Hobbies:

Researching wild life ~ Well before the fall of the Moon Kingdom and the spread of darkness, Jian enjoyed learning about the fauna of every planet Jian visited and of course Jian's own. It's not unusual for Jian to have multiple notebooks on hand to pull out to jot down any information found out as well as to sketch what the current subject looks like, all eventually moved to a hand done bestiary that was appropriate for the world.
In fact this was a widely known fact about Jian once upon a time that it was considered polite for any visitors to the planet Agravain to bring bestiaries as gifts. Between the gifts and the bestiaries that Jian made personally there were many libraries filled with fauna information that welcomed any person to enjoy.

Art ~ He started out doing art as a way to add to his bestiaries and it slowly went from there to include landscapes and people as well. One of the rooms in his house had ended up turned into a workshop where he would store his materials on one side and finished paintings on the other, though he would occasionally give them away throw them out to make room.

Virtues:

Loyal ~ While it's hard to gain Jian's loyalty, once it is given it's even harder to loose. Jian is willing to walk to the ends of the universe and back for someone who is found worthy, tread though any trial or suffering needed for any task given by the person(s), and isn't hesitant to do what it takes to protect those whose loyalty Jian owes.
It was one of the reasons why for all the cold exterior for Jian, the inhabitants of the planet of Agravain adored their Senshi for they knew that Jian would sacrifice anything for them if it was necessary.

Feels Deeply Tsundere ~ Very few are able to slip past the cold outside and find themselves welcome to the warm inside, with Jian's brother being one of the small exceptions. Once there however it can become rather obvious that Jian care's greatly and will do practically anything to make sure the person is happy, healthy, and has as little troubles as possible.

Flaws:

Critical ~ Have you ever had a teacher that always had something bad to say about the work you did either in the amount of time you put in or the quality of work you did? Yeah that is what Jian is like to anyone and everyone. You can be in the middle of a fight and if he sees you do something that isn't optimized he will add in his two cents in a snarky tone until you correct it. Of course for as much as he criticizes others, he's x100's worse on himself, just just wont show it and rather keep it internal to brood on later.

Cold and Dismissive Tsundere ~ Jian isn't interested in becoming friends with every living being nor in being seen as someone to be casually approached at all, instead preferring to fall back on manners and customs if interacting with someone is an absolute must and even then it's with a very obvious distance that Jian don't try to hide at all. He finds it hard to truly open up with someone and that is one of the reasons why he act the way he does in hopes that most wont even try.

Clothes: Typically for earth wear he tried to get loose clothes that aren't tight but also wont get in the way of his movements.

Physical Features:
Agrawainian's tend to have darker skintones though they can be of darker jewel colors that Earth would find only in fantasy, and all have some type of striping in lighter colors on their skin that match the base color, though the amount of stripes varies. Their feet resemble a mix between a large cats paw and a human feet, including having claws at the ends and toe beans beneath, that aid in balance over the terrain of the planet and they typically only wear shoes when off planet or while entertaining guests from another planet. On a similar note, Agrawainian's normally have clawed hands but Jian didn't inherit them fully, only having stronger nails then a typical human's but not any sharper.

Jian's pointed ears actually come from his mother's side of the family, as it is a typical feature of the people from the sister planet to Agrawain but not Agrawain itself beyond those of mixed blood such as Jian and his brother.


Backstory/History:
While his father came from the planet of Agrawain, his mother came from a sister planet. The two had meet and fell in love during some shared festivals that happened every ten years, leading to Jian and his little brother being born.When Jian was 16 he was found out to be the Senshi of Agrawain by the Mauvian Hania, while his little brother was found to be the Senshi of the sister planet. It caused a separation in the family with Jian and his father staying on Agrawain and his brother and mother staying on the sister planet. They made it work the best the could with many visits but distance was inevitable.

It was during one of the times they had been separated but their father was with with his mother and brother, that the Moon Kingdom fell and the sister planet to Agrawain fell with it though he only knew about the sister planet thanks to connection to his brother, and Jian's family slain before he even knew there was a battle going on. Heartbroken but unable to leave Agrawain or even communicate to anyone outside the planet as disasters started to happen one after another, Jian withdrew into himself and focused on protecting his planet and people. Unfortunately as the years went by the chaos grew, disasters taking out the farmlands, diseases running amok on the flora and fauna alike, his planet was dying.

He no longer aged and lived on only due to the slowly fading power of his planet as he became the last living thing on Agrawain. The a light shone through the darkness and he took the chance to see if he could find hope for saving what was left of his planet. He reached, and he arrived on Earth.
