Day 1: Meet the Artist
Spent far too long on this that I won't admit... A slight mashup between myself and my artsy avatar with some liked things, including my cat Hiiro, in the background.
I am so out of touch with my digital art skills. This took far too long and I accidentally closed the file without saving. I couldn't think of what to draw and then I remembered Chii likes ducks.

Day 3: Colored Pencils
I never use colored pencils so my technique could use a LOT of improvement. I also never pay attention to how much time I spend on a piece, especially if I'm experimenting/trying something different.
I think, technically, I completed the challenge with the piece I did for VenereaI Disease, as it's a full body with an experimental coloring technique, but I still plan to make another 2 pieces.

Day 5: Sushi
I spent hours learning how to make vector art in Clip Paint Studio. I still had to rasterize the layers to make a tile, but I still have the vectors if I want to do something more with them.
The colors made me think of a deer. Initial sketches resulted in a deer boy singing and he officially came into existence with this piece. Lineless art is super time consuming...

Day 7: Galaxy
Close up, these look decent. Tiled, it's not that appealing. Maybe if I only made 3 and made edits of those, it might look better. I still have the vectors if I want to mess with them again. Overall, I'm mostly happy with the final result.
~3 hours I really wanted to draw a tiger for Day 7, but galaxy won instead. But here I decided to combine the two and I love the outcome.

Day 11: Feather
I found some feather references for a Ruby-Throated Hummingbird. Shown are a primary flight feather and two types of tail feathers. Interestingly, it seems that one of their longest primary flight feathers is ~1.5 inches. They're so tiny!
These took ridiculously long. A couple of hours last night and several more today.
I originally thought I draw something like peas in a pod but I forgot that sweet pea is usually known as a flower. Or at least google says so.
Here I thought I'd spend ~ 30 minutes using watercolors instead of a near 2 hours trying to make something decent. Should have gone digital... And I'm always heavy handed with the pigments.
First attempt
After several failed attempts, here is the final piece.

Day 13: Wolf
I had an idea to make another tile but it didn't pan out. I wasn't feeling as inspired as usual today and all inspiration stopped with the sketches. So, here we go. Some stylized wolves. Perhaps I'll use a future theme to edit/add on/finish these.
