they are good at, and things they are not. To her, it didn’t matter if Heart wasn’t good at ball games or if she was clumsy. It made her seem cute to the child. And more relatable.

Fluttershy blinked curiously at Heart of Darkness as she watched her react to her questions about coming home with her. She looked worried for a second when Heart seemed to feel faint. She wondered if she overwhelmed her new caregiver with too many questions. Or maybe she said something wrong? The warm and kind smile that appeared on Heart’s face soon reassured her though.

Fluttershy blushed brighter pink when she heard the black pony’s replies. “I…I…th…thank you, so much” she whispered, blinking as happy tears filled her eyes, wiping her hand across them “Y-you are so…so very kind and lovely. I’m not sure if I deserve someone so wonderful. Y…you are right. I do have those problems. It…has been hard for me. I don’t have any memories of before I came here, either…” she trailed off. She then sniffled and wiped her eyes once more, peeking up at Heart of Darkness through her pink hair. “Y-you were…like me? That…makes me feel better” she said and smiled shyly. “I would l-love for you to b-be my mommy!” she admitted. “Truth be told, I kept hoping someone so nice would come along. But I never thought it would happen so soon. M…mommy…I…I want to be the best kid and help you in life too. I…want to make you happy!” she said, her soft voice taking on a note of determination. She smiled at Heart promising to do her best. “M..me too”

Fluttershy blinked and then giggled softly as Heart mentioned the ball. “Ummm…well, I think it’s a toy for the children at the orphanage to play with. And…I wouldn’t feel right taking a toy away from them. They need it more than me, now” she said quietly. She looked up and her eyes sparkled at the offer to see her new home “OH! I…I would love to!” she burst out softly. “Yes…please. I would love to accompany you. I…I will be very good. I promise” she said earnestly, not wanting to cause her new parent any kind of trouble. “Umm…sure…if that would be okay” she replied, shyly scuffing a hand on the ground as though it was still a hoof. Pawing at the floor seemed natural to her.

The little filly hesitated but then began to crawl towards Heart of Darkness, her frilly pink dress fluttering as her wings shifted and she crinkled her way over. She gently sat up and wrapped her arms around Heart’s legs. “Mommy!”

((Ohh, well okay then. I'll make her get good at ball games quickly then. Since it's a natural talent. She'd probably love volleyball))

Fluttershy was a little embarrassed for crying but there were so many strong emotions today. It was a special situation that meant lots to both of them. Heart of Darkness was just such a nice and caring pony. She was wonderful. The filly couldn't help but love her. "O-okay, Mommy" she said, giving a teary smile. She couldn't stop her tears of happiness.

Fluttershy looked excited when Heart told her they were going to get toys. "Th-the toy shop?! Really? Yaaay!" she cheered in her soft little voice, clapping her hands together clumsily. Fluttershy frowned, unable to understand why it was so hard to move her body the way she wanted. Her hands didn't go together easily, she even missed clapping them a few times. She knew she was only a baby pony now but she couldn't help feeling like she was missing or forgot something. She had a strong sensation that she used to have more and better control than this.

Oh well, if she was clumsy, her new friend and companion would understand. She hoped she didn't cause trouble by it though. She didn't want to knock something over and break it. That wouldn't be nice to her new Mommy. Fluttershy blushed when she heard the mention of a pacifier and rattle. As much as she hated to admit it, she needed and craved both those things. When she was so upset that she couldn't calm down, or when she was scared or sleepy, a pacifier was extremely soothing. "I'll be happy with whatever we get, Mommy! I'm so lucky that I can go to the toy store. But...but I don't have money" she said "I...I don't want to spend too much on me. That would be selfish of me"

She didn't wanna be a financial burden on her new caregiver. Miss Heart needed money for bills and groceries and..and other grown up things! Clothes were another thing Fluttershy might need. At least for her top half. The bottom half would be fine in just a diaper...even though the filly didn't like her padded puffy bottom being on display for everyone to see. How embarrassing. It made her feel so foalish!

When she hugged Heart's leg, she felt a glow of happiness and love from her heart. She was so attached to this mare already. She gasped when she was picked up, but snuggled into Heart, hiding her face shyly against her shoulder as her soft ears flickered with a flutter of nerves. "Ah! Ahehe!" Being cuddled close was so nice. When Heart whispered to her, she lit up like a Christmas tree, her fur blushing bright pink as she squirmed happily from the praise. "Oh Mommy, y-you're too kind! Saying such lovely things to me. I...I can't really be all that!" she said, demurely waving off all the compliments while flustered. A piece of heaven? Fluttershy was sure she wasn't that good. After all, there were lots of things she couldn't do by herself and things she needed help with. She would cause work for her new mommy and take up her time and attention. She might even cause her trouble!

When they reached the office, Fluttershy's shyness overwhelmed her and she hid her face behind a hand, pulling her hair to hang in front of her face like a curtain. She eeped softly, hoping there weren't other people around. If it was just she and Heart of Darkness at the office, that would be easier and feel safer.

((Sure. Fluttershy can do that. Btw I think it's okay to be clumsy, have accidents or make mistakes. No one's perfect. I am acutally a huge klutz, lol. Always knocking things over, dropping things, tripping over stuff or bumping into things lmao X3 So I can empathise with Heart of Darkness. And with clumsy baby ponies cat_whee ))

Fluttershy just had a baby's motor skills due to being regressed. Her limbs were weaker and her coordination was less. But with time and practice, she would regain her abilities. Nightmare Moon really did a number on her. She regressed the poor pony physically as well as somewhat mentally.

The filly was so excited to hear they would go to the toy store first. "Okay!" she peeped.

With Heart giving her permission to celebrate as a special occasion, she didn't feel so guilty about making the mare spend on her. "I...I'm already having fun" she whispered softly, "Being with you is fun, Mommy" she said. She shyly nuzzled against Heart of Darkness.

Her soft ears flickered at the mare's words, "Ah...it's okay to treat yourself sometimes. I see... Yes, this is a very special day. W...we should celebrate" she smiled. Her eyes went wide when the Barton Market was mentioned too. "Oooo. I can't wait to see what kinds of things they have there. D...don't worry about me. I'm sure I won't become bored. I can even help pick out the shopping. E...eeep!" she covered her cheeks with her hands as she got flustered at the mentions of stuff she would need. And the promise of some new clothing. Fluttershy decided she would be as good as a filly could be for Heart. She clutched lightly to her new mommy's shirt, the scent of flowers and baby powder coming from her tiny figure. The anthro filly was soft indeed, her skin covered with a velvety peach fuzz of light fur.

Fluttershy gasped and tightened her grip when Heart stumbled, scared of being dropped. But her heart rate soon calmed when the dark mare regained her balance. Phew. She hid her face in Heart's shirt while her new Mommy talked to some people at the office and signed some papers. Meeting new people was a bit daunting for her. She could really only handle one new person at a time. Being carried was comforting to her, though. She was glad Heart didn't put her down.

As they left the orphanage and office behind, Fluttershy peeked through her curtains of pink hair while they walked the cobbled streets of Barton Town, Heart's hooves clip clopping. There was a big arena for art and magic battles, a guild building, a train station, a jewellery store, a giant building called a forum, a flower shop. And so many other stores.

Rina's cafe, Barton Boutique, Global Imports, a hair salon and tattoo parlour, an aquarium that sold fish, a car store, the furniture store and so many more. In the very middle of town there was a beautiful water fountain in a round centrepiece. Outside the fortified walls of the town lay the map of zOMG, Gaia's world. And of course there were the residential areas where everyone's houses were. There were clearings in between the towns which held parks, fountains and other nice places where you could find trash, hunt bugs, and even find gold.

And last but not least, there was the marketplace. It was made of all kinds of mini shops and stalls where you could find items at lower prices. Fluttershy began to jiggle slightly in Heart's arms when she caught sight of the toy store, "Oh my gosh...there it is!" she murmured to herself. Her diaper got warm as she wet from excitement, which made her quickly shut her mouth and glow pink. She knew she couldn't help it but it was still embarrassing. She hoped no one would notice. Thankfully her pampers were thick and very absorbent. So she only really needed changes every 4-5 hours.
