The winds of his wonder were ever present. They rose across the plains like they had since the first day he had come here. Yuki had called them cosmic winds and had said they had been quiet until Erytheia had awoken. But now there was something strange in the wind. This situation just kept getting stranger. He sighed as he spotted another friendly aura. Should he get another opinion? Ida had been pretty certain of what she knew and didn’t know about the dead zone of plants on his wonder. And was that page holding a jar of dirt? Well, maybe he might know something. Erytheia waved at him, trying not to look too desperate. ✪

It didn't matter whether Antisana was powered up or down; the youma seemed to hunt him specifically and constantly. Without rhyme or warning, everywhere, all the time. He didn't know why. He didn't know how they could find and target him even as a civilian with no aura. The Negaverse's agents didn't seem to have that ability. He'd never come in contact with even one of them. Just youma. Just youma, without reprieve, any time of the day or night, whether he was prepared or not (and he frequently wasn't; he was exhausted constantly).
He'd started to feel safer when powered up. Not only did it come with the trickle of added energy with the shroud of Antisana's protection around him, but he could perceive the youma before he saw them, this way. Indra didn't have that ability. Indra often found himself attacked without warning and unable to do anything about it. Even his home and his work weren't safe.
So it was just better to stay powered whenever possible. Even if his aura let agents know he was in the vicinity, it did the same for other senshi and knights.
And Antisana was secretly quite pleased to have been able to meet so many allies, and it made him feel more secure to know that there were dozens and dozens of other knights just in the city, alone. When he was powered up, the aura of his allies was something of a reassurance. Even if not near enough to see them, Antisana felt relief just to know there were others nearby. Just in case. If he needed somewhere to run for help (because his little dirt jar was hardly a weapon at all), in the direction of Order signatures was best.
He'd been walking home from work. It used to be a routine drive home from work, but Indra only had to have one bad encounter there to decide that this was a task better left to Antisana.
This time it wasn't just the sensation of another aura that made him feel at ease, it was a physical presence, and one he recognized, at that. Given the other man's almost meek wave, Antisana suspected Erytheia didn't recognize him, but Anti recognized the Cosmos knight. Even though he didn't feel any unfriendly auras, he couldn't help but think that the Knight looked as if something was... off.
"Erytheia," Antisana murmured as he approached, giving a slight incline of his head in greeting. And then, because he was certain it was customary to inquire over the wellbeing of someone he hadn't seen in a while, he asked, "Are you well? You may not remember me, but I was at your wonder a few months ago. My name is Antisana." Given the man's strained expression and the task so many had been at Erytheia's wonder to complete, he had to continue, "Is everything... as it should be there?"

“Oh! Antisana. I remember you now.” How could he have forgotten someone who had helped him back then? It was likely the lack of sleep or maybe it was the scar that had finally healed or maybe it was the stress of going to his wonder every chance he got… Is everything... as it should be there?Everything in his body wanted to scream, ‘absolutely-the-hell-not’. But, instead, he said: “Umm… not exactly.”And he shifted as awkwardly as it was possible to shift. ✪

If he really looked at the other knight and tried to piece together the situation, maybe Antisana would have better luck providing whatever solace was appropriate. He canted his head slightly, fixing the other boy with an unblinking, quizzical look. Maybe he looked a little tired, but that was probably just A Knight Thing. Maybe a little meek. Maybe a little fidgety. Maybe a little awkward.
...He didn't really know what any of that meant, though, and couldn't say with any degree of certainty what was 'normal' for Erytheia to begin with. Maybe this was a pointless exercise. People were difficult things to understand. He glanced away.
And then came the admission that everything was not fine. Antisana had no idea what he could even begin to offer Erytheia in terms of assistance. His own wonder was a bit of a dreary place, being dark and secluded and devoid of most other life, so he didn't think his compared much to Erytheia's. Neither did he expect his experience, wisdom, or strength to be useful. The other man surely had more of that than Antisana could properly fathom. He could only barely even offer camaraderie, being a particularly poor suit of his... But it was probably inappropriate to offer nothing, even if just a body to talk to.
"Is there anything I can do to help?" He asked, voice low and soft. "I am not confident I would know how to fix whatever is not right on your world, but if it would help you to speak out loud about it, I do not mind listening."

“You would definitely be of help. You’ve helped before. And I’m not sure if this problem is connected to the one before.”His voice lost some of the akwardness, but he spoke fast as if he were holding it in and it was just now flowing forth. “A strange patch of land on my wonder, which had just recently bloomed many flowers, is now devoid of life. It’s basically just dirt and ash now.” He looked to Antisana’s jar of soil. “If you would like, I can take you there. It may be easier to show you than to describe it.”✪

He would hardly classifying throwing rocks at a tree as 'helping' with the issue that had previously been on Erytheia, but he had at least been to the wonder before and might be of more use than someone who had never been? Antisana was still unconvinced; this felt like a recipe for him to let someone down. But if the knight had no other options...
"A strange patch of land?" Antisana echoed quietly, eyes narrowing a fraction as his head canted slightly. His own wonder was devoid of most life. Even vegetation was scarce in the darkness of Antisana's caves. But he had noticed something odd in his past-self's personal quarters: a blackened patch of cave Earth with an ashy smell. He wouldn't have thought much of it, except for it was one of the only caverns he was very familiar with, and that scent had never been there previously.
He wouldn't say he had experienced something similar to what Erytheia described until he better saw what the other knight was dealing with, so Antisana gave a crisp nod of his head. "If you are not opposed, I would like to see," he admitted at last.
As an offering of his willingness for the journey, Antisana extended a hand toward the other knight.

Erytheia grabbed Antisala’s hand and whisked him away to his wonder. And the land they now stood on didn’t look much different than the soil in his weapon. The area clearly had once had flowers and many of them. In the distance, not far away really, you could see what the land once was. White lilies. But where they stood was not much more than soil and ash. “This patch of land was once not like this at all, but it’s been like this now for over a month and all it does is spread farther into the fields and into the very soil.”✪

It was difficult to say with any certainty if it was the same type of land sickness on Erytheia as it was on Antisana. These wonders were ancient; it seemed improbable that nothing would be wrong with them, even if Erytheia had already served and solved the problems of his a great deal longer than Anti had. The decay around them as they landed in a field of once-flowers did seem more worrisome than Anti could recognize on his own wonder. A whole ring, with everything inside it baked dead and crumbling away... The damage here was obvious, in plain sight, whereas on Antisana, nearly all the indication he had that something was awry was-
"This smell," Antisana muttered, slate eyes narrowed at the ground beneath his feet as he crouched to skate long fingers across the earth. "This is the smell on my wonder too," he admitted. "Like something has been burned." The blackened and desiccated plants crumbled at his touch, delicate as it was. "My wonder has very little plant life. What I saw was just scraggly mushrooms and a thin layer of ash along the walls. ...And this smell."
He wished he knew more, wished he had some wisdom he could share, but so much of his energy was going into just staying alive through all the constant youma attacks. Antisana barely had much else to give for some black spot on his wonder...
"It spreads?" Antisana echoed quietly. "I only noticed the area on my last visit; I have only seen it once." And didn't have the information to know what had brought it there or what it was doing. Was it spreading? He might have thought it was due to some Chaos leech that had latched onto him during a scuffle, but... Would Erytheia really have that problem too? "Have you taken any measures to restore it? Anything basic: watering or fertilizer? Something to that degree?" Not that he expected it would do anything, but it probably wouldn't hurt to try.

“The smell?”He had noticed the lack of the sweet smell of the flowers. And it was all he had thought of it as. A lack. But then he bent down and smelled the soil. Antisala was right. It had its own scent — of smoke and ash and fire. He had a patch of soil and dead flower in his hand when he suddenly turned to the page. “Wait! Did you say on your wonder?”He had a very worried expression on his face. “Yes. It spreads. But I never would have thought it would appear on another wonder that didn’t have plants. And it’s resistant to my healing magic.”He had begun to think it was some disease of the flowers, but from what Antisala had described on his own wonder, it didn’t seem like that was the case at all. It seemed like it could theoretically spread anywhere. Which was much more worrisome. ✪

Antisana gave a quiet, affirmative nod at Erytheia's worried expression. Whatever it was attacked traces of life, not just plants. He had a few scattered mushrooms, but the scent of fire and decay was stronger than that. He could see the off-color in the cave walls, could feel the stillness, the sadness... The other knight could have thought this distressing vegetation disease was some after-effect or symptom of whatever Chaos had poisoned his wonder a few months ago- But nothing similar had attacked Antisana's wonder, at least since he'd been its protector. ...Though he had been one of those to answer Erytheia's call for aid. He'd been on Erytheia while the Chaos attacked it...
He looked to the pile of ash in the other man's hands and smeared his boot through the decaying field as if he just brushed the death away, something green would spring forth. ...But it didn't.
His gaze fell, rather than face the Ery's worried eyes as he inquired, "Is there any chance it came from here?" He demanded softly, pointedly keeping his focus down less his eyes betray the accusation. "Could it be some disease that spread off of your tree while it was infected? That I- and any others who were here- took back to our planets?" Was it cruel of him to ask? He didn't want to imply that he blamed Erytheia, but...
Well, Antisana only had one place of peace, and he wasn't a senshi with an entire world he could use as refuge. He had only a few miles of underground caverns that he could visit once a month to escape the youma that constantly attacked him in Destiny City.
He couldn't afford to let Chaos pollute his haven. If there was nowhere safe for him to rest ever, it would mean his life.

Erytheia sighed. This would not be easy to explain. There was so much he still didn’t know. “Sailor Ida told me that she has seen it on other worlds. I do not know if it spread from here. If it has, it’s a very efficient spreader.”He knelt down and looked at the soil. “She said they all looked exactly like this. But I’ve yet to feel a Chaos aura and Ida did not report one either.”✪

He didn't know a Sailor Ida. Unsurprising, since Antisana wasn't the most social. But not knowing the name meant he had nothing to base a judgement of her reliability off of. How much was he willing to trust the word of someone he'd never met? Likely very little in an unfamiliar situation. ...But he hadn't felt a Chaos aura on his world, either. And didn't feel one now on Erytheia's. And if Sailor Ida was also investigating the dead spots, maybe he should try and meet with her, if she would allow it...
"How long did it take you to feel the presence of the Chaos seed we fought here months ago?" Antisana asked instead.
Despite having been present for its removal, and hearing some about its manifestation, Antisana still didn't entirely understand how Chaos had come to grow on a knight's wonder. If it had been there all along- But that was why he was asking: to better understand. Erytheia's experiences would surely help him preserve the sanctity of his own Wonder.
Provided he wanted to speak of it. Antisana's brows knit. Perhaps it was too forward of him to think the Cosmos Knight would want to discuss something so personal with someone he barely knew. "Rather, is it acceptable to speak of it?" He offered as an afterthought.

“I felt the need he second I first found life here.”Erytheia did not hold back answers. “A small magenta butterfly appeared near the tree where we found the Chaos Seed. Yuki seems to think it had laid dormant until that moment. It is something he had fought when he was the knight of Erytheia and thought that he had sealed away.”✪

"A butterfly?" The only life on his world were the few scattered, phosphorescent plants that had taken root in some of the tunnels. Antisana had never seen actual animals or insects roaming around. ...Maybe his world was actually in worse shape than he'd imagined, and he shouldn't be trying to blame Erytheia for any potential Chaos spread when it could just be there already. It wasn't like he'd felt any dangerous auras, but there were still so many caverns of his wonder that could hold- any manner of things, probably.
And Erytheia had probably spent a significantly greater amount of time tending to his wonder than Antisana had.
"I apologize for the accusation," he murmured softly. "I still never know what to expect," he admitted. "When something strange happens..." Well, it always seemed bad. Antisana couldn't think of any good surprises he'd encountered since being powered. He shook his head.
Erytheia even had that- that other spirit. The one they'd seen at his wonder during the fight to rid it of the Chaos Seed. A whole nother person with experience being a knight to glean insight from. Antisana had no such thing. He wished he knew more. He wished he had anything to offer the knight beside him worried about his flower fields, beisdes just the admission that he'd smelled something similar that had killed a few stray plants on his own world. Maybe Erytheia's Chaos Seed and the dead plants were related, but maybe not.
Maybe therew as some Chaos Seed on his world that he had to find and eradicate too... But maybe not. He just didn't know. It felt like he didn't know anything.
"Will you please let me know if you learn anything else?" He asked quietly.

“That’s okay. It was what I thought at first, too. And I still can’t be entirely certain it’s not related somehow.”He smiled to Antisala, but it was clearly forced. “Let’s take you back. I promise to share anything I learn.”
