Player Appreciation Event
The Destiny City Star Festival is a time for the community to come together and support each other while pushing for positive change and celebrating wholesomeness. To celebrate that, In the Name of the Moon would like to host a player appreciation event. Things haven’t always been easy, and we want a chance to provide some positivity to our players. We are fortunate enough to have some of the most creative, kind-hearted people amongst us and we want to take this opportunity to let them know how appreciated they are. To do so, we are asking that players send in kind messages to the shop mule, The Space Cauldron to be collected and shared with the player.
Messages sent in will only be shared with the player they are meant for and will not be posted publicly. If you would like to send a message to a player but wish to remain anonymous, please indicate that when you send in a submission. All submissions should be titled “Player Appreciation”. You may send in messages to multiple players in a single PM or send in multiple PMs. However, messages will only be shared with players who have posted in the guild at some point in time between May 1st and July 10th. You can find players that fit this criteria by looking at the latest posts in the guild. If there is a player that is important to you that hasn’t posted in the shop during this time, you can always message them directly to share kind messages and well wishes. Messages will be sent on July 11th.
If someone wants to be exempt from receiving any kind messages, they can simply message the shop mule, The Space Cauldron to request not to be contacted with them.
In exchange for submitting a player appreciation message, players can either claim one free unarted civ or one permanent IC RP Item or Enhancement (or any non-exclusive event IC RP Item)! While you may send in multiple player appreciation messages, you will only earn one prize. For more information on IC RP Items, Enhancements, or IC RP Items, you can read about them here. Players claiming a free, unarted civilian will still need to have the character stamped before they come into play; if the character was previously stamped, please make sure the surname is still valid! These characters can only be human and cannot become Vanguardians or Deep Space Senshi; players can get these civilians regardless of their current Character Cap. We will also be updating our Character Cap Rules at the end of the event to allow more flexibility for players to claim unpowered civilians. More information will be available about this with our next shop update! You can only earn one unarted civilian character during the course of this event, so if you complete the Individual Participation Rewards as well, you cannot earn a second one.
Player Appreciation messages must be at least two sentences; once you send one in you can post in this thread to claim your prize; you can edit your prize until the end of the event. If you are claiming an item, you don’t have to choose the specific IC RP Item/Enhancement but you do need to claim it and add it to your IC RP Item Log; if you are claiming an unarted civilian you must link to their quest. If you don’t want to claim for a prize you don’t have to, but after July 10th this thread will be locked and players won’t be able to claim a prize!
