»»» BACKGROUND: Kyohei is the only son of quirkless Miharu Tomeo and telepath Miharu Shiori. His childhood was fairly typical: go to school, hang around other kids, do homework, sleep. As he got older, Kyohei noticed he was... different. One by one, his classmates and neighborhood friends had begun to discover their quirks, but in spite of how much Kyohei hoped and prayed and tried, his would not appear. They began to worry that, even though he had the typical physical attributes of one with a quirk, he was going to be quirkless like his father. He... didn't realize how heartbroken he would have been when he'd heard that news. It wasn't as if he'd particularly wanted to become a pro hero or anything, but the boy was kind of sad that he wouldn't have anything to wow people with. He felt subpar.

So, he worked himself to the bone. He knew he wouldn't be able to catch up to those with certain quirks, so he did what he could to make up for it. Kyohei worked to become more studious with better work ethic. If there was something he could not achieve, it was not for lack of trying. His parents became worried about him, fearing he was pushing himself too hard. Then, one day at the age of fourteen, his irises suddenly gleamed purple! He wanted his parents to stop worrying, and they did! He was fine! Better than fine! His quirk had finally appeared! A new person thanks to all the changes he'd made to himself in the previous years, the boy decided to put his energy into becoming a pro hero, determined to help others as he remembered what it was like to feel helpless.


███████ ABILITIES
»»» EYE OF THE BEHOLDER: If Kyohei touches someone, he can alter their perception of things. This goes for all the senses, though more powerful uses of this quirk involves more mental capacity before it can achieve its desired effect. For example, he can use it to alleviate or worsen pain, affecting only the sense of touch. He can also use it to place a person in a hallucination, but if he's altering their sight, smell, etc. for this, he needs to focus.
»»» PAIN KILLER: While he can't actually heal anyone, he can make it so they don't experience so much pain while waiting for treatment. He can temporarily shut even severe pain down completely. He likes this one very much.
»»» KILLER PAIN: Not one of his favorite moves, but this can help to debilitate an enemy. In spite of the name, it doesn't actually kill, but if he feels someone is stressing out to the point of actual damage, he'll either cut it off or alter it.
»»» REFUSE: This is more of a prank and not a move he'll admit he does. If someone is an a*****e, he'll make it so they can smell and taste nothing but refuse for the foreseeable future.

»»» OTHER SKILLS: Cooking. His father can't cook, so rather than eating instant food and take-away all the time, he's learned how to cook. He's by no means an iron chef, but he can take basic recipes and doctor them to make them really good, even without the use of his quirk.

»»» BACKGROUND: 『CW/TW: depression, suicide』 Noa's parents come from two VERY different worlds. Her mother Reiko had a fairly rough go of it. She and her mother got very sick when Reiko was a girl, and tried of taking care of them both, her father left. It wasn't long after that when her mother died and she was passed on from family member to family member until she finally found a home with her cousin Mai. ...her cousin who succumbed to depression and wound up committing suicide when Reiko was sixteen, but by that point, the girl was theoretically old enough to take care of herself. She would not fall to how cruel the world could be. Reiko would survive.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, Noa's father Timothy was living a completely different life. They weren't rich, but they could sure make people think they were if they wanted to. The men (and recently, some women) in Timothy's family had essentially been career military people back since the Civil War, so of course Tim wasn't going to spit on so many generations of tradition. He signed up with the Air Force as soon as he was allowed and off he went! He worked hard to learn the ropes and earn his place. Everyone around him knew his family's name, and he more than lived up to it. He traveled the world, stationed here and there. Italy was his favorite by MILES. And then he was stationed in Japan. The art, the people, the culture, the lifestyle... there wasn't a single thing Tim didn't absolutely love. Including Reiko, the young waitress he met at a bar one night.

And Reiko would take advantage of that.

It was simple. Find a nice army boy. Seduce him. Get pregnant. Free child support check straight from the US government every month. Tale as old as time. What she HADN'T planned, however... was falling in love.

And they fell. HARD.

She showed him how people survive when they don't have generations of luck and resources to fall back on. He showed her that the world wasn't as harsh as she had come to know it. The two of them made beautiful music together, both literally and figuratively, and when it came time for their daughter to be brought into the world, her name could only be Noa. Timothy didn't understand at first, but Reiko explained to him that the closest translation to English would be "of love". And that was Noa. Where desperation once was, Noa's little body formed along with the couple's love for each other. Their happily-ever-after is a little different from others', however. Reiko and Timothy never got married. Never bought a house together. Reiko was determined to take the land of her birth which had hurt her so and make it her b***h home, and Timothy still had the rest of his career ahead of him. So, the two of them parted ways to live their lives, though they do make plans to see each other as often as they can.*

Even though her father was seldom around, Noa knew she was loved. She saw how her parents looked at each other every time they met up. It was like they had missed their chance for "love at first sight", so they made up for it with every time she saw each other for the first time again. Still, Noa was their daughter. The sassiness she'd inherited from her mother forbade her from sharing this admiration for their adoration openly, so she instead ribbed them about it every time, too.

But this is a MHA RP! Noa's Quirk took a little longer than other kids' to manifest, but it was still within the range of average as far as her age went. Her power was very weak at first, only letting her move little things a bit. At first, they thought her Quirk was some form of telekinesis, but as time went on and her Quirk began to branch off into more specific techniques, they soon realized that Noa was creating and manipulating little fields of gravity! Tiny spheres in the beginning, only able to move very light objects very short distances in any direction, but as time passed and she got better at creation and control, she was able to move and hold larger objects. It was here that she realized what she could do. She could really... help people with this! But not by joining any military like her father. The streak of her mother in her wouldn't allow her to fall into rank and file, so she instead knew that she needed to become a pro-hero! She worked hard to get better even faster! Training to create bigger, stronger fields. Studying the physics behind gravity to learn what else she could do. Theoretically... Noa could be powerful. She wanted to get stronger. She wanted to find her limits, and then she wanted to shatter them.

So, here's to UA.

»»» GRAVITATIONAL POTENTIAL: Noa can place a field of gravity of varying size and potence in a diameter of about six feet with her at the center. With concentration, she can move it within her field of vision.
»»» GRAVITY WELL: Noa creates an intense point of gravity near her target strong enough to pull it/them into its orbit. She needs to focus to keep it intact since the point is so tiny but strong. If she loses control, it will explode with a rather concussive force.
»»» G-FORCE: AoE. A field is created, and the intensity of the gravity in this area can be increased and decreased. The smaller the field, the stronger the adjustment can be.
»»» HOLD ME: Gravity is a b***h. So, she makes it her b***h. Noa uses small gravity fields to support her boobs. Don't judge. She doesn't wanna spend fifty bucks on a bra.

»»» OTHER SKILLS: Fabulousness. It's a skill. Don't kid yourself. This also lends to her confidence, making it easy for her to bluff rather convincingly.
