Solo word minimum is 750, RP post minimum is 7It all started as rumors...strange traits that appeared after certain Earthlings and Alkdikes went on a sort of...spiritual journey. Some would disappear for days before returning with horns, or feathers down their arms, or claws in place of their hands. Others apparently would fall off a cliff only to fly their way to freedom, disappearing in the clouds and never seen again. Those were the stories that were hard to believe...but these days...more were seeing these traits first hand.
Forked tongues, fuzzy antennae, spikes across their skin.
Legendary people who were blessed by the gods themselves.
No one quite knows why individuals are blessed, or when they can expect it, or even what they might get in terms of this unique trait. But it's gotten regular enough that rumors and gossip is starting to spread around. Younglings are daydreaming of traits they might some day get - though not guaranteed. And some are fearing the implications of why they might get such a thing.
Uncertainty is a dangerous think - it can lead to excitement and anticipation, but it also can lead to unfound fears. Especially when the uncertainty is around something completely and utterly out of one's control.
[ Lately more and more Tendajians are being blessed with Legendary Traits. There still is no rhyme or reason around why one is selected, outside of them being older and experienced. In this prompt, explore how your character feels about Legendary traits. Maybe they cross paths with someone with such traits, or maybe they are listening to rumors. Or maybe they are hoping for what their future traits might be (right or wrong). Have fun exploring this concept in character solo or with friends. ]

[ Liio 1 ] They were in Zena, somewhere Liio wasn't quite as excited to be. It wasn't so much the cold nature of his icy relatives, but instead the cold nature of the lands. His toes would grow uncomfortably tight, his breathing short, and his nose felt like it would fall off. Unfortunately, Elna seemed to enjoy these types of stops, and so he knew he would need to maintain them. Besides, it was a nice stop before the next thing, whatever that may be. For now, he recommended they find the warmest inn with the largest fire and grab a drink before his fingers fall off.

Elna pulled the fur coat around herself tighter and felt the icy wind biting at her nose. She had missed being home. While she loved traveling and staying close to her brother, she loved the snows and mountains of Zena. There was nothing better than getting inside after traveling through the freezing winters and huddling up next to a fire with her books.
“Are we stopping here?” She asked Liio, gesturing toward the large wooden building growing closer in their path. The smoke was billowing out of the chimney and the windows glowed with a warm light.

He nodded, not risking the sound of his chittering teeth. He knew his sister adored such places, but this was something they agreed to disagree on. He was more warm blooded, and enjoyed his trips in the damp hills of Sauti or the dry fields of Tale. That being said, he did appreciate Zena...behind a weatherproofed window with a warm glass of a drink that warmed his soul.
Walking into the area quickly, he shook out his jacket as he darted over to order drinks, turning back toward his sister to see if she wanted anything else.

Elna shook herself off at the doorway, letting the slush and snow fall off of her shoes and coat and pulling her hood back. Her nose was red and had the biting feeling of too quickly warming up after being in the cold for so long. Elna nodded her head to Liio, already knowing he was silently asking if she wanted a drink, before closing the distance to meet him at the bar. “Do you want to sit over there?” She offered to him, pointing out a little corner near the fire where a handful of open chairs surrounded small tables.
“It’s a good thing you’re here to keep me from getting frostbite or I might never notice when it’s too cold.” She comment to Liio while he handed over her drink. She could feel the warmth starting to come back into her fingers and ears now as well, her body finally inhabiting somewhere with a normal living temperature. The place they had come to rest at was large, with quite a few people holed up, but the size of it made it seem roomy and secluded.
